Chapter 1014: Chapter 1094: I Believe You!
The car fell into complete silence for a mont.
Lin ngyan turned her head, staring blankly at Fang Yi.
“I don’t like it! Not one bit!”
Suddenly, Xu Kun shouted.
“Move aside, it’s none of your business!” Lin ngyan said.
Before Fang Yi could speak, Lin ngyan had already answered Xu Kun.
This left Xu Kun quite hurt.
Lin ngyan continued to look at Fang Yi, but Fang Yi wasn’t looking at her because he was driving and watching the road ahead.
After a long ti, Lin ngyan slowly spoke, “What if I like you, and what if I don’t?”
Fang Yi: “If you like , it’s your blessing. If you don’t, it’s your loss.”
Lin ngyan slightly narrowed her beautiful eyes, “I think you’re pretty shaless.”
Fang Yi replied casually, “I’ve been shaless for quite so ti now. So, do you like or not? If you do, after I take care of things, we can get a room tonight.”
Lin ngyan: “…”
Xu Kun, sitting in the back, suddenly let out a low roar, “I can’t stand it anymore! Fang Yi, you’re too shaless! You’re a disgrace to us n!”
Fang Yi’s tone remained calm, “Being shaless is the most normal thing. As for being a disgrace to n? Haha, you got your face beaten black and blue by that old Fu, doesn’t that count as a disgrace to n?”
As the saying goes, to strike a snake, aim for its vital point; to kill a person, strike the heart. Fang Yi touched Xu Kun’s sore spot, causing Xu Kun to seethe with rage.
“I… I was just ambushed by that old guy, nothing more,” Xu Kun said sowhat awkwardly, trying to justify himself.
“So it was an ambush, huh?” Fang Yi said, “Looks like I misjudged you.”
“Exactly!”
Xu Kun stiffened his neck and said, “As they say, fists fear the young and strong. If it were a head-on fight, that old guy wouldn’t be my opponent.”
Fang Yi: “Alright, I believe you!”
After saying this, Fang Yi didn’t speak again.
Xu Kun also stayed silent because lying made him blush deeply. Yet, he didn’t want to lose face in front of Fang Yi, unwilling to admit defeat, so Xu Kun had no choice but to lie.
He felt a bit disgruntled. If Lin ngyan exposed him, he’d be truly embarrassed.
But to Xu Kun’s relief, Lin ngyan didn’t ntion his embarrassing incident of being beaten by old Fu.
Lin ngyan turned to look at Fang Yi, wanting to say sothing, but she opened her mouth and said nothing.
Fang Yi didn’t continue to press on; he never forced anyone.
Besides, Lin ngyan knew what kind of person he was. Fang Yi considered his previous words as a joke.
However,
he wasn’t sure if Lin ngyan took the joke seriously.
Fang Yi extinguished his cigarette in the car ashtray, when Lin ngyan suddenly made a soft sound.
“What is it?”
“The speed of the green dot seems to have increased,” Lin ngyan said, slightly furrowing her brow.
At this mont, Lin ngyan was holding Fang Yi’s phone, and on the screen was an electronic map with a red dot and a green dot, still so distance apart.
The red dot represented Fang Yi and the others, while the green dot indicated Bai Houfeng and his group.
Currently, Fang Yi was driving on the national highway, almost traveling on the sa road as Bai Houfeng. Yet, Bai Houfeng’s group suddenly sped up, which could an two things.
First, Bai Houfeng wanted to drive faster to reach Mountain City by morning.
Second, they might have encountered danger.
If we analyze it thoroughly,
it’s likely that Bai Houfeng knew Fang Yi and Li Xue were on their way, and he should slow down to wait for them.
But Bai Houfeng didn’t.
Therefore,
it’s quite obvious whether it’s the forr or the latter.
