Looking at the black iron, bronze, and gold keys in his hand, Wang Zhifan thought for a mont and decided not to bother with silver. Mainly, he felt that outstanding equipnt was pretty useful, and he was a bit reluctant to sacrifice it, as trading excellent gear for sothing unknown didn’t seem reliable.
"Having a gold key should be enough. I can follow those people to check the situation."
He then left this Sacrificial Plaza and personally headed in the direction those rcenaries had departed.
When he discreetly passed through a passage at the edge of the plaza, he quickly found that the rcenaries hadn’t gone far. They had already fallen into a new round of battle. However, this battle was smaller in scale than the previous sacrificial fight, with over ten people fighting against a few sticky, mud-like monsters, and the scene was sowhat nauseating.
"Mage! Fireball Technique!"
A rcenary wielding a sword and shield continuously blocked the black liquid being sprayed at him with his shield, while shouting for his companions’ support.
"The mana potion I drank hasn’t taken effect yet! Hang in there a bit longer!"
A robed rcenary behind him quickly responded.
"Everyone be careful not to step on the liquid on the ground! Archers, use Enchanted Arrows!"
The lead rcenary from before was also fighting while directing everyone to avoid potential dangers.
Wang Zhifan hid in the shadows observing their battle for a while and found the process a bit dull. The rcenaries had average strength, and those mud monsters were relatively weak. Although it was a small, simple battle, they took quite a long ti, possibly due to exhaustion from the previous fight at the Sacrificial Plaza.
"Why haven’t they encountered an upwards staircase along the way? Why are all the pathways horizontal?"
Finding the fight uninteresting, Wang Zhifan’s attention shifted to other things and he found this situation perplexing.
Later, he saw the rcenaries finally having finished off the mud monsters began to rest on the spot, with a few people searching through the remnants of the mud monsters, but judging by their expressions, it seed they found nothing valuable.

Unable to stand the dawdling actions of these people, Wang Zhifan left a clone to keep following them, while his main self returned to the third floor where he had encountered the phantom figures.
By this ti, a staircase leading to the fourth floor had already appeared here, and the staircase seed in normal condition, with no risk of collapse.

Upon erging from the top of the staircase, he was first hit by a wave of oppressive heat, followed by an eye full of fiery red color. It turned out to be a sea of lava with terrifyingly high temperatures!
Calling it a sea wasn’t quite accurate because even though the lava appeared extensive in area, he could vaguely see an opposite shore. The shore appeared normal and entirely rocky, thus calling it a lava river might be more appropriate.
Between the two banks above the lava, there were also several enormous rocks protruding above the lava. Each rock was at least thirty ters apart, but if you looked closely, you could see that the rocks extended from this riverbank to the other side, serving as natural stepping stones.
"Is this trial asking to figure out how to get past the obstruction of the lava river? But would just having this really be too simple..."
Wang Zhifan felt unfazed by such an environnt, not to ntion he possessed Epic Ice Source Power and had no fear of lava. Even without using his cold powers, he could easily leap past with lightweight skill, without needing to rely on the stepping stones deliberately set in the lava.
Suspecting the situation wasn’t so simple, he shifted his attention to the rolling, dazzling surface of the lava and spent a little effort to notice the hidden difficulty within.
"I wondered, so there are tricks inside the lava... and the monsters in there seem to be quite large?"
The scorching lava greatly hindered the perception of internal probing, but Wang Zhifan’s sensory perception was extrely powerful, allowing him to acutely capture so traces.

Thus, after a bit of deliberation, Wang Zhifan suddenly took a step and soared into the air, crossing above the lava sea with astonishing speed!
However, he didn’t use lightweight skill to cross the lava sea but instead started flying in circles around the lava region below, giving an impression that wouldn’t feel comfortable unless he fell into the lava.
In the first few seconds of him stepping into the air circles, there was no abnormality from the lava sea below. But after a bit more ti, a gigantic rise like a building suddenly appeared in the lava, growing higher and larger, and within seconds, it revealed itself as a massive, entirely fiery red-winged lizard, an actual dragon!
"Roar!!!"
The dragon surged out of the lava sea, revealing a mountain-like colossal body. As it spread its even more enormous and broad wings, countless remnants of lava dripped from its fiery red scales. The combination of its upward roaring was enough to intimidate all life in the world, but Wang Zhifan was not among them.
