As this player desperately attracted the surrounding firepower, one of his companions, a Black gunman dressed in black, was secretly and efficiently eliminating the enemies.

Due to his skin tone advantage and attire, the Black man was almost in an invisible state at night. His agile body technique and silenced pistol allowed him to attack without drawing attention, taking down an NPC in a tal shack with every second that passed, precision unparalleled.

Another white male, however, adopted a more sinister combat style. His actual body had already hidden secretly underground by so ans, only occasionally erging to observe the situation, relying mostly on controlling hundreds of tiny mosquitoes to attack the enemies.

The flight speed of his summoned creatures was ten tis that of ordinary mosquitoes, and they flew silently. Once any of them successfully bit an enemy, that enemy would be poisoned and die within seconds, a lethality deed the best among the four.

The only white female among the four, by contrast, displayed the most straightforward and brutal combat style. Seemingly a lee profession, she wielded two axes, moving like the wind, wearing heavy armor with solid defensive capabilities. As long as the firepower wasn’t too concentrated, she would charge directly, facing bullets to hack enemies into chunks, her strong physique adding more might than the three male players.

The indigenous people of the settlent, faced with the powerful assault from the four, showed great tenacity. Even as people fell and died consecutively, not a single one chose to surrender or flee, continuing to launch attacks in their way.

But tenacity was all they had to show, as up to now, none had managed to cause effective harm to any of the players, tilting the victory scale increasingly towards the side with fewer people.

"Ah! Damn outsiders! I’ll tear you to pieces!"

Just then, on a tin roof, a white indigenous youth suddenly appeared. His muscles bulged, suddenly leaping from the roof, flying towards the frail white player on the ground, still spouting trash talk, dozens of ters away.

His jumping ability was so extraordinary, like a high-powered spring full of power, crashing down in the state of a miniature muscle giant towards the glowing white Mage below.

At this mont, the concentrated firepower originally targeting the white Mage abruptly ceased, seemingly to avoid friendly fire, while the white Mage’s arrogant deanor shifted into grim seriousness as the muscle giant descended upon him.

"My Taunt Skill’s been cleared! There must be soone else using ans!"

It dawned on him that his true adversary wasn’t the muscle indigenous youth attacking from above, but soone else entirely!

"Everyone, be careful! The enemy’s got reinforcents!"

He swiftly cast an Acceleration Skill to deftly evade the muscle youth descending from the sky, still loudly alerting his companions to the changes in the situation.

Then, with his Mage’s keen perception, he quickly discovered his two companions were in trouble.

Specifically, in a dark corner, the Black gunman, who was showing an expression of pain and squatted in place, seed almost ready to drop his guns and roll on the ground, while inside a tal shack, the once valiant white female warrior was sweating on her brow, eyes dazed, struggling to stand firm.

"Soone launched a ntal attack!"

The frail white Mage imdiately made his judgnt.

He realized why only these two companions were affected, while the mosquito-controlling summoner companion was largely unaffected.

Because both the summoner and his profession Mage are magic-oriented professions, their growth paths have consistently increased their Spirit attributes, giving them a significant advantage against ntal attacks.

But the gunman and warrior professions don’t increase Spirit attributes in their growth paths unless players compensate in other ways, making them susceptible to ntal attacks.

This was why they were targeted first, as the softest targets ripen for picking!

"Spiritual Defense Skill!"

Amidst the sudden change in situation, the frail white Mage imdiately used the corresponding magic to remotely support his teammates, helping the Black gunman and white female warrior quickly recover from their adverse states, just in ti to repel so indigenes who sought to take advantage.

Don’t assu that removing the penalty in this scenario would drive players into frenzied infighting; that only occurs among inherently hostile player groups.

For true veteran players, a few fixed powerful teammates are more valuable than anything else. They don’t want their companions to die unless absolutely necessary, as that would greatly reduce their future chances of clearing the scenario.

"I’ve found him, leave it to ."

Then the white Mage heard a tiny voice in his ear, as a mosquito landed and flew away. It was his summoner companion using the summoned insects to relay the ssage.

"Of course, you handle it, I’m currently being chased..."

The frail white Mage inwardly sighed, then used a second Acceleration Skill to avoid the muscle youth who once again chased to his face while preparing lethal magic for the ferocious enemy.

"Dissociation Skill!"

Suddenly, a phantom grey light emanated from the Magic Staff that appeared in his hand at so point, following a straight trajectory towards the muscle youth chasing him. This magic bore a powerful destructive characteristic; if it hit and the target failed to save, they’d decompose into tiny fragnts, achieving an instant kill effect.

But just when this white player thought his enemy was dood, sothing unexpected occurred.

The beam of Dissociation Skill that should have hit the enemy directly took a bizarre 180-degree turn in front of the muscle youth, reflecting back towards him!

"?!"

This terrifying change gave him an overwhelming sense of impending doom, as the Dissociation Skill light was so swift, he couldn’t respond in ti.

Bang!

Next, the white robe on this white youth instantly turned into fine dust, revealing another set of clothes underneath, though he himself remained unhard.

"I survived...but my Invisible Mage Robe..."

He imdiately recalled that this equipnt had an effect of blocking one powerful attack, but it was a one-ti chance. Simply put, he survived for now but lost a precious piece of gear.

"I must kill you!"

The white Mage was instantly furious, still under the effect of Acceleration Skill, allowing him to outpace the enemy trying to catch him. Raising his hand to cast a spell to tackle the opponent, he recalled the bizarre magic reflection and halted his impulse, supplenting himself with a Physical Defense Skill and continuing his escape.

"These indigenes have issues! They must have special abilities!"

He firmly believed this was the case now.

After encountering attacks inconsistent with the current scenario world’s view, he realized this world was not a simple sci-fi wasteland type.

In fact, parts of the monsters they encountered in the desert were hints, but seeing the indigenous people’s ordinary appearances, they dismissed such possibilities, never expecting such tenacious adversaries, and this was just the beginning of the scenario.

anwhile, when the battle between the four foreign players and the indigenes faced so hurdles, a yellow-skinned man wearing glasses and a white lab coat hovered in the darkened skies of the area, overseeing everything below with a smile.

"Another batch of outsiders has appeared...this ti I must capture them alive and uncover the secrets they hold!"
