Wang Zhifan glanced calmly at the gray square box the young Asian scientist picked up, not stopping him from further contact research on this object.
Because he actually discovered this object earlier than the young man did, his intuition told him it was just a cold, dead object, fundantally no different from other things around.
Captain Jessica then used the micro-thrusters on her spacesuit to quickly approach the young scientist, took the small cubic creation from his hands, and started scanning it with her portable detector.
Complex three-dinsional graphics ford from lines of virtual and real soon appeared and continuously refreshed on the detector’s screen, seemingly drawing its internal structure, and Jessica, staring at the screen for just a second, called the young Black woman over the local comms network.
"Suzy! Co and take a look! This might be so kind of electronic device! We need your professional judgnt!"
Her words suggested that the reason this team of scientist explorers consisted of multiple people was to ensure that the team had a wide range of expertise to accurately assess the value of objects on-site.
The punk-style Black sister then maneuvered her slightly bulky spacesuit over, tilted her head to check the screen of the detector in Captain Jessica’s hand, and reached her conclusion in just a few seconds.
"This arrangent must be an artifact of intelligent civilization, but whether it’s a microchip or so kind of special precision equipnt, I’m not sure yet. It doesn’t match any chip architecture I know of. We need to take it back to the mothership for further research."
"Add this item to the samples. You guys look for other things. I’ll continue collecting data."
As soon as the Black sister confird the research value of the square box, Captain Jessica imdiately decided, then carefully placed the box into her backpack and continued with other tasks.
Wang Zhifan was arguably the most leisurely at the entire ruins site; he specifically stepped outside the area where the four scientists were working to avoid disturbing them, his gaze constantly roaming over the scientists searching intently, the clone soldiers paving the way on the outskirts, and the pitch-dark, quiet depths of the ruins.
