Chapter 493: Chapter 253: Karlosh, Tears Frozen in the Night

Space and ti, at the mont that dazzling silver light burst forth, seed to fall into stagnation.

Scarlet blood splashed upon the leaf’s surface flowed downward under gravity’s influence, only to be shattered by raindrops descending from the sky; in its fragntation, transforming into a frozen blood bloom;

With his left hand fractured and his right hand tightly gripping the Fine Sword, Lawson’s eyes reddened from the searing pain, visible were the bulging veins on his neck from exertion;

Across from him stood Terry William, the Heavy Armor Knight, with an icy gaze and an elegant face soaked with rainwater, yet his eyes did not regard the opponent before him, instead looking towards the wasteland—the place where the tal Block had fallen.

The two stood opposed, even the suspended raindrops in the air seed fixed in place.

Xia Nan knew clearly in his heart that under such circumstances, it was highly unlikely that ti had truly stopped flowing.

It was rely akin to the “bullet ti” of his past life, where hyper-active thoughts flashed through millions of ideas in a mont, making the external world, including his physical body, appear slow.

The source of all these changes was naturally the device in his hand—a body entirely elliptical, radiating a dazzling yet gentle silvery-white light, nad the [Dream Weaving Corridor].

The wound in the center of his chest, suppressed by the Secondary Healing Technique, still transmitted bouts of sharp pain;

Resonating in his mind was a cold chanical voice devoid of any emotional fluctuation—initially unfamiliar, later it seed to sense his thoughts, transforming into the Universal Language commonly used on the Aifala Continent.

“Inputting dynamic password…”

“Password verification successful!”

“Activating ‘Dream Weaving Corridor – Neural Travel Terminal’…”

“Activation successful!”

“Welco, Dream Weaver.”

“Warning! Remaining energy less than 5%, to ensure normal use, please recharge quickly!”

“Detecting mory archive storage…”

“Warning! Storage unit damaged, please contact the device manufacturer for maintenance and repair!”

“Connecting to cloud mory online…”

“Connection failed!”

“Attempting localized connection…”

“Connection successful!”

“Retrieving neural source trajectory, generating subjective experience log…”

Accompanying the cold chanical voice resonating in his mind, a long string of characters flashed across the surface of the Dream Weaving Corridor device.

Once localized, similar to the voice, it used the Universal Language.

Enabling Xia Nan to recognize the aning represented by its text.

Yet akin to the multitude of codes in the computer backend of his past life, he might recognize the letters, but when combined together, along with nurous unheard-of technical terms, he could only look on in confusion.

Silver light flickered.

As Xia Nan’s gaze swept across the device’s “Password verification successful” sign, he felt a mont of gratitude, thankful that the Goddess of fortune’s [Destiny Coin] proved effective.

Even though he didn’t know the password type, the number of characters, or whether it needed to be input repeatedly, blindly typed, as long as success was possible, the probability reached one hundred percent.

Without ti to continue reviewing and analyzing word by word, that long string of silvery-white characters vanished as “generating experience log” appeared.

Replacing it were four abstract yet precisely representative images.

A black wolf crouching in the depths of shadow, its mane rippling;

An explosion of smoke-like crimson scattering in bursts, forming an ochre-red light cluster;

A wooden Longsword leaving a perfect arc-like afterimage upon its swing;

And a simplistic icon composed of pure lines and dots, resembling the planetary trajectories within a galaxy.

Though the device itself did not elaborate on the significance of these images, Xia Nan keenly aligned them through their respective directional graphics with the four Battle Skills he now mastered.

Black wolf—Teeth Hunting, ochre light cluster—Gravity Etching, swinging Longsword—Vortex Slash, planetary trajectory—Gravity Control.

“But…what does this an?”

Xia Nan pondered in his heart.

Through the attribute panel’s description, he knew the [Dream Weaving Corridor] should possess so function akin to virtual reality, an imrsive role-playing movie experience.

But why could it associate his Battle Skills with these images?

As he contemplated, his thoughts unconsciously focused on the device’s final image, representing [Gravity Control].

“Warning! Insufficient energy, please recharge before use.”

His heart jolted involuntarily.

Attention moved forward, separately arriving at [Vortex Slash] and [Gravity Etching], both with similar energy shortage warnings.

And just as he worried that he might have wasted the precious opportunity to use [Destiny Coin] because of this.

As Xia Nan’s attention reached the last remaining image on the device surface—the black wolf symbolizing [Teeth Hunting].

The wolf beast image crouched in the shadow suddenly moved, as if the best hunting mont had arrived, the black wolf leapt forward, its teeth revealed at the edge of its Wolf Mouth, limbs stretched in the air.

“Activate experience log?”

The chanical voice echoed in his mind.

With things as they were, [Destiny Coin] had already been used, leaving no room for regret.

Xia Nan focused his mind, gently touched the dark furred wolf beast with his gaze.

“Activation successful!”

“Weaving dream…”

I, Grom Windbiter, the fiercest Barbarian Warrior of the Frost Howl Tribe, beloved of the ancestral Heroic Spirit, am also destined to be our tribe’s future leader.

In my youth, whenever I introduced myself this way in the ice hut of the tribal Priest, it was always t with kind-hearted laughter and rough hands patting my head.
