In Wang Zhifan’s perception, it was a mysterious sphere only the size of a soccer ball. The mont the strange entity enveloping it shattered, the sphere seized the opportunity to dart out through a crack, then imdiately floated away, escaping at an astonishing speed.
"What is that thing?"
Wang Zhifan actually had the chance to cut down the unidentified object that rushed out with one strike, but his intuition told him that it might not be allied with the existence he just eliminated, so he chose not to act in that fleeting mont.
"Forget it, I need to focus on my task."
Glancing in the direction where the mysterious sphere fled, Wang Zhifan decided to turn back without giving it more attention because he had just used the Blade of Ti to eliminate the troubleso unknown entity. Now it was ti to deal with sothing behind him, so invisible figure attempting to ambush the exploration vehicle he was protecting.
"Everyone, don’t open the doors or windows! There’s sothing outside the vehicle lying in ambush for you!"
For the first ti, Wang Zhifan realized the benefit of wearing a heavy protective suit, which allowed him to communicate electronically with his companions at any ti via the equipnt in his helt. Even though there was significant noise in the communication for so unknown reason, they were not too far apart, and they could definitely hear each other.
"Okay...zz...be...zz...safe..."
A reply mixed with severe noise soon ca through the helt, but it was vaguely recognizable as Jessica’s voice.
"Luckily, the companions this ti are all very stable."
Seeing this, Wang Zhifan felt satisfied, quickening his pace as he returned to the stationary exploration vehicle while shifting his gaze to the other side of it.
In the direction he observed, there was an invisible presence hiding in the darkness. Considering the current situation, one could deduce that this person intended to act when the people in the exploration vehicle tried to escape. However, their concealnt was utterly apparent under Wang Zhifan’s formidable perception, like a light bulb in the dark.
Since his companions inside the vehicle were alerted and wouldn’t co out recklessly, Wang Zhifan chose not to rush over to deal with this wrongdoer. Instead, he pretended not to notice the other and acted as if he was going back into the vehicle.
His acting skills proved to be passable, as the invisible player outside the exploration vehicle, waiting like a hunter by a rabbit hole, did not imdiately see through his performance. First, he observed the interior of the vehicle through the window for a second, then only after noticing how unusually quiet it was did he choose to change his position to reassess the situation.
"Where’s that monster?"
The Assassin player felt very confused at this point. He went to the back of the exploration vehicle to observe the side where there was originally a strange monster attacking, but he couldn’t even hear a rumbling sound, nor see any trace of the massive existence that should be visible in his dark vision.
"Could it have been killed by that guy?"
This absurd conjecture popped into his mind because he clearly understood how difficult that creature was to deal with. It seed impossible for it to be completely eliminated during the brief mont he turned to observe the vehicle.
"He seems to be planning to return to the vehicle, so I might have a chance to eliminate them all..."
Amidst his confused doubts, he formulated a plan for his next move. If no one ca out from inside the vehicle, he’d wait for the mont soone outside went in to strike. Such an ambush suited his Assassin role perfectly.
Nonetheless, the strength of the opponent made him slightly hesitant. The sudden disappearance of the strange existence made him feel the situation was likely more complex, so perhaps leaving altogether was the more sensible choice.
Almost at the sa ti, two players observing the entire event from the top of a building several kiloters away had similar emotional turmoil. Their hearts were filled with a sense of shock.
"That monster was eliminated by him! Vanished in the blink of an eye!"
The gunman player removed his eyes from the sniper scope, nearly growling to the Mage player next to him.
"It’s indeed very incredible!"
The Mage player’s emotions were slightly more composed. The gleam in his eyes indicated he had used so Scouting Spell for distant observation.
"However, I’m more curious about that glowing weapon that appeared in his hand earlier. It must be a rare and above treasure..."
He continued, shifting his focus to the extraordinary blade used by Wang Zhifan, possibly believing that this super weapon, not Wang Zhifan’s personal strength, was the reason the creature they couldn’t handle was instantly defeated.
"That blade seems at least exemplary, possibly even Epic Layer... but why are you, a Mage, interested in it? Do you plan on making a move?"
The gunman agreed with the Mage’s assessnt, knowing the comnt was surely with intent.
"Hmm... if we could get such high-grade equipnt, even entering the Punishnt Level would be worth it."
The Mage player nodded with deep, contemplative eyes, seemingly brewing a plan to rob the treasure.
"It’s best to avoid the Punishnt Level if possible... but for exemplary equipnt, it might be worth the risk... Thinking this way, I should’ve shot him when he took out the weapon... but then others might benefit instead..."
At this point, the gunman player felt conflicted. He was confident he could easily finish off Wang Zhifan without considering the Punishnt Level, but the problem was that given the current distance, even if he killed him, there’s no guarantee he’d get the loot.
"It’s smart not to shoot; this kind of person likely has more good gear... The right move is to capture him or his companions and force them to hand over as much equipnt as possible... If you’re willing, we can join forces to plot this. That blade will be yours; I’ll have the first pick of the other valuables."
