"By doing this, aren’t we just exposing ourselves?"
"It seems a bit unnecessary. He’an, what are you thinking?"
He’an was a Divine Favored and the captain of the Civilization Pioneers on this trip.
Even the Young Princess, Helen, followed He’an’s arrangents most of the ti, not to ntion that He’an was now Tier Five. That was why Potter was now questioning him after the first wave of the Blood Race’s siege.
He’an looked at Potter, filled with a sense of resignation.
’Can I really tell him I’m just trying to grind for better rewards from the hundred-day Inference Day?’
’After all, many veteran Players have said it before: the rule of the True Ga is war!!! Only by surviving each war will the rewards from Inference Day increase.’
Of course, He’an’s arrangents this ti weren’t solely for the Inference Day rewards.
After all, upon reaching Tier Five, He’an had already obtained the Civilization Pioneer’s privilege in the True Ga.
In other words, during Inference Day, he could now have his Consciousness Descend into the Ga World.
Therefore, in a sense, He’an’s ga progress had already entered the Inference Day period.
He’an’s covert assistance to the Blood Hunters was, in fact, also motivated by another idea.
"It’s fine to tell you now."
"Frankly, my main consideration for taking action this ti was to confuse the Blood Race and make them think we’re hiding among the Blood Hunters’ ranks."
"Of course, this is a bit like plugging one’s ears while stealing a bell. After all, if the Blood Race manages to bribe soone from the Human Race, they should be able to learn about the Dragon God Church’s current situation."
"But none of that really matters anymore!"
"Because the smokescreen has been deployed. It should at least buy us so ti from the Blood Race."
"Besides, reality has proven my guess correct. The Deities of this world must have noticed sothing unusual. Look, after the second siege, the Blood Race has completely retreated!"
"Also, that big thing in the sky has silently withdrawn as well!"
He’an gazed toward the distant horizon. Hearing this, both Potter and Helen fell into contemplative silence.
"So, if I’m not mistaken, you’re planning to relocate, aren’t you, He’an?"
Helen said, looking thoughtfully at He’an.
He’an smiled and nodded.
"Yes."
"Brighton City is no longer a suitable place for us to stay."
"It’s a border city, after all, and with this Blood Race business, it’s bound to beco dangerous."
"Besides, Commandery Princess, didn’t you also want to move to a larger city to spread the faith?"
"So, this ti, let’s go straight to Sutton!"
Potter fell silent at his words, while Helen simply smiled.
"We should have done this long ago!"
"Our mission is to spread the faith and welco the Empire’s grand army to ’liberate’ this suffering world."
"It’s not about playing the hero. Our deaths would be a small matter; delaying the plans of the Empire and the great Dragon God would be the true cri."
"Besides, Brighton surely won’t be in any great danger for the ti being."
"After all, given the recent Blood Race raid, this area is certain to beco a key focus for the Blood Hunter Corps."
"So, it really is ti for us to make a tily exit!"
"As for the church and the properties here, we can leave them in the care of a few students."
"The seeds of faith have been sown. The rest is of little consequence."
At Helen’s words, a thought suddenly struck Potter, and he said:
"We absolutely have to keep the church going, but we can’t leave it to the students who’ve taken the Bloodline Potion."
"We can’t even leave it to students who know too much about us. The best way is to have the registered students from the gangs under my command look after it."
"That way, even if the Blood Hunters investigate, they won’t be able to find out much about us."
"And when we get to Sutton, we can just switch to promoting a different faith."
Potter’s words made both He’an and Helen give him a second look.
"Well, look at you, being clever for once!"
He’an said with a laugh, then continued:
"Not only can we not leave behind the students who now have an Extraordinary Bloodline, but we must also take so of the gang mbers who are close to us!"
"Once we’re in Sutton, we definitely can’t continue to promote faith in the Dragon God!"
"However, if there’s one thing the Star Empire has plenty of, it’s Deities."
"Hmm, going down the list in order of precedence, who do you think we should promote next? Truth, which is closest to the Dragon God, or Death?"
Helen pondered for a mont before replying imdiately:
"The God of Death and the Undead isn’t a good deity to promote openly in this world."
"After all, promoting them would make us sound a bit like a heretical cult."
"I think faith in His Majesty, the God of Truth and Knowledge, would be quite good. If that doesn’t work, I don’t see why we couldn’t promote the Main God who just recently revived, the Storm Goddess!"
As soon as Helen finished speaking, Potter shook his head. "The Storm Goddess? I don’t think so. She just revived; His Majesty the Dragon God hasn’t even granted her an audience yet. She can’t be considered an official mber of our Star Empire’s Divine Hall of Many Gods."
"Let’s just promote faith in Truth. I think that’s a great idea!"
Helen looked at Potter, her expression noncommittal.
He’an, after a mont of thought, also nodded.
To be honest, He’an was more inclined to promote the God of Death and the Undead.
’After all, the God of the Dead is a Player!’
’Much easier to cozy up to.’
’Besides, faith in Death and the Undead isn’t really that heretical.’
’After all, that whole spiel about the six paths of reincarnation is pretty effective for duping people.’
However, since both Potter and Helen had chosen to promote faith in Truth, he didn’t really mind.
’After all, it’s still early in the ga. They have plenty of ti to promote the faiths of different Deities.’
