Now reading: Chapter 204: Scattered Kobolds and the Equipment Storage Roo from Global Lords: I Have Information System, a Game novel by Chinese Blacksmith.

This back and forth took over half an hour.

Zong Shen returned to the right-side mining area once more. The three or four hundred Spider Web Monsters in the dormitory area of this mining site had already been completely dismbered.

The useful materials were sorted and stacked into categories.

The remaining corpses were all thrown into the dried-up blood pool, waiting for complete dismbernt, after which they would be uniformly incinerated to prevent the spread of plagues.

Now the warriors began to dismber the Spider Web Monsters in the office area, and Zong Shen gathered all the materials.

He obtained a total of 437 Blade Legs, 317 Shells, 362 Poison Sacs, and 37 pieces of Tenacious Spider Web, all excellent forging materials. The Blade Legs could be made into swords, the Shells into light armor, and the Poison Sacs were a common special material that could be used in dicine making or poisoned weapons.

After collecting the materials from the dismbered Spider Web Monsters in the dormitory area, Zong Shen followed the mine path back to the office area, took out the Royal Guard Battle Sword, and temporarily joined in the dissection.

The Spider Web Monster was considered a semi-human creature, with the upper body being humanoid and the lower body spider-like, so dismbering them was a test of one’s ntal fortitude. Fortunately, most of the main materials were found in the spider-like lower body.

Even so, Zong Shen retched several tis during the dissection, reminiscing about how easy and convenient the one-click dismbernt was before, without being disgusting.

Now this dismbernt was genuinely too cumberso and bloody. The air was filled with the foul-slling fluids of the Spider Web Monsters, with yellow and green liquids flowing everywhere.

After spending more than another half hour, the Spider Web Monsters in the office area were completely dismbered, and the materials were concentrated and piled onto the vacant space where the spider eggs had been.

Zong Shen first went to the dormitory area to ignite the collected corpses in the blood pool, then returned to the office area to ignite the corpses there. If so many bodies weren’t handled, the entire mine would be filled with the stench of decay for the next month or two, easily breeding bacteria and diseases, and potentially attracting so carrion-eating monsters, so they needed to be uniformly burned.

After everything was processed, it was already close to two in the afternoon.

Now the rune key to the warehouses and gates of the left-side mining area had been obtained, and the Spider Web Monster race had been defeated by him. Everything was ready; it was ti to set off and start harvesting!

"Let’s go, we’re going to explore the left-side mining area."

"Proceed according to the previous formation, with the Wolf Cavalry and Gun-Shield Spear Warriors leading the charge."

At Zong Shen’s command, the warriors proceeded to return along the original mine path they had co from, passed through the mine tunnel back to the first mining hall, and then directly turned left into the left-side mine tunnel.

This side of the mine tunnel had significantly fewer traces of Spider Web Monsters than the right side. However, the bones and dismbered limbs piled on both sides of the tunnel were still nurous, as this was one of the daily hunting grounds of the Spider Web Monsters.

After advancing for five or six minutes along the left mine tunnel, the path opened up into a larger, more spacious mine tunnel.

On the right side of this mine tunnel, there was an entrance to a branch tunnel at intervals, each leading to a different area. According to the previous strategy guide, the first entrance led to the equipnt warehouse of this mining area, which still contained two undamaged Mining Type II Magic Energy Puppets and so quality mining pickaxes.

"Enter the first entrance, set one of the Magic Power Flashlights to a brightness level of three."

"Be mindful of whether there are traces left by kobolds nearby,"

Zong Shen instructed again. This tunnel was spacious, at least a hundred ters high and dozens of ters wide, with massive steel beams framing the ceiling and sides. Most of the fraworks were still intact, inscribed with runes, though so beams had deteriorated, proving even powerful magic runes have a day they cease functioning.

Under his direction, the team entered the first entrance, each entrance being a slightly smaller branch tunnel. After advancing several dozen ters, faint breathing sounds ca from ahead.

The Giant Wolves beca agitated, sniffing forward continuously, as if they had discovered sothing.

Zong Shen shone the Magic Power Flashlight forward intentionally, the recess ford by the steel beams ahead revealing several shadows.

"Korby, take a group to go have a look."

Zong Shen gestured toward the recess.

Upon hearing his words, Korby promptly gathered several underlings to take the order and go.

"Wow wow!"

"Jibber jabber!"

Soon, the Wolf Riders dragged out seven or eight ragged kobolds, one per hand.

They were thrown at Zong Shen’s feet, awaiting disposition.

These kobolds were all injured, their faces covered in fine scales expressing fear, yapping chaotically.

There wasn’t a single kobold prophet among them capable of speaking human language, so Zong Shen couldn’t communicate with them.

These poor guys seed to be the stragglers surviving the sweep of the Spider Web Monster Lord’s raids. It was uncertain how many kobolds remained of the Dogman Tribe.

Many kobolds had been captured, decapitated, and drained by the Spider Web Monsters. Others were used as food. The entire Dogman Tribe must have completely dissolved, and now, it was necessary to gather these scattered kobolds while exploring to stock manpower for future mining.

