Fang Yi stepped out and imdiately saw the three people gathered together.
At this point, Fang Yi had already taken a shower and changed clothes, and walked over, prompting Lei Wan’er and Zhong Nan to co to their senses.
Lei Wan’er handed over the piece of paper she was holding, but Fang Yi shook his head and said:
"The three of you seem to be free today, how about going sowhere with for a fun ti?" "You hold onto it."
Lei Wan’er’s pretty face showed a puzzled look. Fang Yi laughed.
Huang Xiaotian and Zhong Nan both had puzzled expressions, but Lei Wan’er was the quickest to understand. She looked at Fang Yi and said, "Do you want to buy the dicinal herbs written on this paper?"
Fang Yi gave a slight smile and, although he didn’t speak, he tacitly acknowledged it.
The three exchanged glances to gauge each other’s thoughts, and, surprisingly, they all unanimously agreed.
As for the reasons, only they themselves knew.
The group arrived outside the clinic, and Fang Yi closed the rolling door before heading to Aunt Wu’s house, where he borrowed an electric tricycle.
Driving a motorized tricycle in town requires a license photo, which Fang Yi didn’t have, though he had plenty of fake driver’s licenses—more than enough to use.
Aunt Wu readily lent Fang Yi the electric tricycle, but just as Fang Yi was about to leave, Aunt Wu grabbed him and said, "Little Tianzi, you’re heading to the wholesale market, right? Can you do a favor for ?"
Fang Yi chuckled, "You just say it, Aunt."
Although Aunt Wu was rough and liked swearing, she was quite nice to Fang Yi.
What Fang Yi didn’t expect was that Aunt Wu seed a bit hesitant at this mont. After a mont’s pause, she finally gathered the courage to say, "Here’s the thing, I have sothing important to do, and as you’re going to the wholesale market, can you take Niu’er with you?"
Fang Yi replied, "Is it important?"
Aunt Wu nodded.
Fang Yi simply responded, "Alright, since you trust , Aunt, leave Niu’er with , and I’ll make sure he’s well taken care of, no problem at all."
Aunt Wu imdiately bead with joy.
Niu’er was brought out from the house by Aunt Wu; upon seeing Fang Yi, Niu’er imdiately grinned and then jumped onto the tricycle to sit.
Niu’er was holding a bag of chips, seemingly carefree, leaving Aunt Wu without any fuss and tagging along.
Huang Xiaotian and the others each had their own ans of transportation—one on a racing motorcycle, one in a Porsche, and another using an electric scooter, so Fang Yi didn’t need to worry about how they’d get to the wholesale market.
Fang Yi drove the electric tricycle with the simple-minded Niu’er sitting beside him, cruising down the road, looking just like any ordinary person.
Fang Yi was familiar with the wholesale market in State City, so he navigated there without GPS.
On the way, Niu’er sat beside him with the chips, leisurely eating away, looking carefree.
Thus, Fang Yi couldn’t resist asking, "Niu’er, tell big bro Tian what your mom went off to do?" Given that Aunt Wu entrusted Niu’er to him, the matter Aunt Wu had to attend to must be significant.
Niu’er shoved a few chips into his mouth, muttering, "Treat... treat illness... big bro... treat illness..."
Treat illness?
Aunt Wu has an elder son, which didn’t surprise Fang Yi, since he used to play with him. Previously, during a al at Aunt Wu’s, he wondered where the eldest son went but didn’t inquire.
At that ti, Aunt Wu’s eldest son was away for work or perhaps had gone to another town, so Fang Yi didn’t give it much thought.
But now, hearing from Niu’er, Fang Yi realized Aunt Wu’s eldest may have so unspeakable troubles.
