Now reading: Chapter 354: Integration from Goblin King: My Innate Skill Is OP, a Fantasy novel by DoubleHush.

I turned toward Caius' group, intending to properly explain exactly what each of them brought to the clan instead of leaving things vague.

And naturally, I started with the one whose usefulness would impact the settlent the most.

I pointed toward Doro.

"This one built the walls surrounding their forr clan," I said. "And now that he's part of ours, he'll be rebuilding our defenses as well."

Several goblins imdiately looked toward Doro with interest.

"Our current walls are mostly made from reinforced vines and packed structures," I continued. "But with his ability added on top of that, this place can beco far more difficult to breach than it is now."

A few audible gasps spread through the crowd.

Even so of the more skeptical goblins visibly reacted to that.

Which made sense.

Everyone here understood how important proper defenses were. One strong attack on the settlent could easily wipe out weaker goblins if the walls failed. So hearing that soone capable of constructing fortress-level defenses had joined the clan naturally drew attention almost imdiately.

Bundi and his associates reacted the strongest out of everyone present, their eyes practically lighting up as they looked toward Doro with open excitent.

Which made sense.

They were the ones who would eventually handle integrating the Manacore Garnets into the rebuilt defensive structures, so having soone capable of massively improving the walls themselves was probably the closest thing to a blessing they could ask for right now.

I let the reactions settle briefly before turning toward Sheera next.

Then I pointed at her.

"And her..." I said, "she doesn't just heal cuts and ordinary injuries. She's capable of regenerating lost limbs."

Another wave of shocked murmuring spread through the gathered goblins.

This ti, even more of them reacted visibly.

A healer capable of restoring missing limbs wasn't sothing ordinary goblins encountered casually. Even I understood how absurdly valuable that ability was.

In battles where losing an arm or leg usually ant permanent disability—or death—not having to fear that outco entirely changed the way fighters could approach combat.

"So if you lose an arm during battle, there'll be no reason to panic and retreat imdiately," I continued. "Just focus on killing your enemy first, because afterward, there's a healer capable of giving you a new one."

Behind , Sheera imdiately shook her head at that explanation.

Probably because I made it sound much simpler than it actually was.

Regenerating limbs obviously wasn't sothing she could casually spam in the middle of battle without limits or consequences.

I knew I was exaggerating things a little.

But that wasn't the point.

Right now, I needed my goblins to stop seeing Caius' group as dangerous outsiders and start seeing them as valuable assets to the clan.

And if that ant glazing them slightly in front of everyone, then so be it.

I pointed toward Verya next.

"Verya is an excellent scout," I continued. "She can detect enemies from miles away and warn us before threats even reach the settlent."

"That's not exactly how my ability works," Verya muttered quietly from behind . "But... close enough, I guess."

I turned toward Kharos next.

The mont my attention landed on him, he visibly flinched slightly.

"This one," I said while pointing directly at him, "gave actual trouble when I attacked their clan."

Kharos blinked in surprise.

"Fast, aggressive, and dangerous with that axe of his," I continued. "He nearly made sweat."

That was stretching things a bit.

Still, the reaction from the crowd was imdiate.

Several goblins looked at Kharos differently after hearing that.

"Now imagine him fighting alongside us instead," I continued. "He'll tear straight through enemy lines while the rest of you follow behind him bathing in the blood of whoever's left."

Kharos lowered his head slightly, visibly embarrassed after my explanation.

The goblin standing here now wasn't the sa goblin who had fought back then. Losing his innate skill had clearly affected him heavily, and having openly compare his current self to what he used to be probably wasn't helping.

Still, that didn't an he'd remain weak forever.

I shifted my attention toward Drel next.

"This one..." I started.

Then I paused briefly.

Honestly, I didn't actually know much about him aside from the fact that his abilities were plant-related and that he was quite annoying.

"...can grow plants," I finished.

The mont those words left my mouth, Bundi imdiately reacted.

"Really? Then he could help with crops and resource growth," he said, sounding genuinely interested.

Imdiately, several goblins turned toward Drel with noticeably different expressions.

Unlike combat abilities, sothing related to food production directly affected the entire settlent, so naturally it caught attention fast.

Drel looked visibly uncomfortable under everyone's attention and imdiately began waving his hands frantically.

"No, no... that's not how my abilities work."

"Oh?" Flogga suddenly spoke up, her eyes narrowing with interest before a wide, toothy grin spread across her face. "Then that makes him useful for the lab as well. Many plants require proper growth conditions."

The mont Drel looked toward her, his entire body seed to tense slightly.

Honestly, the way Flogga was staring at him made it look less like she had discovered a useful clan mber and more like she had just found a rare ingredient she wanted to experint on personally.

Drel visibly shuddered.

Almost imdiately, he turned toward Caius with a desperate look that practically scread for help.

But Caius simply shook his head calmly.

"I'm not your chief anymore, farr."

Drel stared at him in disbelief.

"Farr?" he repeated, sounding genuinely offended.

With a grin, I shifted my attention toward the last person.

"Lastly...Caius."

The atmosphere around the gathering subtly tightened again the mont I ntioned him directly. Even now, he carried the heaviest presence among the group.

"This one survived longer than most Chosen ever do," I continued. "He successfully built one of the largest goblin clans around and was already a candidate for the King's Gas before I took that title from him."

That imdiately earned him mixed reactions from the gathered goblins.

So looked at him with clear admiration.

Others with caution.

And a few with sothing close to...