Zong Shen tossed out three lengths of hemp rope, ordering Korby to bind the kobolds’ hands. Their fate would be decided once they were taken back to the territory.

"Continue advancing."

"It seems like we’re approaching the end of this branch tunnel."

Zong Shen directed Carlos, the Goblin Ripper driver, to lead the kobolds to the back of the group.

He himself shone the Magic Power Flashlight directly into the depths of the mine tunnel.

Less than a hundred ters ahead lay the tunnel’s end, where a rune gate ten ters high and six to seven ters wide awaited under the mine wall.

This was the destination of the branch tunnel—the equipnt warehouse of the mining area.

Inside were so tools and equipnt used for mining, all of which would beco Zong Shen’s resources.

The group continued forward, trailing a string of Kobolds behind them.

Soon, they arrived at the entrance of the equipnt storeroom.

The Rune Gate had corresponding symbols and badges. Zong Shen flipped through his Rune Keys, searching for the one with the sa symbol, and quickly found it.

He inserted the Rune Key into the keyhole of the gate. The glow of magic lit up, and the runes began to surge.

"Pa! Ka!"

After two soft clicks, the gate opened from the middle. Zong Shen reached out and pushed open the thick door, a cloud of dust billowing out with the airflow from the outside.

The storeroom, sealed for tens of thousands of years, was finally reopened.

Once the airflow stabilized and the dust settled, the group entered the storeroom.

The storeroom was vast, spanning thousands of square ters. Row upon row of wooden crates and toppled tal shelves spoke to the abundance of supplies once stored there.

Inside each wooden crate were dozens of mining pickaxes, and there were dozens of boxes in total.

Apart from that, most of the warehouse’s materials had been moved, with the few remaining items almost completely decayed.

As far as the eye could see, it seed that only the Refined Level mining pickaxes inside the boxes were preserved.

Thankfully, the group also discovered two dium-sized Magic Energy Puppets wrapped in oilcloth in the corner of the storeroom.

Zong Shen first collected the mining pickaxes, totaling 2767 Refined Level pickaxes, ensuring that for a long ti, there would be no need to manufacture any more pickaxes in the territory.

[Black Iron Pickaxe (Green)]

[Quality: Refined Level]

[Durability: 300]

[Blunt Damage: 23~36]

[Passive Effect: Increases excavation efficiency by 10%, rock-breaking effect by 10%, rare ore production rate by 3%]

(A mining pickaxe forged by the Black Iron Dwarf Tribe, cost-effective and a must-have tool for mining)

These pickaxes were the standard equipnt for miners back then. Their mining efficiency was excellent, made using the ancient forging techniques of the Black Iron Dwarf Race. High durability with additional auxiliary benefits to enhance miners’ extraction efficiency.

With over two thousand pickaxes stacked, they occupied three storage grids. Next, Zong Shen moved to the storeroom’s corner and tore open the oilcloth covering the Magic Energy Puppets.

The oilcloth was wrapped in several layers, with a layer of solidified grease covering the outside.

Well, at least in such a large storeroom, these were the only treasures left.

Zong Shen tore open the oilcloth; the first layer had decayed and shattered at the slightest touch.

Fortunately, the subsequent layers of oilcloth were still intact. Once all the oilcloth was undone, the Magic Energy Puppets’ bodies were finally unveiled.

Thanks to being wrapped in oilcloth and sealed with grease, both Magic Energy Puppets were undamaged by the passage of ti. The two puppets stood about two ters tall.

One arm was fitted with a screw drill approximately one ter long, while the other arm had a tal excavation bucket, indicating that these two puppets were also for mining purposes.

Magic Energy Puppets and Magic Energy chas belong to the category of Magic Energy chanisms. The key difference is that Magic Energy Puppets cannot be piloted; they accomplish tasks via built-in magic energy command elents, while Magic Energy chas require a pilot to control. This is the primary distinction between the two.

Zong Shen gently caressed the tallic body of the puppet, and the attributes of the two Magic Energy Puppets began to appear before his eyes.

[Type II Mining Magic Energy Puppet (Green)]

[Quality: Refined Level]

[Piercing Damage: 61~64]

[Durability Value: 1000]

[Armor Value: 35]

[Magic Resistance: 20]

[Magic Energy: 0/5000]

[Magic Energy Consumption per Second: 0.04]

[Durability: 530]

[Skills: Drilling (uses drill to perform drilling operations on rock walls, increases magic energy consumption by 0.05 per second)

Excavation (uses tal bucket to excavate ore, increases magic energy consumption by 0.05 per second)]

(Support Magic Energy Puppet, capable of aiding in excavating ores and drilling sturdy rock walls, while also possessing so combat abilities)

This thing is similar to the Tearer cha, capable of both combat and auxiliary use in magic energy machinery.

However, the magic energy consumption is evidently greater than that of the Goblin’s Magic Energy cha, indicating that each race’s approach to magic energy technology differs.

Each has its own developnt characteristics; even with the sa technology, the developnt progress and tendencies differ among races.
