"Internal damage? Mr. Han, are you kidding ? There’s clearly nothing wrong with this gun; I’ve personally tested it a long ti ago."
The young woman, who had just finished test-firing the gun, claid there was sothing wrong with it, causing Wang Zhifan’s expression to darken slightly.
Although he wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about firearms due to his upbringing, he had personally tested the rare rifle after acquiring it and was certain there was no issue with it, confirming it operates smoothly.
"Heh... Mr. Huang, I assu you’re not in the marksman profession, right? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have missed it."
Upon hearing Wang Zhifan’s response, the young woman with phoenix eyes, still standing near the large window, let out a laugh tinged with a hint of disdain.
"Indeed, I’m not, but even though I’m not a marksman, I know there’s nothing wrong with this gun. Mr. Han, are you trying to reduce the price right before the deal? Isn’t that a bit unfair?"
Wang Zhifan wasn’t about to compromise just because of the other party’s claims. He had rushed over to make this deal, planning to quickly sell and gather funds to buy a villa. But now it seed that even if he accepted a relatively low price, they still wanted to push it further down.
"Mr. Huang, we speak and act reasonably. I personally am a level 46 marksman player, and I’m very certain that your rifle has definitely suffered severe impact. Although it can still be used normally due to its excellent material, it’s already internally damaged, likely leading to problems during future use. So, four million is actually quite a fair price. Elsewhere, it might only be worth two to three million."
The young woman didn’t seem to take Wang Zhifan’s rebuttal seriously and even ntioned her player level, seemingly trying to intimidate Wang Zhifan. After all, a player over level forty is considered experienced within the player community, indicating there are hardly any weak players at this level.
But who was Wang Zhifan? Would he allow himself to be intimidated and pressured just because this woman revealed her level? Naturally, that would never happen.
Disguised as an ordinary young man, Wang Zhifan replied to the woman not far in front of him:
"Mr. Han, I cannot accept a price of four million. If you insist on reducing the price at the last mont without basic transactional integrity, then we have nothing more to discuss, and we can part ways here."
After speaking, he strode towards the young woman, preparing to take back his elite rifle.
However, at that mont, Mr. Han, with her pair of phoenix eyes, glanced at him with a slightly cold look and did not return the gun she had in hand. Instead, she suddenly took two steps back, lifted the elite rifle in her hand, and aid the muzzle at Wang Zhifan’s chest.
"Mr. Huang, I thought you were a reasonable and smart person. I didn’t expect you to be only concerned about making money, stubborn and ignorant. I advise you to follow my suggested price for this transaction, or so not-so-good things might happen."
The woman suddenly revealed her fangs, aiming her gun at Wang Zhifan right in front of him.
"Oh? What exactly might those not-so-good things be?"
Seeing the situation, Wang Zhifan’s face broke into a cold smile. Although he had been quite polite so far, it was rely a basic conduct during the transaction. If soone was unwilling to maintain this mutual understanding, he saw no reason to continue engaging in polite conversation.
"What do you think, Mr. Huang?"
Facing Wang Zhifan’s increasingly cold deanor, the young woman with the gun pointed at him showed no particular care or regard, speaking to him with a tone of slight disdain:
"In dungeons, I’ve killed more than a hundred individuals, and even in the real world, I’ve not killed fewer than I can count on one hand. I advise you, this greedy rchant, not to be so oblivious to the situation. I’m telling the truth; your rifle is worth no more than four million. I can’t offer a single penny more. Completing this transaction at a reasonable price is impossible."
"If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it! Do you think anyone’s forcing a deal with you!"
Confronted with the black barrel of the gun, Wang Zhifan displayed no trace of fear, responding imdiately in a heated tone.
At this point, he had completely lost patience for negotiations with the woman in front of him. Even though he wasn’t sure if her claims about the elite rifle being damaged were true, he understood that wasn’t the key point. The crucial matter was that he couldn’t afford to suffer such a loss for that reason. At worst, he’d sell the rifle to those willing to pay a high price.
Once he finished speaking, his figure suddenly moved in, driving strength through his fingertips, and with extraordinary speed, he reached out to grab the elite rifle pointed at him, forcibly taking back the gun from the woman’s hands almost instantly, and directly stored it into his personal space.
"You..."
The woman was imdiately shocked by this sudden turn of events. On one hand, she hadn’t expected Wang Zhifan to take proactive action even when a rare-level gun was aid at him. On the other hand, she realized that his speed and strength were at an incredibly high level, leaving her unable to respond in ti to his snatching the gun, and during the brief mont of strength confrontation, she was completely overpowered, unable to contend with him.
"Tch, wasting my ti! You’re lucky the gun didn’t go off, or today would be your death anniversary!"
After swiftly retrieving the elite rifle, Wang Zhifan made a remark and was about to leave.
He was entirely correct; he had restrained himself monts ago, taking into account that this was a densely populated area in the real world, and the woman in front of him didn’t actually shoot. Otherwise, he would’ve reciprocated the gesture even if it ant facing being wanted.
However, just as Wang Zhifan was about to leave, the woman whose gun he had taken away beca visibly anxious and suddenly raised her voice, calling him back:
"Mr. Huang! I apologize for being too impatient earlier! I’m willing to purchase your rifle for six million, as long as you help with one task!"
But at that mont, Wang Zhifan acted as if he hadn’t heard her words at all, turning to head towards the elevator, completely ignoring her.
The young woman behind him saw his attitude and imdiately, with a slightly helpless expression, raised her offer:
"Mr. Huang! I’m willing to pay seven million! No, eight million is fine! Even a million!"
It was as if she were frantically bidding on her desired treasure at an auction, for so reason, determined to keep Wang Zhifan.
Originally, Wang Zhifan wasn’t planning to entertain this sowhat unreliable and erratic woman, but seeing how eagerly she raised the price to retain his presence, he couldn’t help showing so interest. After all, it’s hard to imagine what a high-level player would want him to do for them.
