[Next Threshold: Level 50]

The words burned across my vision.

I sat slowly, forcing myself to breathe, and began to analyze each choice one by one. There was no need to rush this. If my legacy really depended on it, then I couldn’t afford to pick blindly.

The first path: Dinsional Breaker.

Even the na sounded like it had been pulled straight from so dramatic epic. A little over the top, sure—but the description made my pulse quicken all the sa.

[Dinsional Breaker] – Reality-Rending Warrior

You are the fault line in existence. Tear open rifts and collapse worlds with every strike.

Rift Slash (Active): Carve invisible cuts that ignore armor and barriers.

Collapse (Active): Create a localized fault in space, dragging enemies inward.

Fractured Existence (Passive): Incoming ranged attacks have a 50% chance to be displaced harmlessly.

The first skill it offered was Rift Slash. A single cut, invisible to the eye, ignoring armor and barriers as though they didn’t exist.

That was... absurd.

I’d spent my entire life as a goblin weaving in and out of danger, circling prey, waiting for the exact mont to strike. Always aiming for the one weak point, always relying on precision to make up for what I lacked in brute strength.

But this? This skill didn’t bother with weak points. With Rift Slash, everything beca a weak point. Armor, scales, shields—it wouldn’t matter. Every enemy would be vulnerable.

No more of my blade bouncing uselessly off thick hides. No more sparks flying as Gravefang skidded across armor I couldn’t pierce. With Rift Slash, I could make sure every strike landed clean, cutting through whatever stood in my way without obstacle.

Then there was the second skill the path offered: Collapse.

The very na carried weight. I could see it in my mind already—an enemy squad pulled screaming into a twisting knot of space, bodies slamming into each other, tripping, clawing to escape while I watched from the edge. Archers ripped from their perches, shield-bearers smashed into the ground, careful formations undone in an instant.

No more being surrounded. No more scrambling under a rain of arrows or being funneled into a trap.

With Collapse, I could tear their order apart. Create chaos where there had been control. Break them in ways no weapon could. Then, with a single [Warp], I’d be inside the chaos, cutting throats before they even realized what had happened.

And then there was the passive—Fractured Existence.

The words alone made my chest tighten. A chance, however small, to simply... not be hit. For an arrow to sail through as if I were smoke. For a fireball to crash against my outline and leave untouched, standing in the ash while my enemies gaped.

It wasn’t defense. It wasn’t armor. It was reality bending out of the way for .

The thought of it sent a chill crawling up my spine.

Of course, the skill wasn’t perfect. Fractured Existence only offered a fifty percent chance to displace an attack—but still, to have that kind of assurance built into my very existence? That was enough to make my pulse quicken.

The chances of getting assassinated, shot down by a stray arrow, or roasted by a mage from a distance would drop to almost nothing. Half the ti, I’d simply slip through death like it wasn’t even there.

The class overall was terrifying. Terrifying in the best possible way. So far, it was a solid contender, and I could already visualize what it would feel like to wield those skills—cutting rifts in space, collapsing formations, walking through battle as arrows phased harmlessly past .

But then my eyes drifted to the second option.

[Drugar’s Avatar] – Chosen Vessel

The will of Drugar lives through you...

Drugar. That na again.

I felt my jaw tighten.

Yeah, no. Pass.

I wasn’t about to beco an avatar for so god I barely knew, no matter how much divine shine he tried to dress it up with. I’d fought too hard for my scraps of freedom to hand my will over to anyone, let alone a being whose motives I didn’t even understand.

The thought alone made my skin crawl.

What if...
