Su Changxing pretended not to see it.
Elba said stiffly, "I am not familiar with him."
Zhu Xin Xue opened her mouth wide in surprise and said, "Did my master forcibly drag you here to be a maid?"
Elba nodded, her face indifferent, "Sothing like that."
Zhu Xin Xue found Elba’s reaction strange and said with clenched fists, "So you’ve compromised? You should rise up and resist, at least aim to beco the second mistress!"
Elba fell silent again: "..."
She realized that she was on a completely different wavelength from this little girl.
Su Changxing and Zhou An made their way to the Security Bureau’s base, where dozens of robots ard with laser cannons stood guard at the gate.
One of the robots saw Su Changxing, turned its head, and its eyes glowed red while saying in a synthetic voice:
"Long ti no see, sir."
Su Changxing waved in response, "Long ti no see, T3."
The majority of the robot army is currently following Team One, so T3, being the brain of the robot army, is also with them.
T3, being a high-level robot, had quite strong learning capabilities. Although it was not a combat-type robot, the coordination and actions of the entire robot army have beco seamless by now.
Even now, if the unit with two to three hundred Extraordinary individuals fought these robots, a certain victory couldn’t be guaranteed.
A perfect battle plan, perfect command, and perfect coordination can unleash trendous power.
Moreover, these robots are fearless, whereas humans experience fear.
However, Team One has a lot of room for improvent, and more people will beco Extraordinary over ti, with each person enhancing their power.
But the robot army is constrained by material limitations; their numbers and levels cannot be increased.
"Sir, we are developing a highly powerful single-soldier laser cannon that might soon be ready for deploynt," T3 continued.
"Single-soldier laser cannon?" Su Changxing recalled that he had previously asked T3 to find ways to enhance combat power.
The robot extended one hand and projected a 3D hologram displaying a laser cannon, white and resembling a bazooka. "This concept was proposed by Captain Zhu Wenwu, and we built it."
"Each firing requires a Tier Nine Crystal, and though it could be made reloadable, considering costs and battlefield situations, this laser cannon is designed to be a single-load, disposable weapon."
Su Changxing was montarily stunned and asked, "Zhu Wenwu proposed this?"
T3 continued in a chanical voice, "Yes, Captain Zhu provided the wizard’s body structure and the energy’s operational principles. This laser cannon is specifically designed to target wizards, capable of causing maximum damage to their bodies."
Wizards have formidable life force; even if their heads are chopped off, they can survive. Ordinary ans usually cannot cause significant damage even if they hit.
Su Changxing showed a look of surprise: "How many of these laser cannons can be manufactured? If many could be produced, it might prove useful. What are the usage requirents?"
A design diagram and various data were displayed on the robot’s arm. "This laser cannon, nad W100, has trendous recoil and requires soldiers with at least two power enhancents to use."
"As long as there are enough Tier Nine Crystals, we can produce a large number of W100s. As for the Tier Nine Crystals, we can obtain them from those monsters."
Su Changxing realized this weapon might be a decisive turning point in the war, and then asked, "Is there a prototype? I’d like to try it."
T3 calmly said, "Not yet, but it can be created soon. Do you need one, sir?"
Su Changxing nodded, "Let’s see it."
Zhou An, standing by, also looked delighted and said, "With this, can’t we blow those wizards away? Although our individual strength is not as great as theirs, we have numbers on our side."
Su Changxing glanced at him, smiled, and said, "Not necessarily. Whether we can hit them is still a problem. You’re aware of those wizards’ tricks."
Zhou An pondered and said, "Those wizards’ fighting style is similar to mine. Although they are physically strong, they are not good at dodging and tend to stand and attack."
Su Changxing and Zhou An walked inside with the robot, continuing to say, "They are divided into many factions, each with different combat styles, so we shouldn’t generalize. I’ve seen wizards who engaged in close combat wielding a hamr."
Zhou An listened thoughtfully and replied, "Really? I thought they only stood at a distance casting spells."
The W100’s parts had already been manufactured, and T3 needed only to assemble them.
A laser cannon, white overall and wrapped with more than ten small crystal conduits, was assembled inside T3’s body.
Su Changxing held it in his hands, felt the weight, which was lighter than expected—a full-grown person carrying it would have no problems.
T3 reminded, "The W100 has substantial recoil, and it can be precisely aid using a mirror with sight assistance."
Su Changxing nodded, standing on the roof, shouldered it, aid at the distant mountains, and pulled the trigger.
A significant shockwave ca, creating a burst of air currents around, dislodging soil and rocks from the mountains, igniting nearby trees in fierce flas upon an energy-volatile explosion.
The power indeed was substantial.
Su Changxing had a puzzled expression, realizing that his ability couldn’t be directly enhanced on the laser cannon; the power caused was solely from the laser cannon itself.
He estimated that the W100 was designed based on channeling mysterious forces, separating his ability, hence it couldn’t be directly enhanced.
In other words, it equates to a Tier Nine Extraordinary instantly channeling all their power for a single strike.
Hence, the power of such a laser cannon hinges on the crystal’s quality; however, T3’s design could at most withstand the power of a Tier Nine Crystal.
It’s feasible!
Su Changxing quickly concluded in his heart that this weapon certainly possesses the power to turn the tide of war, as long as there’s a sufficient quantity.
It allows Tier Nine Extraordinary individuals to pose a significant threat to wizards, similarly effective against those soldiers dealing with wizards.
They belong to the sa power system, but those soldiers focus more on physical power application, which is simpler, with a higher cost-effective advantage.
The military has always pursued cost-effectiveness, achieving maximum efficiency with minimal cost.
The existence of the W100 aligns with this philosophy.
After firing once, the crystal conduits on the laser cannon barrel showed cracks, with so parts falling off.
"Used and discarded laser cannons can still be recycled and reused," T3 added.
Su Changxing smiled and said, "You’ve thought of everything."
T3 replied with respectful tones, "Sir, this is my duty. According to your plan, we can manufacture at least five thousand laser cannons."
"The only issue is ensuring we reserve enough Tier Nine Crystals, then those laser cannons can be reused without waste."
Su Changxing handed the laser cannon back to T3, nodded, and said, "Alright, then prepare for mass production right here."
"Yes, sir."
