Suddenly, Thoren’s sharp perception detected an abnormal disturbance within the ground directly ahead of him. Without hesitation, he commanded his mount to evade the area imdiately.

Although he did not understand what was happening, he had no intention of gambling with danger inside the Inner Region.

Boom!

The undead Iron Roar Komodo had barely leapt away when a violent eruption exploded from beneath the crimson sand.

A terrifying stream of boiling red liquid burst skyward like a monstrous blood geyser.

Steam filled the surrounding air instantly.

"T This..."

Thoren widened his eyes slightly while staring at the horrifying scene before him.

If his reaction had been even slightly slower, he would have been caught directly within the eruption. Although he probably would not have died imdiately, he definitely would have suffered severe injuries.

Taking a deep breath, he muttered calmly, "Now even the desert itself welcos people to the Inner Region."

A devilish grin slowly appeared across his face. Instead of fear, excitent surged within his chest.

He commanded his mount to continue moving forward imdiately.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Blood geysers erupted continuously around him as he ventured deeper into the Inner Region. anwhile, the crimson color staining the dunes beca increasingly intense.

The further he traveled, the redder the world beca.

Although the blood geysers were terrifying and deadly, none managed to threaten him successfully.

His perception had beco extraordinarily sharp. Before any eruption occurred, he could already sense the subtle fluctuations beneath the sand and avoid danger instantly.

Thus, the blood geysers posed little threat to him at all.

Just as he began enjoying the dangerous welco of the Inner Region, the two undead Echo Scarabs flying nearby suddenly started vibrating violently.

Receiving the ntal warning transmitted through their connection, Thoren imdiately changed directions before urging his mount to increase speed.

Now that he had finally arrived inside the Inner Region, his desire to test the strength of his vanguards had intensified greatly.

He wanted confirmation.

He wanted to know whether the beasts inhabiting the Inner Region truly surpassed those within the Scorched Outskirts.

After traveling westward for approximately ten minutes, sothing massive slowly appeared within the distance.

An ancient wall stood half buried beneath the blood red dunes.

The structure looked ancient and weathered. Cracks covered its surface while crimson sand buried most of its lower portions completely.

Thoren narrowed his eyes briefly before urging the undead Iron Roar Komodo forward even faster.

He honestly did not care whether this place was a ruin or not.

Right now, he wanted battle.

Pure battle.

Howl!

Before he could fully approach the ancient wall, a deep monstrous howl erupted from behind it.

The crimson sand trembled violently as heavy footsteps echoed repeatedly.

A terrifying pressure spread outward imdiately.

Then they appeared.

Five gigantic Sand Hounds slowly erged from behind the ancient wall.

Their crimson fur stood upright sharply while bloodlust radiated continuously from their monstrous bodies. Their massive claws dug deeply into the red sand with every step.

Each beast radiated terrifying pressure.

Every single one had reached Level 30.

Seeing this scene, excitent flashed brightly within Thoren’s eyes.

"This is exactly what I wanted," he muttered while grinning.

He waved his hand casually.

Whoosh!

Four undead figures instantly appeared before the undead Iron Roar Komodo.

His vanguards had arrived.

The undead Storm Tyrant.

The undead Royalty Stonewall.

The undead Elite Jackal Beastman.

And finally, the newest addition.

The undead Guild Captain.

Their weapons glead coldly beneath the blood red moon while their dark cloaks fluttered wildly under the desert winds.

The atmosphere changed imdiately. A suffocating pressure descended across the battlefield.

Sensing the increase in intruders, the five Level 30 Sand Hounds released furious growls before charging forward violently.

Their speed was terrifyingly fast.

Ordinary awakeners would never even manage to track their movents properly.

However, was Thoren an ordinary awakener?

"Kill," he commanded calmly.

Instantly, the four vanguards stepped forward together to welco the incoming beasts.

