Sitting in the chair, Wu Bin imdiately gave an answer, even though it reminded him of so unpleasant mories.

"The King of Feng Country is also a player? I’ve heard of this country a few tis recently... But I’ve heard it’s a weak little country, so I didn’t pay much attention."

The middle-aged man in plain clothes got the answer, raised his hand to rub his chin, with a thoughtful look in his eyes.

"Wu Brother, how did your match go? With shooting skills as impressive as yours, you must have kept him from even showing his face, right?"

The young bean sprout showed interest at this point and casually asked for more details.

"I don’t want to talk about that aspect."

Wu Bin imdiately shook his head, refusing to reveal more, and then reiterated the concern he had just raised:

"You all know that this dungeon has lifted restrictions on penalties. Is it dangerous if we really ally with that person from Huang Country? Could this invitation be a trap?"

"Ha... Wu Brother, how did you beco so timid after just a month away? Even if it’s a trap, don’t we have to go find out? Otherwise, just staying here doing nothing, waiting for the dungeon to target us?"

The blond young man couldn’t help but snicker at this point, feeling that this player—whom he rembered as having a tough deanor—seed to have gone through so kind of ntal change, appearing sowhat timid.

"Exactly! Old Wu, your spirit seems off, did a recent NPC girl you hit on dump you?"

The middle-aged man in plain clothes joined in teasing him, thinking the concerns he raised were not sothing a man should dwell on.

"Wu Brother, continue talking about that Feng Country player. If it’s possible, we’ll go to him. At least it’s a lot closer than heading to Huang Country."

The young bean sprout was the only one among them who didn’t tease Wu Bin. He was still very curious about the situation Wu Bin described with the opponent.

"Haha... You know, that guy from Feng Country wanted to bring more people to him when he let go."

At this point, Wu Bin smirked self-deprecatingly.

"But that person’s strength is ghostly strong; I don’t even want to stay near him for a second, because if he makes a move, I’m afraid I won’t even be able to escape."

He went on to describe his views on Wang Zhifan, the King of Feng Country, using a rather exaggerated description.

"What do you an, ghostly strong? Haven’t we fought ghosts before? Their strength isn’t all that, right? And you still have all your limbs; what’s there to be afraid of?"

The blond young man listened and was even more dismissive, thinking Wu Bin was just trying to scare people.

"I’m saying that soone’s strong is actually a good thing; it ans he’s a big support! If he’s as powerful as you say, we might as well go and check him out. Though Feng Country is said to be small, with our addition and so developnt, it’s possible to beco dominant against larger foes."

The middle-aged player in plain clothes grew more interested in the King of Feng Country after hearing Wu Bin’s praise, since their intention to ally with Huang Country was also to find strong support. As Huang Country was powerful but far away, a closer alternative interested them.

"Yes, Wu Brother, tell us more. If that person is capable, we’ll go to him, and as for your trap concerns, we can’t worry too much now. Just be cautious, and there won’t be major issues."

The young bean sprout insisted on Wu Bin continuing to talk about Wang Zhifan, not taking his reluctance seriously at all.

"I don’t want to say too much about that person. All I can say is, from what I know, he’s many tis stronger than all of us combined! Anyway, I don’t want to find him again. If you think he’s strong, you can go. The north is practically his territory now, and going to him might be your ticket to the first dungeon clear."

By this ti, Wu Bin was still unwilling to elaborate, still vaguely indicating Wang Zhifan’s strength was beyond their imagination. They might be right in seeking alliance, but he currently had no such intention.

"Haha! Listening to your boasting, I have to go see what he’s capable of! First, tell what his class is!"

The blond young man got a bit fired up by Wu Bin’s words, probably annoyed by the claim that soone was several tis stronger than everyone combined, so he decided to investigate personally.

"He could either be a Warrior, a Mage, or so kind of hybrid class. It’s definitely not a gunner or summoner, that’s for sure."

Wu Bin paid no attention to the blond’s attitude and, after thinking, gave his speculation.

"So what you an is that this person is strong in lee combat while also having high casting abilities? Then he’s indeed suitable for this dungeon, without the weakness of close-range and capable of wide-range extermination. He must be a good hand in battles... I propose we first scout out Feng Country in the north, and if the situation is suitable, we’ll support this player."

The middle-aged player in his thirties gave his opinion, as they were planning to seek backing from Huang Country, but the intel provided by Wu Bin offered a more accessible target, so they imdiately revised their short-term plans.

"Sounds good! I’ve never been to the north, and I might as well take this chance to explore!"

At this point, the young bean sprout also nodded. Despite his fragile appearance, he was surprisingly optimistic and confident, seemingly treating this dungeon like a sightseeing tour.

But faster than both of them was the blond young man, whose figure by this mont had already disappeared from the inn room.

A few seconds later, with everyone else having left the room, Wu Bin suddenly felt speechless. He had originally co here seeking help, but it seed like he ended up helping others instead.

"It’s fine if they want to test the waters... I’ll wait and see the situation before deciding further."

Thinking about it, he felt his current state wasn’t too bad. At least he had a reason to continue taking things easy.

At the sa ti, thousands of miles away in the royal palace of Feng Country’s companion capital, Wang Zhifan was listening to reports on the current progress of Feng Country’s campaign against Kui Country.

"Your Majesty! General Liou led the army yesterday to capture two cities of Kui Country and is advancing towards Kui City!"

"General Liou reports that Feng Baifu has recently slain many of Kui Country’s generals in battle and hopes that your Majesty will promote him to General!"

...

"Feng Baifu is the one called Feng Xian, right? Send word to them, my approval is granted."

Listening to the smooth progress of the campaign against Kui, which he did not personally manage, Wang Zhifan couldn’t help but feel delighted.

Originally, he was prepared to clean up whatever ss his subordinates might fail to handle. Unexpectedly, the General Liou he had saved turned out quite capable, not only daring to propose the campaign against Kui but also personally implenting it step by step. If he hadn’t recently sent a clone to confirm the situation, he might have thought they were deceiving him.

While Wang Zhifan continued to make progress, the far-off Southeast Huang Country was also experiencing a period of rapid developnt.

Since Huang Country already had a strong foundation as a major nation, its current king was also a powerful summoning class player, which made Huang Country’s military increasingly formidable and had already started consolidating control over its surrounding areas.

At this mont on the side of a vast city, tens of thousands of black artillery cars were spewing fla-laden iron balls, bombarding the city and turning it into a fiery chaos, with the defending troops unable to counterattack. If they tried to rush out, billions of insects would erge from underground, devouring them and releasing a poisonous mist that paralyzed them, preventing escape.

This artillery, far superior in range, firing rate, mobility, and power, was Huang Country’s strategic advantage. These terrifying insects were controlled by the player king of Huang Country, but he did not need to control them personally each ti; instead, he could use subterranean insect queens as proxies to command them.
