"It’s been over three years. More than a thousand days have passed since we were in this very restaurant, complaining about how hard it was to get a spot in the ga."
"Who would’ve thought that in just three years, our Blue Star would change so much?"
The young man looked up at the sky.
At that mont, nurous Low Tier Transcendents were weaving through the sky above the street, aided by simple Magic Flight Suits.
anwhile, around the city, thousand-ter-tall towers were being rapidly constructed.
At the sa ti, the restaurant’s television was broadcasting a news report about the Human Alliance actively building its fifteenth ecological city on the lunar surface.
The broadcast also ntioned that the exploration of Gray Saturn was in full swing, with a site for an ecological city expected to be selected within a year.
A lot can happen in three and a half years of real-world ti.
By relying on the Magic Technology of the Insect People and combining it with Blue Star’s own original technological level... well, to say nothing of other areas.
In these three years, innovative Magic Items on Blue Star saw new breakthroughs practically every day.
These breakthroughs, in turn, led to massive improvents in the people’s quality of life.
First, because Blue Star had ascended to beco a Low Demon World, the Human Alliance released all the basic Extraordinary knowledge collected from the two Ga Worlds and the Insectoid World.
At the sa ti, the Human Alliance also established a large number of Cultivation Academies.
As a result, in just over three years, the average physical fitness of the citizens of the Blue Star Alliance had increased by at least one full level.
And now, not even counting Players, the number of humans on Blue Star who could reach the level of an Apprentice Knight or Apprentice Mage already numbered in the tens of millions.
As for those who had entered the Extraordinary Stage, there were already over a million Low Tier citizens within the Human Alliance.
And among those millions, the most talented of their generation had now even reached Tier Three.
As for the Players?
Their progress was on another level entirely.
Ever since Green Saturn was conquered, the True Ga has had a solid player base of three million.
But to this day, it has remained capped at three million.
This is because although Green Saturn was conquered by the humans of Blue Star, the True Ga never incorporated it into subsequent ga maps.
Even the Players who had originally spawned on Green Saturn were given generous starting bonuses after the campaign and redeployed to the worlds of Oakland and Karte.
Thus, the number of Players in the Blue Star Alliance has long been saturated.
Three million Players is what the Human Alliance publicly recognizes as the True Ga’s current limit.
With three million Players, new slots only beco available when a Player dies in the Ga World.
In short, at this point, having a thousand or so slots open up each month is already considered pretty good.
After all, compared to the real world, over ten thousand days had now passed in the ga’s two major maps.
In other words, about thirty years.
With thirty years having passed in the Ga World, one can only imagine how accomplished the Players who got in early must be by now.
According to the public information released by the Human Alliance,
the current composition of these three million Players is very complex.
The number of Low Tier and Middle Tier Players is nearly equal.
1,130,000 Low Tier Players and 1,250,000 Middle Tier Players.
This accounts for nearly eighty percent of the total Player population.
And the ultimate reason for this situation was the ergence of the Star Empire.
Because within the Star Empire, on the entire Karte Continent, warfare was almost nonexistent.
The only remaining path to advance was to raid the Underground Cities.
But raiding those Underground Cities ca with a terrifyingly high death rate.
As such, many Players who were fortunate enough to get a spot would clear a few Underground Cities to obtain their Professional status, then simply decide to coast.
They would join the Professional association for the Divine Favored, then go into politics or business. In a word, it was all about "stability."
In short, with such a comfortable environnt, many Players who got in were no longer willing to take even the slightest risk.
This explains why, even after thirty years had passed in the Ga World, there were still so many Low Tier Players.
The situation for Middle Tier Players was different, but very similar.
After all, many Players felt that Middle Tier strength was enough, especially since their average lifespan had reached about three hundred years.
’With all that ti, why keep taking risks?’
And so, a saying began to circulate among the Player community.
It went like this:
"Your character in the Ga World is your second life—you can’t just throw it away. The Underground Cities aren’t going anywhere. Why not wait until your character’s life is at least half over before taking any risks? There’s no downside."
And believe it or not, this line of reasoning wasn’t just popular among Low and Middle Tier Players; many High Tier Players felt the sa way.
And by now, there were a great many High Tier Players.
Nearly six hundred thousand of them!
Which one of those six hundred thousand High Tier Players wasn’t living a life of wealth and comfort in the Ga World?
Not to ntion that among the Player community, there were now over thirteen hundred who had reached the Saint Tier.
But obviously, these thirteen-hundred-plus Saint Tier Players were not the type to be content with the status quo.
After all, any Player with the strength of a Saint Tier had to have gone through one trial after another to get there.
However, the majority of these High Tier and Saint Tier Players hailed from the Oakland Continent.
After all, the environnt on the Karte Continent was far too comfortable.
