On the alien landscape at dusk, as the sky grew darker, everything that existed in this place, whether living or chanical bodies, even those giant conical buildings, gradually beca agitated.
Wang Zhifan sat in the driver’s seat of the survey vehicle. As soon as the clone soldier shooting outside received his command and returned to the vehicle, he imdiately started the engine, turned the car head toward a road beside the buildings, and sped off.
The alien creatures, originally suppressed by the clone soldiers’ gunfire, suddenly charged at the survey vehicle like a pack of wild dogs relentlessly chasing after the scent of grilled at.
And don’t assu that the creatures were only chasing from behind the survey vehicle. In fact, they were charging from all directions, including from inside the building they had just left. Although the number of creatures from other directions was temporarily smaller, the scene already looked very overwhelming.

But what happened next was entirely different from their expectations. They watched in disbelief as Wang Zhifan drove the survey vehicle smoothly out of the encirclent of monsters from all directions. Amazingly, they only collided with one chanical body that happened to block the road, and none of the other monsters, regardless of their type, touched the vehicle, allowing them to inexplicably and smoothly escape danger.
"What happened? Those things seed to stop suddenly... Mr. Wang, did you activate so interference device?"
The young scientist with yellow skin witnessed the strange occurrence and imdiately asked Wang Zhifan. He seed to observe that everything rushing toward the survey vehicle had slowed down, as if influenced by sothing on the vehicle, and then the car would "coincidentally" brush past them, leaving them behind.
"What device? It’s all due to the captain’s superb driving skills! It’s normal if you can’t understand it due to your level!"
Wang Zhifan couldn’t tell these people he was using the power of Ice Source to affect the surrounding creatures, so he began to fib, saying that everything was thanks to his phenonal driving skills.
"Is that so..."
The young scientist frowned at such an explanation, expressing doubt, but couldn’t think of a more reasonable explanation with his knowledge and understanding.
"Mr. Wang, we owe it to you this ti."
Jessica, who was in the front passenger seat, turned to thank Wang Zhifan as everyone took a deep breath.
"But I still can’t contact the spaceship. I suggest using flares to reach them."
She then offered a suggestion to Wang Zhifan.
"Okay, I rember this vehicle has a flare-launching function. I’ll execute when we get to a place with fewer monsters."
Wang Zhifan nodded slightly, keeping an eye on the monsters illuminated by the vehicle’s headlights while glancing at the dashboard to confirm which button was for launching flares.

But at that mont, a dull explosion suddenly sounded, and the whole vehicle lurched forward to the left! Almost overturning!
"A tire blew out?"
Wang Zhifan imdiately identified the problem and quickly stepped on the brakes to slow down. But he distinctly rembered that the vehicle’s tires were highly durable; the only possibility for such a sudden failure was soone sabotaging it!
"What happened!"
"Did we run over sothing?"
The scientists in the back, having just cald down after the recent ordeal, felt tense again, akin to riding a roller coaster.
But things didn’t end there. Within the next two seconds, they first heard two more explosions; the vehicle ca to a complete stop and then faintly heard a rumbling sound from the side, like a small mountain rolling closer!
Due to this series of sudden events, the passengers were so stunned they couldn’t even scream because they were bewildered, unsure how to respond — whether to abandon the vehicle and flee or stay and face their fate.
"Heh... soone’s stupid enough to pick a fight with ..."
Though slightly surprised, Wang Zhifan’s mind remained unruffled. He even felt a hint of boredom, without a trace of helplessness.
