The younger generation had certainly never witnessed any major battles, much less truly grueso scenes.

As for the trials and combat the Empire’s Virtual Reality system provided for the younger generation, they were nothing more than simulations.

Death wasn’t on the table, so there was no real cause for concern.

And now?

This was a genuine Otherworld.

And one that was clearly hostile to the Human Race.

If you died here, you were well and truly dead.

So their panic was understandable.

However, He’an refused to believe that people chosen by the True Ga could be as ordinary as they appeared on the surface.

So, after a mont of thought, he imdiately tried to reassure them.

"It’s true we can’t go back for now."

"But you don’t need to worry so much. After all, have you forgotten who I am?"

He’an smiled.

The two stared blankly at He’an, then suddenly snapped out of their daze.

"Oh, right! He’an, you’re a Divine Favored!"

"How could I have forgotten that! I heard that the harsher the environnt, the faster a Divine Favored advances."

"I rember from the Empire’s records that no Divine Favored has ever taken more than ten years to go from Low Tier to Saint Tier, right?"

Potter looked at He’an as if he were a drowning man clinging to a lifeline.

At the sa ti, the Young Princess, Helen, also composed herself and said:

"The Divine Favored are the Empire’s sharpest spear!"

"According to the records in the Empire’s Great Library, during the Empire’s initial chaotic era, almost all the Saints among the Divine Favored rose to prominence then."

"According to what my mother told , a Divine Favored only advances fastest in the most dangerous environnts, and that’s also when their ’Divine Favor’ is at its most potent."

"So, He’an, does that an you’ve received a powerful blessing of Divine Favor now?"

Hearing the Young Princess Helen say this, He’an was stunned for a mont before smiling and nodding.

"That’s not an entirely inaccurate way of putting it. After all, matters concerning us Divine Favored can’t be shared with outsiders."

"This concerns the deepest secrets of the Divine Realm. It’s enough for you to know that."

"In short, while this mission may seem dangerous, it is also an opportunity."

"In tis of peace, the resources we can obtain are limited. Even the Divine Favor we Divine Favored receive is limited. But here, it’s a different story!"

"I think you know what this ans."

"..."

He’an was doing his best to reassure and encourage them.

However, it was clear this world was anything but peaceful. In the ruins of this wilderness, danger lurked around every corner.

And just then.

As the three of them were talking atop the ruins, a group of monsters suddenly burst forth from the rubble nearby.

The mont the monsters appeared, all three of them felt a bit of panic.

But once a string of data appeared in their vision, their panic subsided.

[Blood-Origin Blood Beast]

[Equivalent Tier: Tierless.]

[Body Length: Four to eight ters]

[Description: This creature is a cannon fodder species created by the Blood Race. A servant-type summoned creature, it is often used by the Blood Race to capture ordinary people during conflicts with the Human Race.]

(Found in large numbers in uninhabited areas. Threat level: extrely low.)

Seeing the miraculous ssage that had suddenly appeared, Potter was the first to snap out of it.

"Damn, that scared the hell out of . I thought the so-called Blood Race had found us the second we arrived, but it’s just this?"

The culture of the Star Empire had been influenced quite a bit by the Divine Favored.

As a result, it had beco quite normal to hear people talk like they were from Blue Star.

And while Potter was speaking, the Young Princess Helen had already waved her hand.

The next mont, with a flash of clear light like a spinning chakram, the four Blood-Origin Blood Beasts over thirty ters away were decapitated one after another.

"They’re not small, but their power is clearly lacking."

Helen comnted, letting out a long sigh of relief.

"Yeah. It looks like they’re only slightly stronger than common wild animals. You couldn’t even call them Demon Beasts."

"It’s just that this world is a bit too bizarre."

He’an spoke, but at the sa ti, he was already frowning.

He frowned because, right before their eyes, the four Blood-Origin Blood Beasts they had just killed began to rapidly lt away less than twenty seconds after dying.

