Travel platforms like Ctrip ntioned in the product introduction that the Chuansi River cruise ship is a completely enclosed high-speed vessel which operates from 19:00 to 20:30 throughout the year, but due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, it has suspended operations.

According to Extre Eye News, videos taken by tourists on board revealed that very few were wearing masks during the tour. As per the "Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 for Passenger Ships (V6.0)" issued by the Ministry of Transport, it is suggested that passenger ships in dium to high-risk areas should have natural ventilation and in low-risk areas, it should depend on the weather and temperature; the closed central air conditioning system (internal circulation) should be disabled in dium to high-risk areas, while in low-risk areas it can be used according to circumstances; the mask compliance rate among crew and passengers on passenger ships should be 100%.

Red Star News reporters noted that as of now, so details about the Chuansi River No. 3 cruise ship are still unclear, such as the number of passengers on that trip and where they ca from. According to a report by Beijing News on July 30, a passenger who had been on the ship and was an asymptomatic carrier, Ms. Shen, revealed that the trip lasted about 60 minutes, and the ship had a completely transparent glass-enclosed cabin.

The owner of a travel agency along the Chuansi River told Red Star News reporters that during the days when an infected person was found in Changde, they suspended their agency's operations. "Now, because there really isn't much business due to the pandemic, staying at ho seems a bit safer."

On July 30, the Changde City COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command released an announcent stating that Changde City's pandemic prevention was shifting from regular control to ergency status. The announcent required that from July 30 onwards, all personnel within Changde should not leave without necessity, and for those coming from dium to high-risk areas, strict control asures such as centralized isolation should be strictly implented. The announcent also required all tourist attractions, scenic spots, amusent places, indoor enclosed entertainnt venues, cinemas, religious places, and other crowd-gathering venues in Changde to suspend opening.

The announcent required strict implentation of grid managent asures, with 24-hour entry and exit monitoring at all governnt offices, enterprises, villages, communities, and unit entrances, along with strict health monitoring, intensified personnel screening, and implentation of pandemic control asures. Entry and exit personnel must consciously comply with checking the "two codes", taking temperature, wearing masks, and other control asures.

Chuansi River cruise ships may pose a high-risk space, and personal protection should be taken seriously when traveling.

On June 25, Zhong Nanshan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Diseases, stated in an interview with CCTV reporters that regarding the Delta variant, the definition of close contacts must change. Because the viral load of the Delta strain is high, the exhaled air is very toxic and highly contagious. Anyone residing in the sa space, unit, building, or on the sa floor and being with these patients four days before the onset is a close contact.

In this regard, Hong Kong University virology professor Jin Dongyan told Red Star News reporters that from the Wuhan pandemic period to the current Delta variant, the characteristic of the coronavirus has not changed— not every infected person can spread it, only so individuals are particularly infectious.

"The Chuansi River cruise ship is a relatively enclosed space, and although there might be so river breeze passing by, overall, the air exchange is undoubtedly insufficient," Jin Dongyan elaborated, indicating that in such enclosed spaces, if the passenger quantity is large and they are close contacts, it becos a high-risk area, prone to causing super spreading events.

Wang Guangfa, director of the Departnt of Respiratory dicine at Peking University First Hospital, ntioned to Red Star News reporters that currently, it has been observed that Delta variant carriers have a high viral shedding, so their infectivity is quite strong. "This outbreak mainly originated from Southeast Asia, and the Southeast Asia region is currently warm or even hot; however, the pandemic situation remains severe." Wang Guangfa explained that from last year's pandemic experience, although sumr was severe too, the fall and winter seasons could beco more severe. The concern now is whether the Delta variant may beco more active during the fall and winter seasons. If so, everyone should make ntal preparations in advance.

Wang Guangfa pointed out that experience from the Wuhan outbreak showed that asures to control the source of infection and cut off transmission routes were very successful control thods. Now, with the rapid vaccination of the COVID-19 vaccine, people should certainly get vaccinated as soon as possible, but this doesn't an that everything is all right with vaccine administration; social control asures should still be strengthened.

Red Star News reporters noted that both Zhangjiajie and Changde's Chuansi River cruise ships are relatively crowded tourist spots or facilities, yet it is currently sumr vacation, when children and even parents have the intention to travel — should they then control outbound travel or even halt travel plans?

Wang Guangfa believes that if the destination hasn't encountered an outbreak, traveling is still possible, especially if the travel destination is outdoors, as transmission opportunities are comparatively slim. Though, everyone should pay attention to protective asures, like wearing masks in enclosed spaces and maintaining social distance during als.

"However, in locales like Zhangjiajie or Changde's Chuansi River where there has been transmission, the sites should be temporarily closed to sort out conflicts and issues, and block control loopholes. Once the epidemic is under control and after a certain ti, we should reopen as soon as possible." Wang Guangfa stated, the key is to strike a balance between epidemic control and normal societal operations, with balance achieved through precise assessnt and control.

Jin Dongyan suggested that through the epidemic transmission cases in Zhangjiajie and Changde's Chuansi River cruises, hope is to alert the public to continue maintaining social distance, especially paying attention to wearing masks and hand washing.

"Nationally speaking, the current case numbers are relatively low, and geographically they still belong to multiple localized cluster outbreaks, so I hope everyone doesn't beco overly anxious but should maintain adequate vigilance."

We will spend four years living in an unfamiliar university, and the first issue is solving the accommodation problem. Each school is equipped with a student dormitory, and choosing a suitable bed is very important, considering we will live there for four years.

There is a considerable amount to learn in choosing a bed, as many senior students note that not getting a good bed in the first year could lead to four years of regret.

In many high schools, the school arranges bed assignnts, leaving no room for personal choice. In university, however, it's relatively free as schools do not arrange it, allowing students to choose for themselves — whoever arrives at the dormitory first gets to choose first. Students with high accommodation demands who prefer better positions will check in early to have more choices.

So students feel that it doesn't matter where they live, so they aren't firm about choosing beds, thinking it's enough just to have a place to stay. However, ultimately, the bed issue can cause significant distress throughout their college life.

Types of Beds

Every university has a different living environnt, but bed arrangents are quite similar. Generally, there are 1-person dormitories, 2-person dormitories, 4-person dormitories, 6-person dormitories, 8-person dormitories. Most universities don't allocate single or two-person dormitories to freshn; only so more luxurious schools do.

Graduate or doctoral students might stay in such dormitories, but freshn do not have this opportunity. The most common are 4-person and 6-person dormitories, which are popular due to the moderate number of occupants — not too noisy nor too lonely.

Typically, these dormitories feature an upper bunk with a desk below, along with a wardrobe — primarily each bed's desk is separated, making it very convenient for student life while maintaining privacy.

So students particularly emphasize privacy; they don't like to expose their personal lives, and such a layout is app
