God Invasion: It's awesome to save the world with five problematic girls! Chapter 107: Shelf Speech

After a month, the day has finally co for this book to go live. As per tradition, I should say a few words, and this book is no exception, so let have a chat with everyone.

The previous book I completed was originally planned to be a story set in a cyberpunk background, but the editor, considering the audience issue, advised to switch to another genre. In the end, I gave up on that idea.

Conveniently, I also wanted to try writing sothing more light-hearted and fun, without any knives and heavy content, so I eventually chose this romance novel with a Japanese light novel style.

The general background of this novel cos from the last book I had to abandon due to health reasons, but whether it is the story or the character design, everything has been completely changed and turned into sothing entirely different.

At the heart of it, the most fundantal inspiration for this story actually cos from the ani "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War."

I really like the concept of "love is a battlefield" in it, which aligns with the main storyline of the male protagonist Yan Huan and various female protagonists with modifiers, strategy, opposition, and romance.

The concept of love gas is not only present in "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War", many works have written about it. Even the addition of the Golden Finger elent is not uncommon at the starting station, which is why I introduced the concept of "weird Golden Finger"...

If the female protagonists possess the dangerous Golden Fingers found in Japanese anis, then the strategic gas the male protagonist faces will undoubtedly beco more perilous and interesting. I like this aspect very much.

So, as the male protagonist who will be using the modifier, he must have extraordinary attractiveness: good looks, a pleasant personality, and a healthy constitution.

Conversely, it makes sense that if the female protagonist in an ani were an ugly girl with a nauseating personality, as a male protagonist, you probably wouldn’t even want to use the modifier at all, right?

Additionally, I don’t really want to set up scenes where the male and female protagonists bombard each other with Golden Finger magic, so I weakened the male protagonist’s Golden Finger.

It might be quite interesting during the chaotic scenes among the female protagonists, but if the male and female protagonists do so, it only reduces the danger in the strategy ga and lessens the offensive opportunities for the female leads.

But this does not an that the female leads’ attacks are worry-free.

In the "love ga", Yan Huan possesses a terrifying ability that forces any single female protagonist to rely on a modifier to barely contend with him.

Overall, the female protagonists with modifiers are generally at an advantage, while Yan Huan, currently on the defensive, is sowhat weaker.

This dynamic will slowly change with the developnt of the protagonists’ feelings, the progress of the modifiers, and the occurrence of chaotic scenes.

And as the female protagonists on the offensive, I still need to emphasize that their characters are flawed, and the modifiers will undoubtedly magnify these flaws.

I do not want to portray five flawless and submissive female protagonists manipulating modifiers, turning the strategic gas into so kind of odd kink.

The five modifiers are not traditional cheats or Golden Fingers, but rather represent five "sins", the aberrant desires within the five female protagonists.

I have set detailed backgrounds and settings for all modifiers, but I will not write them out directly; instead, they will gradually be revealed through the plot.

Attributes, strengths and weaknesses, personalities, restraint relationships, and so on...

Besides these intriguing settings, it’s ti to talk about the romance thread.

Unlike the last book’s single female lead storyline, this book adopts a multi-threaded approach.

The advantage is that the emotional progress of the female protagonists and the male protagonist won’t be too disparate, but will develop together gradually.

It’s more exciting and feels like there’s always sothing happening. I will also insert so interesting "daily life and interludes" to transition.

The downside is that each individual female lead’s story might seem a bit disjointed.

So sotis I will write a segnt focused exclusively on one female lead, as well as comprehensive major events to pinpoint the milestones.

These are roughly the design and upcoming plans of this book.

Honestly, in my view, the author’s note for going live is more about providing a "preliminary explanation" for the forthcoming paid content, rather than an author’s emotional ramblings.

The longer I write, the more I realize that I can never satisfy all readers.

Whether it’s the style of writing, character design, or plot, as many people like it, there are often just as many who dislike it.

This is an unavoidable matter, and I don’t believe I’m yet adept enough to gain the acknowledgnt of the majority.

So, in order not to have you all spend money in vain, in the first 33 Chapters, I have written about all the female leads, embedding the writing style and rhythm in between, so that you all can understand this book as much as possible.

At the sa ti, I’ve explained issues such as "daily life," "male lead’s Golden Finger," and "female lead’s flawed characters" above, and I hope you will read carefully before subscribing.

Next is about the update schedule.

Actually, most of the ti the Chapters are already typed out, but I have the habit of reviewing and revising them after completion.

Sotis after typing, if I’m particularly dissatisfied, I rewrite extensively, but get writer’s block during revisions.

This kind of situation is not unusual, like last night and so previous days, so sotis you have to wait.

This story will be long, and I don’t plan to write it short, but no matter what, I won’t leave it unfinished; I will complete it.

Tomorrow is 20,000 words, then 5,000 to 6,000 daily, and when it cos to key plots, they will be very long, like Chapter fourteen...
