The office was silent for a mont, cold and still.

“Mr. Zhu, do you have anything you need to attend to?” Shen Binan said.

Thus, Zhu Wushou had to ask proactively, “President Shen, what do you an by this? Are you agreeing or not? Please give a straightforward answer.”
Shen Binan replied indifferently, “I just wanted to say, Mr. Zhu, you can leave now.”
Zhu Wushou imdiately understood. His expression darkened, and his gaze turned icy: “President Shen, you don’t want to give your bodyguard’s life? Why bother? It’s just a bodyguard. Can it be more valuable than a gold mine?”
“Moreover, if the existence of this gold mine is leaked, for Longtu Group and for you, President Shen, you know how significant the impact would be. Why risk everything for sothing minor?”
Zhu Wushou laid out the pros and cons.
However, this ti Shen Binan didn’t hesitate at all and said decisively and succinctly, “Mr. Zhu, please leave!”

“Even if I lose my entire Longtu Group, I won’t let him suffer any harm, Mr. Zhu. Are you satisfied with my stance?” Shen Binan said coldly.
Zhu Wushou could hardly believe it. He stared at Shen Binan in shock. This was putting everything on the table, and he couldn’t have imagined Shen Binan would be willing to go to such lengths for that bodyguard.
Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he asked, “Could it be that President Shen and that bodyguard have… that kind of relationship?”
That would be the only explanation.
However, Shen Binan calmly denied it, “Mr. Zhu, you’re overthinking it. He’s my bodyguard; I’m his boss. It’s not the relationship you’re imagining.”
Well, damn, that’s really strange!
Zhu Wushou observed this Ice Beauty before him, his thoughts churning. Since he couldn’t take Fang Yi’s life, he could only settle for second best.
