Rushing through the western district of Mantis Town, Thoren ignored every strange gaze directed toward him.

His expression remained cold and grim while tension radiated heavily from his body.

The peaceful atmosphere within the town suddenly felt suffocating.

Every second wasted felt dangerous. Arriving before the towering headquarters of the Crimson Arc Guild, Thoren imdiately strode toward the entrance.

The two guards stationed beside the gate stepped forward instinctively to stop him. Before either of them could even open their mouths, Thoren spoke coldly.

"Utter a single word and I will hang your heads above this gate."

His voice carried terrifying calmness.

Instantly, both guards froze completely. Their eyes widened while fear spread across their faces rapidly.

Of course, they still rembered the silver haired young man who had entered the headquarters alongside Orric’s party earlier.

They had rely intended to perform a routine inspection.

Yet now, their lives suddenly felt endangered.

The violent aura radiating from Thoren pressed heavily upon them like an invisible storm.

Their hearts pounded frantically.

Neither guard doubted his threat even slightly.

Slowly, they stepped aside without daring to speak again.

Thoren walked past them without another glance.

His large strides echoed sharply through the courtyard as urgency filled every movent.

Along the way, nurous guild mbers turned toward him curiously.

So frowned while others whispered among themselves quietly.

However, nobody dared stop him.

Bang!

Thoren slamd the office door open violently before entering imdiately.

Inside the room, Solenne sat behind her desk while reviewing several docunts.

The sudden noise caused her brows to furrow deeply.

Anger flashed within her eyes instantly.

She prepared to lash out at the intruder boldly barging into her office.

However, the mont she recognized Thoren, her expression faltered.

"T Thoren, why are you..."

"There is a beast tide approaching the town right now," Thoren interrupted imdiately.

His voice sounded extrely serious.

"We do not have much ti. I do not care how you handle it. Warn everyone imdiately."

Hmm?

Solenne instantly shot to her feet.

Her expression beca grave within seconds.

"Are you serious?" she demanded sharply.

"Do I look like I am joking?" Thoren replied coldly.

"There are thousands of Bone Crushing Wyrms advancing toward this place. Behind them are countless Lesser Dune Scorpions and Greater Dune Scorpions."

"If we fail to react quickly, this entire town may disappear before nightfall."

His words carried trendous weight.

For the first ti since eting him, Solenne saw genuine urgency within his eyes.

Whoosh!

Without wasting another second, Solenne vanished from her position instantly.

Ting! Ting! Ting!

Heavy warning bells rang throughout the entire Crimson Arc headquarters violently.

The loud tallic sounds echoed across every street nearby.

Imdiately afterward, hurried footsteps erupted everywhere.

Guild mbers poured out from different buildings rapidly while confusion spread through the headquarters.

Even without understanding the situation fully, a heavy atmosphere of dread descended upon everyone.

Thoren exited the office calmly before heading toward the main lobby.

Inside the massive hall, Solenne already stood at the center while issuing rapid commands.

Her expression remained cold and focused.

"Mobilize every available hunter imdiately!"

"Send scouts toward the East street!"

"Warn the Mantis elders without delay!"

Her sharp voice echoed continuously throughout the lobby. Guild mbers rushed away frantically after receiving orders.

The atmosphere beca increasingly tense.

Fear visibly spread across many faces.

Nobody questioned Solenne’s commands.

The warning bells alone already explained the seriousness of the situation.

Nearby elite squads gathered together swiftly while gripping their weapons tightly.

Every face looked solemn.

Their hearts pounded violently against their chests while unease gnawed at their minds gradually.

Once Solenne finished issuing commands, she turned toward a massive armored man standing nearby.

"Riven," she called firmly.

The giant warrior stepped forward imdiately.

A gigantic shield rested upon his back while scars covered his muscular arms.

"Take your squad toward the central district. Any beast that breaches the walls must die imdiately."

"Yes, Guild Master."

Riven nodded firmly before leading his team out of the lobby rapidly. Despite the massive shield strapped behind him, he moved effortlessly.

Watching the elites depart quickly, Solenne finally exhaled deeply. A trace of exhaustion appeared within her eyes.

"I hope this town survives tonight," she muttered quietly.

Beast tides were not uncommon within the Bleeding Desert.

However, large scale tides rarely attacked fortified settlents like Mantis Town directly.

Why?

Because nearby beasts were hunted constantly by both human awakeners and Mantis Beastn.

Only under unusual circumstances would massive hordes migrate toward populated settlents.

Turning slowly, Solenne stared directly at Thoren and for several long seconds, silence filled the lobby.

Finally, she spoke carefully.

"Why do I feel this sohow involves you?"

Hmm?

Thoren froze briefly inwardly, though his expression remained calm outwardly.

"Are you accusing of causing the beast tide now?" he asked with a frown.

"Not directly," Solenne replied while shaking her head slowly.

"But honestly, after everything surrounding you, can you bla for thinking that way?"

Her voice sounded complicated.

"Since becoming Guild Master, I have only witnessed one beast tide before today."

"And that day nearly destroyed everything we built."

A trace of bitterness surfaced within her tone.

"For months, I have worked endlessly to eliminate dangerous beasts around this settlent."

"I believed our efforts reduced the possibility of another disaster."

She clenched her fists unconsciously.

"But now, it seems all those efforts ant nothing."

The burden weighing upon her shoulders felt enormous.

As Guild Master, the safety of Mantis Town rested partially upon her decisions. If the town fell today, countless innocent people would die horribly.

Listening quietly, Thoren narrowed his eyes slightly. "You are overthinking things," he said calmly.

"Who knows? This situation may beco a fortune hidden within misfortune."

His confidence sounded strangely unwavering. It almost felt disconnected from the terrifying danger approaching outside the walls.

Solenne studied him carefully.

Even now, despite the incoming catastrophe, Thoren looked composed.

No fear appeared within his expression.

No panic existed within his movents.

Instead, there was only dangerous calmness. And that calmness unsettled her deeply.

"How can he remain so relaxed?" she wondered inwardly.

Thousands of monsters were approaching rapidly. Any ordinary awakener would already panic under such circumstances.

Yet the silver haired Necromancer standing before her behaved as though tonight rely represented another inconvenience.

For a brief mont, curiosity flickered within Solenne’s eyes once again. Perhaps this disaster would finally allow her to witness the true terror hidden behind the title Grim Reaper.