Their lting bodies turned to a blood-like liquid, which quickly seeped into the ground and vanished without a trace.

Seeing such a bizarre scene, both Potter and Helen were sowhat stunned.

"What’s going on?"

"Are these things dead or not?"

"What the hell are these things? They can lt? Maybe I should try burning one with fire?"

Potter was clearly a Fire Attribute Mage, and he spoke up imdiately.

"Go ahead."

"I’ll try using my Priest Skill, Light of Healing, on them too. I suspect they’re sothing similar to Undead Creatures."

With that, He’an and Potter moved at the sa ti.

Aided by their Imperial Standard Magic Clothing, they rose into the air and dived toward several other Blood Beasts that had appeared in different directions.

"BOOM!!!"

Flas surged, suddenly illuminating the crimson darkness.

"ROAR!!!"

The Blood Beast let out a wailing roar, but it was quickly silenced.

Because Potter had already taken a strange Magic Gun from his spatial satchel and blown the Blood Beast’s head off with a single shot.

And so, amid the flas, Potter clearly saw the Blood Beast lt rapidly. The resulting blood actually ignored the intense heat of the fire, quickly seeping into the ground and disappearing.

anwhile, He’an had chosen a Blood Beast and cast a Healing Technique right on top of its head.

The result?

It was quite effective. The Blood Beast scread in agony under the Healing Technique as its body rapidly lted.

But just as with Potter’s, the lted Blood Beast’s blood quickly seeped into the earth, unaffected, and vanished completely.

"Bizarre!!!"

"This is too fucking weird!"

"How are we supposed to fight this? We can’t even kill Tierless creatures in this world?!!"

Potter moved closer to He’an.

But He’an’s expression had turned peculiar.

"No, we did kill them."

"It’s just that the rules of this world seem to have a special preference for blood. So, the blood they lt into doesn’t an they’ve escaped. It ans they’ve completely beco nutrients for the earth of this world."

As He’an said this, he imdiately shared the system notifications he received as a Player with the other two mbers of his party.

"What the hell? The very ground of this world sucks blood?"

"The Blood Race, the Human Race? Even other creatures? Does this happen to everything that dies?"

"The Laws of this world are just too insane, aren’t they?"

Faced with this situation, even He’an, a Player, felt a chill run down his spine.

’What kind of cosmic joke is this?’

’A normal world would never have such a bizarre phenonon.’

’So, this world was definitely not normal.’

’On top of that, these Blood Beasts were so-called summoned creatures.’

’Does that an the Blood Race can summon creatures like this at will?’

’Then how could the humans of this world possibly stand against the Blood Race?’

’After all, this world itself was called the Crimson World, and the mission briefing stated that it was a world dominated by the Blood Race.’

But in a world dominated by the Blood Race, sothing strange was happening.

Humans were sohow able to fight back against the Blood Race.

Strange!!!

Too strange!!!

So, the three of them gathered together and quickly ca to a decision.

Their plan was to keep the invisibility effect of their Empire Prototype 023 Uniforms active at all tis and find a human city or settlent in this world as quickly as possible.

Only by reaching a human city or settlent could they truly figure out what was going on in this world.

This was also necessary if they wanted to spread their faith.

They couldn’t exactly go and preach their faith to the Blood Race, could they?

Thus, the three of them quickly set out into the crimson night.

They flew at a low altitude, searching for any trace of human existence.

Fortunately, the Magic Environnt of this world was on par with, if not better than, the Star Empire’s. Therefore, just by relying on the Magic Power circulation system of their Imperial Extraordinary Standard Uniforms, the three of them could maintain low-speed, low-altitude flight without consuming their own Magic Power.

And so, after more than three days of aimless searching, they finally made a discovery.

They hadn’t found a human settlent.

Instead, they witnessed a small-scale conflict between the Human Race and the Blood Race.

In the sa region of no-man’s-land, just as it was approaching noon, a human squad of fourteen was locked in a ground battle with three mbers of the Blood Race.
