"Mage!?"

Abi stared wide-eyed at Xia Nan beside him, his face full of unstoppable surprise.

At this mont, the "Green Blood" team had already left River Valley Town and was in the open wilderness between the town and Mist Forest.

It was broad daylight, relatively safe, and typically devoid of any Demon activity.

On the road, one could occasionally see adventurers returning from their just-completed tasks, their expressions weary yet wary of the few people they encountered.

In the last monts of relaxation before entering the forest, the few team mbers were chatting casually.

Xia Nan didn’t intend to hide anything, nor did he think much about it; he simply treated it as a topic to pass the ti and took the chance to share with Adeline and others his observations at the Association.

——That advanced adventurer team from the Association Second Floor, seemingly composed of professionals.

"Is it really a Mage?" Abi looked particularly excited, leaning close to Xia Nan and asking curiously.

"Did he have a light orb above his head?"

"I rember a minstrel who ca to our village once perford; it was as big as a fist and could light up the entire barn!

Due to the high demands of talent and financial resources, "Spellcasters" are not common on the Aifala Continent.

Perhaps those who spend years in the adventurer association, or those whose own strength has reached a professional level, frequently encounter Spellcasters due to their environnts being highly connected with Extraordinary Power and don’t feel it as unusual.

But if you expand this range across the entire Aifala Continent, especially for those who have spent their lives living in rural valleys.

They might not even distinguish between a "Magician", "Priest", and "Mage", let alone those school nas like "Plastic Energy", "Spell", "Confusion Control".

Their only recognition of Spellcasters may just be the stories of bearded old n conjuring fireballs, with pointed hats atop their heads, or perhaps that shabby minstrel who passed through a village by accident over a decade ago.

In so sense, Xia Nan’s original self before crossing over, and Abi before him, were much like these people.

However, thanks to Xia Nan’s previous life’s extensive reading of ani and novels in modern society, and the diary of that Wild Mage, he had already demystified the "Mage" profession.

He understood that those who sit high in Mage Towers, even looked down upon by the Divine beings, the "Great Mages", are very few.

The vast majority of ordinary mages, in fact, are no different from them, having to eat and sleep, hesitating due to high restaurant expenses, and even worrying about making a living.

But after all, Abi was still a newcor, soone who bragged about chopping a few goblins.

Hearing from his teammates that the legendary "Mage" was actually staying in the sa room as him.

The excitent on his face was almost overflowing.

Not only did he pester Xia Nan about the appearance and attire of that Mage, but he also furrowed his brow in concentration, trying hard to recall the scenes in the Association and attempt to conjure up the mage’s image from his mory.

The result, naturally, was nothing.

But perhaps because he thought too much, Abi discovered a questionable point:

"Professional...Mage..."

"Would adventurers of this level even participate in ’Hunting Day’?"

"They probably can’t even earn back the maintenance fee for their Equipnt, can they?"

Abi couldn’t imagine a noble Mage, one who understands arcana and stardust, controlling Magic Particles, having to endure the stench of the air like the rest of them, trudging through the muddy ground mixed with waste to launch an offensive just for a few Green-skinned Goblins.

"How do you know they’re also going to wipe out goblins like us?"

Beside him, Berg teased with a smile.

"It’s not like the task wall in the Association only has tasks related to goblins."

"It’s perfectly normal for Hunting Day to last a month or two; even those professionals need to eat, right? Who’s to say they can’t take on other tasks?"

"Hehe." Hearing what Berg said, Abi realized he had been too stubborn, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head, but still arguing:

"Who knows, maybe they have so special task and are here for so amusent."

Adeline consciously ignored this scene that might appear over a dozen tis a day.

She only reflected on Xia Nan’s description, recalling the looks and attire of those professionals.

After a mont, she shook her head and said:

"No clear impressions, but these ’Hunting Day’ activities really offer too little inco for them."

"I reckon they’ve taken on so other task."

Having just ntioned it casually, and hearing his teammates say this, Xia Nan didn’t think further about it.
