Cain's target was the creature that had swallowed him, leading to the incident where he was delivered right into the jaws of the Demon, Azazel...

That beast was the only Tier 1 creature he knew of. The creature was most likely many tis stronger than it had been before. Taking it down was not going to be an easy feat.

The first thing to do was find out how to track it. Luckily, he didn't need to do that by himself.

Cain stared at Susan. Her eyes were closed, and her hands were clasped together. Then, her eyes snapped open. The Black of her eyes had vanished, leaving behind only pristine sclera. Nurous magic circles emitting a sickening radiance appeared in her eyes.

"I can sense it. A few kiloters away from here. Its moving rather slowly, most likely searching for prey."

Sue nodded, "That ans weve6 co at the most opportune ti."

That was true. If the creature was thousands of ters below the surface, they would have to rethink their decision, as an underwater battle would be allowing the creature to fight with the ho advantage.

"The plan is to make sure we fight it above the surface. But that won't be easy. Also, nothing will be stopping it from escaping." Evangeline said.

Jenny nodded, "I agree. But if we managed to take it down in one fell swoop, it won't be able to run."

Evangeline raised a brow, "You sure seem confident."

Jenny smiled, "Well, Cain must have a degree of confidence if he decided we are to hunt it down. If he is confident, then I am as well."

The other girls seed taken aback. They never knew Jenny had such high regards for Cain.

Evangeline chuckled, "Trust . He isn't as reliable as you think."

Ignoring Cain's stink eye, she continued, "Still, I can't deny it is possible."

Cain sighed, "There is only so much planning we can do. Jenny, lock its movents down and be prepared to give it your biggest shit on my signal. Susan, give us buffs. The fight should end quickly, so we won't be needing any healing spells. Hopefully..."

"Sue, flas won't be very useful against this thing, and your Dust Devil's greatest weakness is water, so you won't be able to do much."

After being involved with one another for so long, it was only natural for Cain to unde6them and vice versa. This understanding would make cooperating almost seamless.

"Not to worry. I have more tricks up my sleeve." Sue declared confidently.

"Eva... You, and Ignis will lead the front. Hit him hard." Cain said.

He wouldn't have proposed this if he wasn't confident in their abilities. If they couldn6take it down, then trying to battle humans who were more insidious than beasts would be a tall task.

Cain tapped Ruby,

'Let's go.'

Mounting the huge Mutant Beast, he motioned for the girls to join him. As Ruby was exceptionally large, carrying six people wouldn't be a hassle in the slightest.

Cain sent the {Dark Soul} which had recently evolved into a Tier 1 Eldritch creature towards where Susan tracked it to.

Now, all that was left to do, was traverse the ocean to et their prey.

'Now what? Ruby cannot walk on water.'

Cain chuckled. He reached out with his mind and activated {Frozen Paths}. Since he turned Tier 1, activating spells had beco much more easier. Almost effortless...

Now, he could control his mana so effectively, he didn't need to be standing on the surface of the water to activate {Frozen Paths}.

Instead, the surface of the water thickened and solidified into ice beneath Ruby's paws the mont she made contact with the water.

Evangeline's eyes narrowed, "You've gotten better at controlling your energy."

Cain nodded, feeling a bit bashful. Evangeline smiled,

"You are still no match for though."

Ruby galloped across the inky blackness at a staggering speed, the water before her transforming into solid ice, which exploded into snow the mont she leapt off of it. As such, a mini snowstorm was left in their wake.

Holding onto her fur, Cain felt the wind smack him repeatedly. However, it didn't sour his mood. Rather, it hrough6him an odd sense of calm.

His mind had been in turmoil before, but now, he was seeing the path much clearer. He knew what needed to be done.

Ruby's speed was truly baffling, and her endurance even more so. They arrived before a portion of the ocean that seed darker than normal. The {Alabaster Leviathan} was lurking just beneath the surface right here.

The mont the beast sensed them, it beca restless and began swimming straight for them.

"Get ready." Cain said calmly as he drew {Malestrom} from his Armory.

Everyone else prepared to engage. The mont the titanic beast broke through the surface of the water...

The battle had already began...

***

Seeing this white beast of the depths was like eting an old friend or enemy for Cain. He couldn't help the bitter smile that appeared on his face.

Ruby's speed suddenly picked up as she galloped towards the beast. At the sa ti, the body continued to grow in size till she was the size of a small hill. Still, she didn't co close to the {Alabaster Leviathan} is size.

Sue imdiately began chanting. A cloud of sand began gathering in the air. Cain couldn't help but wonder what sort of spell it was that she wanted to cast.

The defenses of the {Alabaster Leviathan} were incredibly strong, and the beast was also resistant to physically and magical attacks. What approach was she going to take when her two main elents were rendered useless.