Thoren deliberately assigned the undead Guild Captain to fight two Level 30 Sand Hounds simultaneously.

He wanted to witness its true strength personally.

Boom!

The battle exploded instantly.

The first Sand Hound leapt toward the undead Storm Tyrant with jaws opened wide enough to crush a human torso effortlessly.

However, the undead Storm Tyrant showed absolutely no fear.

Instead, it stepped forward violently while raising its gigantic war hamr high above its head.

Then it smashed downward rcilessly.

Bang!

The hamr collided directly against the Sand Hound’s skull.

Bone shattered instantly.

Blood exploded outward violently alongside fragnts of crushed fangs and brain matter.

The Sand Hound’s massive body slamd against the crimson dunes before rolling repeatedly across the desert.

Yet before the beast could even recover, the undead Storm Tyrant had already appeared before it again.

Boom!

The hamr descended once more.

This ti, the Sand Hound’s upper body exploded completely into mangled flesh and shattered bones.

Blood rained heavily across the surrounding dunes.

anwhile, another Sand Hound lunged directly toward the undead Royalty Stonewall.

The beast moved rapidly while aiming its serrated claws toward the undead’s neck.

Unfortunately for it, the undead Royalty Stonewall remained completely unmoved.

The terrifying black blade within its grip suddenly swung horizontally with terrifying force and sharpness.

Whoosh

The Sand Hound’s body was sent flying from the attack.

Its ribs collapsed inward instantly, blood splattered to the ground. A deep sharp cut appeared from its neck to its chest. It groaned in pain, fear appeared on its face.

It tries to struggle back to its feet only to see the undead Royalty Stonewall standing before it. It let out its last whimper as the blade descended.

Shua!

Its head was cleanly separated from its neck.

At the sa mont, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman confronted another Sand Hound head on. The beast attempted circling around rapidly while searching for weaknesses.

However, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman suddenly vanished from sight entirely.

Whoosh!

The next instant, it appeared directly above the Sand Hound. Its gigantic spiked club descended brutally.

Bang!

The Sand Hound’s front legs exploded imdiately from the impact. The beast collapsed screaming into the sand while blood gushed everywhere.

Before it could escape, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman grabbed its throat violently. Then it lifted the massive beast off the ground effortlessly.

Crack!

The Sand Hound’s neck snapped completely. Its lifeless corpse crashed heavily into the crimson sand monts later.

anwhile, Thoren focused primarily upon the undead Guild Captain. Two Level 30 Sand Hounds attacked it simultaneously from opposite directions.

One targeted its throat.

The other aid directly for its spine. Their teamwork was flawless.

Unfortunately, their opponent was sothing far more terrifying.

The undead Guild Captain stepped forward calmly while gripping the newly purchased black heavy broadsword firmly.

Soul flas burned fiercely within its hollow eyes.

Then it swung.

Whoosh!

The massive black broadsword tore violently through the air with monstrous force.

The first Sand Hound attempted dodging instinctively.

Too late.

Swiss!

Its entire body split apart instantly from head to tail.

Blood erupted everywhere while severed organs spilled across the desert floor. The second Sand Hound froze briefly from shock.

That single hesitation sealed its fate permanently. The undead Guild Captain suddenly appeared before it like a ghost.

The gigantic broadsword thrust forward brutally.

Crunch!

The blade pierced directly through the Sand Hound’s open mouth before erupting out from the back of its skull.

The beast trembled violently for several seconds before collapsing lifelessly.

Silence descended across the battlefield imdiately afterward.

Five Level 30 Sand Hounds had been slaughtered completely within monts.

None survived.

Blood soaked the crimson dunes heavily while severed corpses littered the battlefield everywhere.

Standing atop the undead Iron Roar Komodo, Thoren stared silently at the massacre before him.

Then slowly, a pleased smile appeared across his face.

His eyes burned brightly with excitent and anticipation.

"So this is the strength of my four vanguards together," he whispered softly.
