By the ti the Shell God poked its head out again to gaze confusedly into the Star Sea, the God of Torrents, the eel, had already turned to the Feathered Insect God and roared:
"See? I knew it! We should never have trusted these Land Deities!"
"Especially the Feathered Insect God, that murderous overgrown worm! Ready to kill the Shell God at the drop of a hat!"
"You stinking worm! Don’t think you’re so tough just because you’ve grown wings!"
"What good is your power?! If you’re so tough, go after the Exotic Deities! What do you think you’re doing, attacking us Ocean Deities?"
"If we hadn’t woken you four big louts up, you’d all still be in the dark! And now you have the nerve to get violent with us?!"
At this point, under the imnse, constant pressure from two different factions of powerful Deities, the eel’s composure was clearly starting to break.
So, he turned to the giant jellyfish.
"Vortex God!!!"
"We can’t trust these Land Deities! Especially not the Feathered Insect God!"
"So what if we manage to defeat the Exotic Land God before us? The balance of our world has already been shattered!"
"There are clearly not enough of us Ocean Deities left in the seas to stop those four on the land."
"So, let’s just be done with it!"
"Let’s just surrender to the Exotic Land God over there!"
The eel made no attempt to quiet his spiritual voice, letting it resound throughout the entire Star Sea.
His words even stunned Kukudar, who had been enjoying the show from the sidelines.
anwhile, among the Land Deities, the Green God, who looked like a tree stump, and the Frost God were already exchanging furtive glances.
At the sa ti, the Mire God, a massive loach, even began to quietly sidle up to the other two.
This left the Feathered Insect God completely isolated in his own space.
The Feathered Insect God watched the subtle movents of the other Three Land Gods.
As he listened to the eel’s words, his entire moth-like body began to tremble with rage.
"You damn fools! Do you have any idea what’s happening right now?"
"You were the ones who woke up, saying we needed to unite against the Exotic Land God!"
"And now look! Hah! You were the ones who wanted to resist, and you’re the ones who want to surrender!"
"Fine! That’s just great!"
"So you all see as the main enemy, is that right?"
"Fine!!! Just fine!!!"
And just like that, the Feathered Insect God, who had been the first to erupt in fury, was also the first to completely break down.
The Feathered Insect God may have been foolish, but he wasn’t an idiot. Otherwise, how could he have beco the planet’s most powerful Deity?
’So, in his eyes, the other gods all had their own ulterior motives.’
’They probably just wanted him to stick his neck out so he would die at the hands of the Exotic Land God.’
’Never mind the five from the ocean—the other three from the land definitely felt that way.’
’After all, he had fought a great war against those three ten thousand years ago.’
’He had even co close to being defeated.’
’And now? He, the Feathered Insect God, was willing to let bygones be bygones and step forward to fight the Exotic Land God for the sake of his world.’
’But they had barely begun—it hadn’t even really started—and what happens?’
’One of the Ocean Deities wants to surrender at the first sign of trouble?’
’Are they kidding him?’
’The Ocean Deities were the ones who woke up the Land Deities to begin with!’
To avoid undermining their morale for the fight against the Exotic Land God, the Feathered Insect God certainly wouldn’t allow such a thing to happen.
But what was the result?
His reasonable action had sohow caused this already shaky little alliance to fracture.
Worse yet, both the Three Land Gods and the Five Sea Gods were now isolating him.
He looked at the Giant Serpent God’s terrifying form and radiating aura.
He felt the other’s gaze on him—a look of astonishnt that seed tinged with pity.
The Feathered Insect God broke down, his defenses completely shattered!
"FINE!!!"
"JUST FINE!!!"
The Feathered Insect God roared with laughter!
At the sa ti, his eyes turned vicious. He shouted to Kukudar, who was still utterly bewildered:
"I, the Feathered Insect God! Am willing to submit to you, ancient Exotic Land God! I am even willing to submit to the other Exotic Land God behind you!"
"So, great Exotic Land God, do you need to help you dispose of these fools who think they can oppose you?"

"???"
At that mont, it wasn’t just Kukudar who was dumbfounded.
Even the two Barbaric Star Deities Kukudar had just subjugated were completely bewildered.
As for the eight Ancient Species on the other side, every single one of their expressions froze solid.
