[Level Up!]

[Unassigned Attribute Points 5]

[Level: 20 (Max)]

As the system notifications continued to appear before him, the grin on Thoren’s face deepened with every passing second.

"Finally..." he laughed softly.

The sound carried a mixture of relief and excitent.

For the first ti in days, the crushing pressure that had weighed on his mind began to fade.

His smile was filled with genuine joy.

Only one battle remained.

And that was a battle he did not believe he would lose.

For the past couple of days, a single fear had lingered in the back of his mind, the possibility that he might fail to reach the maximum level before the deadline he had set for himself.

Every battle had been fought under that shadow.

Every risk had been taken with that concern lurking behind it.

But now, that burden has disappeared.

He had reached Level 20.

The maximum level.

Thoren slowly exhaled, allowing the tension in his chest to leave his body.

At last, he could breathe easily.

Now he no longer needed to worry about leveling up.

His full attention could be focused on defeating the final enemy...the Floor Boss.

"Coming to the Shattered Sky was the best decision I could have made," he whispered to himself.

His eyes slowly swept across the battlefield.

Countless beast corpses lay scattered across the rocky terrain.

If he had remained in the deeper regions of the uncharted territory, reaching Level 20 within fourteen days would have been nearly impossible.

There simply weren’t enough high-level beasts.

In most parts of the uncharted territory, the most common creatures were only Level 17 or Level 18.

Beasts above that level were extrely rare.

But the Shattered Sky was different.

Here, Level 19 beasts were almost as common as grass.

Even Level 20 beasts could be found with so effort.

Of course, this place was unimaginably dangerous.

Only soone with overwhelming strength could survive here for long.

But for soone like Thoren, soone who possessed an undead army capable of growing stronger through battle, the Shattered Sky was the perfect training ground.

As long as one was powerful enough to survive, becoming stronger here was as easy as drinking water.

Taking a slow breath, Thoren shifted his focus back to the remaining notifications floating before his eyes.

Several more lines of text were appearing.

[Level Up!]

[Level Up!]

[...]

"What?!" Thoren suddenly exclaid.

His jaw dropped.

His eyes widened in disbelief as he read the notification more carefully.

The Undead Storm Tyrant had leveled up.

For a brief mont, Thoren simply stared at the ssage, unable to process what he was seeing.

"Hahahahaha!"

A loud burst of laughter erupted from him.

He laughed hysterically, completely unconcerned about the mountain of corpses surrounding him.

His joy was written all over his face.

This developnt was far more important than it might seem.

Until now, only the Undead Rend Colossus had managed to reach Level 20.

But now, the Storm Tyrant had reached that level as well.

That ant he now possessed two Level 20 undead servants.

Just thinking about it made his heart race.

Not only that, the Undead Royalty Stonewall was also very close to reaching Level 20.

It would likely achieve the breakthrough after only a few more battles.

Thoren knew very well where his true strength ca from.

It did not co from his personal combat abilities.

It ca from his undead legion.

The stronger his undead beca, the stronger he beca.

After nearly a full minute of laughter, Thoren gradually cald down.

He took a deep breath and steadied himself.

Aside from the Royalty Stonewall, all the mbers of his elite undead squad had also grown stronger during the battle.

Every one of them had reached Level 18.

And they were already halfway toward Level 19.

"If I could fight a battle like that again..." Thoren muttered thoughtfully.

But after a mont, he shook his head.

He knew such an opportunity was unlikely to appear again.

Battles involving so many high-level beasts were extrely rare.

And now that he had reached the maximum level, even if he hunted more beasts, he would no longer gain experience points.

"I don’t need to worry about that right now," he said quietly.

His eyes shifted toward another section of his status window.

More specifically, to the ten unassigned attribute points.

Without hesitation, he began allocating them.

[Intelligence: 45 ( 5) → 50]

[Perception: 32 ( 5) → 37]

The mont the points were assigned, a subtle but noticeable change spread through his body.

His mind suddenly felt clearer.

Thoughts that had once required effort now ford effortlessly.

His reasoning beca sharper.

His concentration deepened.

At the sa ti, his senses expanded outward.

His perception had improved significantly.

Within half a minute, Thoren fully adapted to the changes.

He exhaled slowly through his nose.

Then his gaze shifted toward the four dead Gravemind Devourers lying in the distance.

From the mont he had first discovered them, he had already planned what to do with their corpses.

For a necromancer, Gravemind Devourers were extrely valuable creatures.

Many necromancers desperately sought them.

Their ability to control other beasts made them incredibly powerful tools on the battlefield.

If used properly, they could completely change the outco of large-scale battles.

This was precisely why Thoren had chosen to send the Undead Royalty Stonewall to eliminate them.

If he had used the Storm Tyrant or the Rend Colossus, their overwhelming power might have destroyed the corpses completely.

And that would have been a terrible waste.

Now, standing before the four intact bodies, Thoren felt a surge of anticipation.

He raised his hand slightly.

Then he activated his skill.

[Undead Summoning.]

Instantly, dark necromantic energy surged outward.

Four powerful waves of undead energy ford beneath the Gravemind Devourers’ corpses.

The energy seeped into their massive bodies.

Within two seconds, the corpses began twitching.

Their tendrils trembled.

Their grotesque forms slowly began to move again.

They rose and the four Undead Gravemind Devourers now stood before Thoren.

To test their abilities, he imdiately began converting the surrounding beast corpses into undead servants.

The process continued for several minutes.

One corpse after another rose from the ground.

Ten minutes later, thousands of undead beasts stood assembled before him.

However, Thoren did not imdiately take control of them.

Instead, he allowed the Undead Gravemind Devourers to try controlling them.

Almost instantly, the four creatures released powerful psychic pulses.

The invisible waves spread outward toward the undead beasts.

Normally, such attacks would attempt to seize control of a creature’s mind.

But in this case, the pulses struck the soul fire within each undead.

At first, the psychic waves bounced back because Thoren’s ntal power was simply too strong.

Realizing this, he intentionally reduced the strength of his control.

Once he relaxed his ntal dominance, the psychic pulses finally succeeded.

One by one, the undead beasts fell under the command of the four Gravemind Devourers.

"Aweso!" Thoren shouted excitedly.

"With them, I can control the battlefield far more efficiently."

He would remain the supre commander.

anwhile, the four Undead Gravemind Devourers would act as his generals.

Under his direction, the Devourers quickly organized the undead beasts.

The army was divided into four massive groups.

Each group gathered behind one Gravemind Devourer.

The formation beca far more orderly.

Watching this, Thoren could not help grinning foolishly.

He was extrely satisfied with the way his undead army was evolving.

Just then, a new notification appeared before him.

[The Ascension Battle has begun. Follow the guide.]

Thoren froze.

For a mont, the grin on his face vanished.

His expression slowly turned serious.

"So... it’s finally here," he murmured.

A fierce determination ignited within his eyes.

But then he frowned slightly.

"Where is the guide?" he wondered aloud.

Almost imdiately, a strange voice echoed inside his mind.

It began directing him toward the location where the Ascension Battle would take place.