With her magicians staff in hand, Sue's chants suddenly picked up in tempo. Cain imdiately recognized this as dual casting.

Dual Casting was a skill available to those who had absurd magic and control stats. It allowed one to cast two spells at once and combine their effects.

Suddenly, a thick darkness descended upon them. Looking up, Cain could see clouds of dark flas gathered within the cyclone of sand which had ford up in the sky.

"I present to you my special personalized spell..." Sue's voice trembled with excitent.

The cyclone of sand was imdiately lted away by the cloud of black flas. Waves churnced and the water bubbled as the surrounding atmosphere began heating up to uncomfortable degrees.

"Good lord..." Cain was taken aback by this display.

The cyclone of sand continued to condense with the help of the flas until it turned into a gigantic shard of pitch black glass surrounded by multiple smaller shards suspended in midair.

Sue waved her staff towards the beast excitedly,

"Shards of Broken Heaven!"

The mont the giant shard of glass began to fall, Cain could sense the shift in the ocean. He gave Ruby a ntal command, forcing her to retreat a bit.

The {Alabaster Leviathan} was an intelligent beast, so it knew there would be no way for it to evade the attack in ti. As such, it didn't even try. Instead, it gathered a frightening amount of mana into the the sharp spinal skipeson its back to release a deluge of energy towards the falling piece of sky.

The impact caused a portion of the ocean to sink in on itself, releasing a massive conical wave in all directions.

Cain gritted his teeth as Ruby did her best riding the wave out.

Ignis couldn't help but give Sue an impressed look. Despite her size and horrible temper, she wasn't a half bad magician at all.

Sue's face was pale after having delivered such a powerful attack. It had drained an entire quarter of her mana pool.

Cain was beyond impressed. However, desipte the power behind the attack, the {Alabaster Leviathan} was not even injured. Although it had expended a good but of mana to destroy the spell, beasts of these size usually had large mana pools and even more terrifying mana regeneration rates.

As such, the fight was going to have to be brief. Using the period where the beast was still trying to reorientatate itself, Ruby quickly closed it.

Her jaws snapped open as with a roar, she bit off a huge portion of flesh and carved an even bigger portion off using her razor sharp claws. Blood sprayed out of the open wound like a fountain.

The others, except Susan, Sue, and Cain used this as an opportunity to mount the behemoth. Ruby circled the beast and began harassing it from its sides.

The beast let out a roar as it began thrashing. Its roar sent out a shockwave that crashing I to them, almost causing those that had mounted it to fall into the inky depths.

"Its about to dive into the ocean!" Susan said all of a sudden.

Cain nodded. He had suspected this would be the case, so he had already made preparations to stop the beast from escaping.

A large wave of ice elental energy poured out of his body like a tsunami.

"Frozen Paths."

Although the spell was originally a passive one, with his advance to Tier 1 and his control over magic going up by leaps and bounds, he was able to modify the spell a bit.

With him as the center, the surface of the ocean, as well as dozens of ters beneath of the ocean began to freeze over. The moisture in the air began to condense into snowflakes as the temperature plumted.

It was truly an inexplicable sight to witness...

Dozens of miles of ocean suddenly turning into a thick sheet of solid ice. Trapped within this icy trap, the {Alabaster Leviathan} would be unable to break out for the mont.

As such, it let out a cry filled with rage. Cain disembarked from Ruby. Feeling the chill of the solid ice beneath his sole of his boots, he was filled with confidence.

He pulled the {Scale of the Abyssal Fla} from the {Armant Armory} and charged at the beast.

His Ki circulated violently within him, causing the air to the displaced. Raising his blade above his head, he delivered a viscous chop.

Evangeline was even more sinister. Her face was the epito of cold beauty as she made the waves churn. Water gathered from the waves to form nurous tentacles with sharp ends that dug into the sides of the creature. The creatures blood was turned into sharp weapons that gorged the beast from the inside out, dealing it endless pain and suffering.

Sue threw fireball after fireball at the beast, saturating the salty air with the stench of burning fat and flesh. Ignis' blows caused energy to rampage within the beast, slowiy damaging its organs.

In response, the {Alabaster Leviathan} fired off nurous attacks randomly. Should a single one et its target, there would be nothing between them and death.

Luckily for them, they all had high agility stats...

As a Legendary-grade Beast, the {Alabaster Leviathan} truly possessed the potential to beco sothing scary, perhaps world-devouring, in the future. Still...

Fighting together, it was no longer a fight against the beast. Instead, it was a pumling. Although the {Alabaster Leviathan} was a powerful Level 150, Legendary, Tier 1 Mutant Beast, In front of these dangerous anomalies, it could do nothing but be slaughtered.
