'Forget it, just kick six more tis then.'

Lin Ye was about to kick another advanced skill out, but discovered that the fish monsters were no longer respawning in the stagnant water on either side.

"Can I move to the next flooded area now?"

Lin Ye looked at Little Ye and asked.

"Hard to say. I feel there's still sothing below. Monsters might jump out to ambush you when you approach."

Little Ye couldn't be certain whether her intuition was accurate.

"Then forget it. I'll explore the nearby hospital rooms first."

Lin Ye knocked on the nearest tal door, but there was no response from inside.

The door wasn't locked. Lin Ye gently pulled it open and peered through the crack to observe the hospital room interior.

He saw a blood-red eye.

A blood-corpse stood behind the door, and it violently shoved the door open, sending Lin Ye flying backward.

While being thrown back, Lin Ye imdiately unleashed a two-basic-skill combo against the blood-corpse's upper body.

Corrosive blood exploded across the blood-corpse's body, completely obliterating its upper half.

Lin Ye took several steps back to stabilize himself, only then processing what had just happened.

The blood-corpse's body shattered, leaving two red fragnts on the ground.

Lin Ye looked into the hospital room and saw red stagnant water everywhere. A blood-red arm erged from the water—a new blood-corpse had respawned.

"Damn!"

Lin Ye hurried forward and slamd the door shut. His internal organs were currently producing corrosive blood, so he couldn't use Blood Spit right now.

After closing the door, the blood-corpse didn't pound against it. There was complete silence inside.

Lin Ye picked up the red fragnts from the floor. He could farm blood-corpses here—one every thirty seconds—but considering the limited ti, he reluctantly abandoned this tempting idea.

"You'd better speed up. Ti is running short."

Little Ye didn't know exactly how much ti remained either, but as ti passed, she could feel the situation deteriorating in a bad direction.

"I understand."

Lin Ye directly yanked open the neighboring door. If anything moved inside, he would imdiately spray blood into the room.

"Huh?"

The hospital room contained nothing unusual. Its layout was identical to Lin Ye's own room, except it was completely empty.

Lin Ye closed the door directly. This room's normalcy made him uneasy.

After securely closing the door, Lin Ye moved toward the next hospital room.

However, after taking just two steps forward, the door behind him opened by itself.

"Did you open it?"

Lin Ye asked Little Ye with his eyes.

"No."

Little Ye responded with her own eye expression.

"What's inside?"

Lin Ye asked with his eyes again.

"See for yourself."

Little Ye took a step back, distancing herself from that room.

Lin Ye leaned in and scanned the interior, discovering the hospital room floor was piled high with red fragnts—roughly a hundred of them.

"Only an idiot would fall for this, right?"

Lin Ye closed the door again, but found he had locked himself inside the room, standing right beside the pile of red fragnts.

"Little Ye? Are you outside?"

Lin Ye didn't move recklessly, uncertain whether he was truly inside the hospital room.

"No, I'm behind you."

Little Ye's voice sounded from behind Lin Ye. He turned around but couldn't see her.

"I can't see you. Am I still outside the room?"

Lin Ye could roughly guess what was happening.

"Correct. Do you need to guide you?"

Little Ye approached closer behind Lin Ye and spoke.

"Not necessary. I know my position."

Lin Ye half-closed his eyes, turned, and walked toward the neighboring door. He planned to enter another hospital room to try escaping this state.

"Stop! You're walking into the hospital room!"

Little Ye suddenly shouted a warning.

"Impossible. I rember the previous position."

Lin Ye didn't halt his steps, feeling this Little Ye was highly suspicious.

"Your direction has been altered. If you keep going forward, you'll enter the room."

Little Ye said anxiously.

"If it can change my position, why not just place directly inside the room?"

Lin Ye reached out toward the wall before him, but the door handle that should have been there was absent.

"Perhaps that room can only alter your direction. It's not too late to retreat now—there's nothing there."

Little Ye's voice grew increasingly closer to Lin Ye, as if she had been slowly approaching him the entire ti.

"Can it even block tactile sensation? But this is aningless, because I know the door is right here."

Lin Ye's right hand made a grasping motion, pulling open the non-existent door, then stepped into the room with his eyes closed.

"Are you okay?"

Little Ye's calm voice sounded behind Lin Ye. He opened his eyes and found himself standing inside an extrely irregular space, with the room entrance behind him.

"Fine enough. What kind of ssed-up room is this?"

Lin Ye tried to exit the room but found himself moving toward the center instead.

"You'd better not move around randomly. A few more steps and you might not get out."

Little Ye warned.

"...Do you know how to get out?"

Lin Ye reached forward, only to see his fingers appear on the opposite side of the room.

"This is an irregular, discontinuous space. I don't know the correct path to exit either."

Little Ye entered the room. Unlike Lin Ye, she could move freely within the space as if it were a normal room.

"This is troubleso."

This ant Little Ye couldn't scout the path for him.

"Sothing more troubleso has arrived."

Little Ye pointed toward a corner of the room where a monster covered in arms had spawned.

The creature looked extrely bizarre, its irregular body causing discomfort to anyone who looked at it.

The monster moved through the room, its body constantly elongating and shortening, shifting between various locations within the space.

"...This doesn't seem troubleso."

Lin Ye stared at the monster's spawn point and recorded its movent trajectory.

This monster was using its body to show Lin Ye the spatial structure of this room.

Although the monster didn't pass through the entrance, as long as its movent path was sufficiently long, Lin Ye could deduce the route to the entrance from its trajectory.

The monster suddenly shifted from the distance to right in front of Lin Ye. Lin Ye shot corrosive blood behind it and executed his basic combo.

The corrosive blood exploded in the distance, shredding the monster's lower body. Lin Ye then stomped several tis on its upper half.

The monster was completely crushed under Lin Ye's feet, leaving an irregular black crystal on the ground.

Lin Ye picked up the crystal, and a line of text appeared before his eyes.

[Obtained Irregular Fragnt*1]

"Why isn't it a black fragnt? Can this thing synthesize skills with red fragnts?"

Lin Ye couldn't imagine what kind of skill these two fragnts could combine to create.

"Yes, but you'd better find the way out first. Another monster has spawned."

Little Ye reminded him.

Lin Ye looked at the newly spawned monster. The two monsters had spawned in different locations, and their movent trajectories differed.

'As long as monsters keep respawning, it won't take long to find the exit path.'

Lin Ye took a step forward, moving to one side of the room. He didn't want to encounter new monsters before his basic combo was ready.
