The Sea Parrot was relatively idle, with not much change from when they ca aboard during the day. However, the nearby ship was different. Chen Ming and his brother could see the deck was covered in blood and terrifying human limbs, even heads with eyes wide open.

Soon, after passing by busy figures and the Sea Parrot crew guarding critical areas of the pirate ship such as the helm and sails, Wang Zhifan checked that everything on deck was normal and descended alone below the deck, into the cabin.
His powerful perception revealed that two key figures he was interested in were below. One was gathering with so surviving pirates, discussing sothing unknown.
"Old One-Eye, why didn’t you kill those people above when you had the chance? We could have sailed away imdiately!"
At this mont, in a cabin, a short, middle-aged pirate angrily confronted the old One-Eyed Dragon, clearly not understanding his hesitation earlier.
"Heh... Just say you want dead."
The old One-Eyed Dragon raised his eyelids, responding impatiently to the middle-aged man.
"Old One-Eye, you’ve truly aged, lost the vigor you once had! Are you really that afraid of that kid?"
Another chubby pirate couldn’t help but accuse the seemingly timid old man in front of him, pointing a finger at him.

Suddenly, a cry of agony rang out as the chubby pirate’s pointing finger hit the ground. It turned out the old One-Eyed Dragon quickly and unexpectedly chopped off the offending finger with astonishing speed.

The formidable old pirate coldly retorted to the writhing, screaming chubby pirate, while also glancing at the surprised short, middle-aged pirate beside him, who hadn’t expected the old friend to act so suddenly and violently against his own n.
"Shorty, that guy is extrely strong. I feel like he was toying with us during the battle. Even if we had killed those people outside, we wouldn’t have escaped. If we angered him, we’d all die, so we have to cooperate for now..."
The old One-Eyed Dragon explained to the short middle-aged pirate, his wrinkled face looking serious.
"Then... let’s wait until we reach the port to escape."

"Hehe, Captain, we’re discussing how to help you find that island."
Seeing Wang Zhifan suddenly appear, the serious expression on the One-Eyed Dragon’s face imdiately turned into a smile.
"Oh? Really? Is that how you discuss things, by fighting?"
Wang Zhifan ignored the old man’s title for himself, showing so disbelief as he glanced at the chubby pirate who was picking up his severed finger with a pained expression.
"Captain, that’s how us pirates are. Losing a finger is normal; that’s how I lost my left eye."
The old man hurriedly replied, wanting to avoid continuing the topic with the terrifying intruder.
"Alright, make sure to co to the captain’s quarters later. We need to carefully plan our next steps."
After saying this to the old man, Wang Zhifan turned and phased through the wall again, leaving the n in the cabin relieved that he’d gone.
"Did you feel it? The killing intent he was hiding... he almost killed us all... he only didn’t because we’re still useful to him..."
The old man spoke with a hint of fear in his eyes, a stark contrast to the tough act he’d put on the deck. Obviously, his earlier behavior was a guise.
He was aware that their conversation had likely been exposed, not understanding why, despite having arranged soone at the entrance, the young man had managed entry unnoticed. But pondering it further was useless now; he could only regret the insufficient arrangent.
anwhile, in another cabin on the pirate ship, a large man had removed his armor, revealing his scaly appearance, kneeling before a faceless statue, muttering.
"Great Sea God! Your devout followers thank you for your protection! You are the sole sovereign of the endless ocean..."
The crocodile-man continued his prayers, not noticing the figure phasing through the wall until Wang Zhifan arrived quietly. Wang didn’t interrupt the prayers, opting to listen silently while observing the statue.
"The statue is androgynous and seemingly crudely made, but it gives a strange feeling. It probably isn’t an ordinary object..."
Wang Zhifan maintained a respectful distance from godly objects; discovering the statue wasn’t normal, he used the Deceitful Shadow Shoes ability to phase through the wall again, then knocked on the cabin door from outside.
The crocodile-man stopped his prayers and opened the door, allowing Wang Zhifan to inquire about the statue.
"Sir, this statue holds the great Sea God’s precious blessings and is proof of his protection over us. Thanks to it, this ship fears no storms and sails faster than others..."
From the crocodile-man, Wang Zhifan learned that the Sea God statue in the cabin wasn’t ordinary; it was why the pirate ship possessed special abilities.
