The Blood Race mber nad Tavis was taken aback for a mont, then gave a sinister smile.
"Very well. It seems we do need to show each other so respect."

"It’s best that way," Garcia huffed.
"But, speaking of which, while this is a huge opportunity, the Prince’s orders are rather baffling."
"For such a tiny city, do we really need to mobilize so many humans as fodder?"
"If you ask , the three of us could just sneak in and instantly shatter what little power those Blood Hunter ’hyenas’ have in this city," said the Blood Race mber Dis, his voice laced with arrogance.
"Sneak in? What’s the point of killing all those hyenas? Just to get driven out again by the Blood Hunters’ bigger hyenas?"
"Our mission this ti isn’t to enslave the Human Race or conquer territory. Our primary task is to take Brighton, and then, we are to find ’people’ with all our might!!!"
"Find the ’people’ whom the Prince believes will influence the fate of the world," Tavis said calmly.
"’People’ who can change the fate of the world?"
"Heh, to be honest, I still find it a bit laughable."
"How could there possibly be humans in this world capable of changing its fate?"
"No matter how powerful the Human Race gets, can they ever be stronger than the Prince? Or even the Blood Ancestors?"
"Besides, the existence of the Adams Empire... heh, that’s practically an open secret among the Blood Race... If you ask , the Prince could just let those who are playing house..."
"Shut up, you fool!" Tavis suddenly cut off Dis’s rambling.

"This concerns the will of the Thirteen Blood Ancestors! Do you think re Viscounts like us dare to discuss such matters?"
"Besides, our Prince is just the Prince of the Hamilton Blood Moon Country. Even a Prince doesn’t have the authority to do sothing like that!"
Tavis looked at them with a cold expression, then imdiately added:
"For the sake of this mission, I’ll let you two pups, who are nearly a century my junior, in on a secret."
"Any high-ranking mber of the Blood Race who tries to interfere with the workings of the Human Race’s Adams Empire, be they a Duke or a Prince, will not co to a good end!"
"I’m not afraid to tell you, if you ever make it back to the ’main house’s’ archives and take a good look at the books on the top-right shelf in the third row of the library, you would never say sothing so ignorant."
Seeing Tavis’s dead-serious and cold expression, the other two were stunned.
They imdiately sobered up.
Tavis didn’t seem to be lying. After all, he’d told them exactly where to find the information.

"Alright... I apologize for my ignorance. But Tavis, I will find a chance to go back and look into it."
"Hmph. That’s assuming you get a chance to go back alive."
Tavis was brutally blunt.
After all, Tavis was, at the very least, a century older than the other two.
He knew more of the Blood Race’s secrets and was deeply worried about the current war.

anwhile, in a location unknown to the three of them, Maureen rrick, a Blood Guard and ssenger to the Blood Race Prince, was listening in with great interest.

Maureen rrick was a Blood Guard to Eni Hayes, the First Blood Ancestor Prince of Hamilton. His own Power had long ago reached the level of a Duke.
However, Maureen rrick was a Blood Guard, a direct fledgling of a Blood Race Prince’s Bloodline. As such, he did not possess his own Duchy or family domain.
But Maureen rrick was disdainful of so-called Duchies and family domains.
Among the Blood Race, Power reigns supre.
With Power and backing, one had a chance at near-eternal life. Who needed such trifles?
So, while Maureen rrick might have envied those of the Blood Race who possessed both Power and autonomous territories, as a Prince’s Blood Guard, he had his own sources of pride.
Therefore, he didn’t place much importance on such things.
He recalled the mont the Blood Race Prince had received his instructions for this mission—a projection from the Seventh Blood Ancestor. As a Blood Guard, he had been at the Prince’s side the entire ti.
That was how he knew the true difficulty of this mission.
