They proceeded along the mountain path towards the north, occasionally spotting Burrow Monsters roaming around.
However, Zong Shen did not order an attack, instead maintaining full speed ahead.
Ti spent on the journey is indeed precious.
He led his soldiers, utilizing their mounts’ speed, swiftly passing by those Burrow Monsters.
Leaving those sluggish Burrow Monsters far behind.
Each area has a thousand burrows, and each day can refresh two to 2.4 million Burrow Monsters.
With Zong Shen’s current military strength, even if mobilized entirely, they could only eliminate a small portion despite continuous battles day and night.
He couldn’t possibly abandon normal exploration just to kill Burrow Monsters.
After trekking for over an hour, making several detours along the way, Zong Shen arrived once again at the mountain path leading to the Temple that he discovered last ti.
This ti, the soldiers he brought were more than ten tis the number from last ti!
This mountain path was wider and smoother than the one leading to the Azshara Mountain Fortress.
As long as they didn’t veer into the side forest, both horses and Pigsy could climb up smoothly.
Korby was here for the third ti already.
The first was an exploration on the day of arrival, the second accompanying Zong Shen to the hidden Temple by the mountain, and the third being this ti.
He went from being Zong Shen’s first Wolf Rider to commanding Zong Shen’s entire Wolf Rider Squad.
This made him thankful for having encountered a good Lord.
Korby led the reconstituted Wolf Rider Squad, leading the way while Zong Shen and his soldiers followed behind.
The journey uphill was smooth, occasionally encountering Burrow Monsters also climbing the mountain.
All dealt with by the long-range units, allowing them to pass before the Plague area erupted.
Though the strong soldiers could generally resist a Basic level Plague, it was still best to minimize contact just in case.
With the Wolf Cavalry clearing the way, they quickly reached the vicinity of the mountain’s midpoint.
From here, they could see a towering Sentry Tower near the summit.
The entire tower was dilapidated, covered with large climbing vines, resembling a green cloak.
Beneath the Sentry Tower was a guard post surrounded by high walls.
The area was not small, and all buildings were well-maintained.
"Luna, Korby, Aisha, co with up first."
"Everyone else, wait here."
"If you hear a wolf’s howl, co up to support."
Zong Shen stopped there, deciding to take only Luna, Korby, and Aisha, who could Summon Holy Spirit, up the mountain to check out what those Traveling rchants were up to.
The rest of the soldiers were stationed at the mountain’s midpoint for backup, ready for quick support without alarming the enemy.
Feigned weakness was the best way to probe the opponent’s genuine strength; Zong Shen had already decided that if the Goblin rchant’s prices were fair, they would conduct a normal Trade.
If the opponent resorted to trickery, then they couldn’t bla him, Zong, for using so tactics.
Zong Shen walked with the three warriors to continue climbing the mountain.
He deliberately slowed his Speed, taking ten minutes to reach the guard post’s entrance. A black Mynah perched on a branch nearby took flight.
"Honored guests arriving! Honored guests arriving!"
Flapping as it flew into the guard post’s yard, it chanted in a cryptic voice.
"Boom!"
"Clang!"
"Bang!"
From the guard post’s yard ca a clatter of sounds.
"You brat, why panic? That’s precious Icefield Copper Artifacts!"
"Hurry up and see who’s coming!"
A loud voice scolded angrily.
Soon, a short Green-skinned Goblin, carrying a basket, ran out, his eyes lighting up upon seeing Zong Shen.
"My goodness! You are so tall!"
"Are you a passing traveler or here to buy sothing?"
"I think you must be one of our potential custors!"
"We at Thistle Teeth Trading Company are only stationed here for three more days; after that, we’re heading to Lentax Giant City!"
This little goblin was lively around Zong Shen, every goblin being a chatterbox.
Zong Shen raised an eyebrow and pointed with his chin towards the guard post yard.
"Show your goods."
The little goblin grew even more excited and trotted ahead happily.
"Ti is money, my lord, please follow !"
"Goblin products, absolutely astonishing!"
The basket-carrying little goblin deftly led the way, chattering all the while; truly a natural-born chatterbox!
"Uncle Boswell, we have business!"
He shouted loudly, leading Zong Shen into the guard post yard.
Upon entering the courtyard, Zong Shen was astounded by the sight before him.
The guard post’s yard was piled with a large number of Supply Boxes.
And various strange tal machines.
These items occupied nearly the entire yard.
Dozens of basket-carrying goblins busily worked among them, organizing.
An elder goblin, responding to the call, poked his head out from the stacks of items.
Upon seeing Zong Shen and his companions, his eyes lit up.
Then he rode out in a uniquely shaped, square-bodied Magic Energy cha.
That Magic Energy cha had a broad chassis and shoulders, stood over six ters tall and was three to four ters wide at its broadest point, resembling a moving large box.
The older goblin’s large green nose was conspicuous against his lone monocle adorned big ears, an ugly sight.
He wore a gold-striped Beret atop his head, its top inlaid with a ridiculously large Sapphire, draped in a luxurious fur Cloak that looked like a blanket against his stature.
"Greetings, my lord! Welco to our Thistle Teeth Trading Company’s rchant Camp!"
"I’m sure we have what you need!"
The older goblin boasted to Zong Shen.
Controlling the Magic Energy cha’s chanical arm, he directly pulled open the cha’s chest, as if opening a cabinet.
Zong Shen finally understood why the Magic Energy cha had such a peculiar design.
Because the cha was essentially a mobile shelf.
Upon opening, the inside was divided into five layers, each displaying different items, though the cargo hold contained mostly small objects, many of which Zong Shen had never seen before.
Zong Shen casually pointed to sothing holding pink liquid, looking like pink perfu, and curiously asked.
"What’s this?"
The elderly goblin raised an eyebrow, smiling as he discerned this guy was a complete novice!
He decided to give Zong Shen’s wallet a proper slimming!
"My goodness, your taste is impeccable!"
"This is a fine treasure!"
"We call it the Pink Kiss, though it’s nicknad Fierce Sweetheart..."
