"Long live the King! Charge!"

"Charge!"

"Charge!"

"Annihilate the Tao Army!"

...

The Feng Country Army, who had initially planned to flee after Wang Zhifan, their leader, died, suddenly seed to be fueled with adrenaline. They began to shout and their charge speed skyrocketed from a turtle’s pace to a cheetah’s sprint. Their fear of the Tao Country’s Terracotta Army was instantly overco, as one by one they surged forward with undefeatable courage.

After all, what they feared was being crushed without resistance by the Terracotta Army. Yet now, their reality was that their leader was single-handedly on the brink of decimating the Terracotta Army. The enemy was severely damaged and their formation in chaos. Anyone who didn’t seize the opportunity to earn so military rit would be a downright fool.

"How can the King be this powerful..."

The young commander clad in armor, responsible for leading the Feng Country soldiers, was equally ecstatic. However, amidst his excitent was an overwhelming shock, unable to comprehend how the youth he deed reckless monts ago exhibited such divine power, essentially overturning his understanding of individual strength.

But these thoughts only flashed by in such a mont. His professional integrity didn’t allow for distraction. He quickly quelled his inner questions and led the imnsely excited Feng Country Army into the advantageous encirclent battle.

anwhile, Wang Zhifan, who had caused this reversal, had already halted his actions. He stood with the Thunder Dragon Fury in hand atop a kneeling, utterly dead, broken terracotta figure. There wasn’t an enemy around him able to stand; all were either desperately fleeing him or were dismbered, desperately writhing on the ground, only to be overwheld by the cheering Feng Country soldiers brandishing axes and spears.

"So weak... these terracotta figures... I’ll leave the rest to the soldiers; otherwise, this battle is nothing but fighting alone."

Wang Zhifan didn’t stop due to exhaustion but out of a sense of disinterest, feeling that continuing to battle these terracotta figures was akin to bullying children and entirely uninteresting. It wasn’t necessary, for he believed the ragtag Feng Country Army he brought could finish off these remnants. Otherwise, these soldiers wouldn’t have a chance to earn their rewards through rit.

He put away the Thunder Dragon Fury and bowed his head to examine the corpse beneath his feet. It was a blackened cadaver, mostly buried under crushed terracotta. The terracotta controlled by the figure had, unfortunately, been cleaved open by him, which allowed the lightning from the Thunder Dragon Fury to render it into such a dire state.

"Although the features of this corpse are indistinguishable, it seems there is sothing special inside..."

Wang Zhifan’s perception was exceptionally sharp. Just a glance was enough for him to identify valuable items on the corpse. He then constructed an ice claw using the power of ice out of thin air and extracted an object from the belly of the corpse. It was a small, soil-colored pearl the size of a pea, emanating a dull luster and a mysterious aura.

"Is this why these people can control the clay figures?"

Wang Zhifan then scrutinized the small soil-colored pearl for two seconds, determining it wasn’t there by coincidence. He manipulated the ice claw that was holding it and crushed it. Instantly, the smashed terracotta figure beneath him seed to lose its cohesion, collapsing from fragnted remains into scattered loose earth, its previous giant form no longer recognizable.

"As expected... Tao Country has mastered a remarkable technique... Yet, they’ve used it to build a youthful version of a Gundam army."

Based on the experint just conducted, Wang Zhifan understood why the Tao Country’s Terracotta Army required soone inside. It could be inferred that the terracotta was rely an extension of the human inside. It was precisely due to these special soldiers that the terracotta could form, and not as it appeared on the surface as re controllers.

While contemplating this issue, he gradually noticed the surrounding combat sounds diminishing. Raising his head, he saw that his army had completely wiped out the remaining terracotta that weren’t completely destroyed. Only a few cavalry were teaming up with shield-axe soldiers to fully encircle and eliminate the few terracotta desperately attempting to flee.

"Weren’t they supposed to be unafraid of death? In the end, they still fear dying."

Wang Zhifan felt his subordinates were sowhat inefficient in mopping up the last of the enemies. His gaze locked onto those few remaining foes and he applied the power of ice on them, causing them to quickly seize up and beco sitting ducks.

After dealing with this small matter, his eyes quickly shifted to the sky, locking onto an eagle soaring not far overhead. His brows knitted slightly.

"Soone is observing here... is it a scout from Tao Country or other players?"

To others, it might easily seem like the eagle was just a wild bird, but his powerful perception detected so mystical fluctuations, instantly confirming it was sent for reconnaissance. It was unclear if it was sent by local forces or other players.

"If soone takes the opportunity to attack my ho base, how should I respond... I hope the distance between Yin Country and Fengdu is indeed as close as they claim. Otherwise, I might not be able to keep track of the situation and return to support in ti."

Others’ coveting created a hint of vigilance in Wang Zhifan. Even though he left a Dream Avatar to guard when leading out the Feng Country Army, his current body and avatar couldn’t exceed two hundred miles of separation; otherwise, the avatar would automatically return to his dreams, and he wouldn’t be able to use it as an anchor point for teleportation.

"My cultivation isn’t high enough yet. If I were two realms stronger, I could allocate part of my personal will to the avatar. Then even if we were far apart and not in contact, it could still send ssages by other ans."

The complex situation on the battlefield made Wang Zhifan aware of his shortcomings. Despite just having ventured out, he’d already encountered potential problems. After expanding his territory further in the future, he doubted whether he could maintain it. It seed he might have to keep dashing about like a firefighter, which made him realize that completing this campaign by relying solely on himself was not practical. He would need a cadre of capable subordinates.

"My King! The Terracotta Army has been completely annihilated!"

While Wang Zhifan was contemplating these potential future issues, the armored young commander galloped to his side on horseback, then dismounted to report that the battle was over.

"Hmm... What are the casualties among our soldiers? Still have the strength to continue?"

Wang Zhifan then locked eyes on him and spoke in a flat tone.

"Reporting to the King! Our army lost three n, and twenty-one were injured, all with minor wounds. We can continue marching!"

The young commander, observing Wang Zhifan’s indifferent expression, respectfully bowed in response, not daring to boast despite the minimal cost at which they annihilated the enemy. This was because he knew at least 90% of the victory was thanks to this young King before him, possibly even faster than if his own soldiers hadn’t intervened.

"Have the accompanying scribes docunt the feats of each soldier. The entire army will rest for half an hour before setting off."

Wang Zhifan’s expression revealed neither satisfaction nor dissatisfaction upon hearing this. He didn’t choose to continue the march but instead allowed his troops to rest, preserving their energy for upcoming battles.

This relates to his plans for the future. In subsequent battles, he decided to refrain from getting involved personally unless the situation was particularly critical or difficult. This would train his subordinates step by step in actual battle, and through practical experience, filter out a group of capable individuals to help him accomplish his future ambitions.
