She rely spoke and moved a bit faster.
After realizing the enemy the team might face, they didn’t even have ti to organize George’s body, leaving it lying where it was.
She quickly called the team to seize the ti to leave.
However, the situation was not quite favorable, as the sky had already begun to darken by the ti they found the body, intending to camp nearby.
This delay made the already limited ti seem even more pressing.
At night, the danger in the Mist Forest is almost several tis greater than during the day.
Traveling by night would be courting death.
Thus, the Green Blood Team only had ti to find a reasonably clear patch of ground to camp, staying as far from where the body was found as possible.

The Fire Spark ignited the tinder, and a puff of white smoke rose from the palm.
Abi held the fire with both hands, blowing gently with focused attention, causing the smoke to thicken while carefully approaching the prepared pile of wood on the ground.
He carefully and cautiously placed the now glowing Fire Spark into it.

The small fla rapidly grew amidst flickering, swirling fiercely, and transford into a large mass of orange-red fla that devoured the surrounding firewood.
The dimness in the air was instantly dispelled, and the bright flas’ warm heat quickly spread throughout the camp.
Abi breathed a sigh of relief.
The fear he felt from witnessing the terrible state of the corpses also diminished sowhat.
Beside him, around the campfire, Xia Nan had already spread out his sleeping bag and blanket for rest, completing his task.
Adeline and Berg were tensely setting up traps around the camp for vigilance.
The discovery of gnoll tracks earlier made the entire team extrely vigilant.
The number of traps set was almost double the usual count.
Hence, additional ti was needed.
Not until night fell completely, leaving only darkness outside the campfire’s range.
Did the two return, one after the other, from the left and right sides of the camp.

Berg’s complaints about Adeline during the day were one aspect; more importantly, it was those brutal gnolls who had just slaughtered an entire adventurer team and could ambush them at any mont.
Moreover, the team was nearly three days away from exiting the forest, which ant they had to endure at least two dangerous nights in the Mist Forest.
The lurking danger in the deep darkness, seemingly imminent, forced Adeline and the others to maintain constant focus and vigilance.
The pressure was imnse.
This was also why many adventurers, even without any actual combat throughout the mission, felt ntally and physically exhausted upon returning to River Valley Town, requiring days to barely recover.
The ntal strain was too heavy!
Xia Nan even felt that he was the most ntally alert one in the team.
"Perhaps it’s because I’ve been a Lone Wolf for too long before; I’ve grown numb, and now having teammates helps with vigilance, it’s sohow less taxing in comparison?"
He thought to himself.
The atmosphere stayed oppressive.
Abi seed to want to liven things up, but as a newcor, he was probably worried about crossing lines, so he only made a few jokes. Seeing no reaction from others, he closed his mouth again.
Xia Nan wasn’t of such disposition either, having long been accustod to solitude and enjoying the peace.
As the flas flickered, ti silently passed in the stagnant air.
Within a matter of dozens of minutes, the few of them ward themselves by the fire and quickly filled their stomachs.
The night watch was already arranged.
Xia Nan and Berg took the first half of the night watch, while Adeline and Abi were responsible for the remaining, most dangerous early morning hours.
Though they had not fought throughout the day, various events had occurred, leaving everyone in the team exhausted.
After dinner, the two who were to guard the second half of the night went to rest early.
For the mont, the only ones still awake by the fire were Xia Nan and Berg.
Xia Nan, as usual, found a sturdy tree trunk, sat cross-legged leaning against it, resting the Beheading Longsword across his knees, and carefully maintained it with a cloth.
