Fang Yi leaned in slightly, lighting the cigarette at his lips. Only then did Li Yinong put away the lighter and place it on the table.
Then Li Yinong moved the ashtray in front of Fang Yi, swift and neat, yet not a hint of flattery, only a sense of thoughtfulness and comfort.
Even Fang Yi couldn’t help but feel a bit sentintal.
"Miss Li, with such kindness and thoughtfulness, any man who marries you is truly blessed for several lifetis." Fang Yi chuckled.
This was not just a polite remark from Fang Yi; it ca from the heart. A woman as gracious and elegant as Li Yinong, and incredibly beautiful, with a powerful family background—no matter how you look at it, Li Yinong is undoubtedly the goddess in a man’s heart.
Just as Fang Yi finished speaking, Zhang Shuishui, who had been silent, imdiately said, "If you’re interested, I think she wouldn’t refuse... Li Yinong, right?"
Li Yinong ignored Zhang Shuishui and smiled at Fang Yi, saying, "Mr. Fang, you’re too kind."
Fang Yi smiled, picked up a piece of pastry and put it in his mouth, then took a sip of hot tea. He gently tapped the table with his fingers, and the atmosphere in the private room suddenly quieted.
However, Fang Yi eventually spoke first, glancing nonchalantly at the two won in front of him, and said with a smile, "There’s no one else here, it’s very quiet. If there’s anything you want to say, just say it. Once we’re done chatting, I have so things to attend to."
Li Yinong and Zhang Shuishui exchanged a glance.
Zhang Shuishui spoke first, "How did you tell that the two-hundred-year-old wild ginseng was fake?" It was very direct, getting straight to the point, but this was what she and Li Yinong were most curious about.
However, Fang Yi didn’t answer directly but instead asked back, "How did you two figure it out?"
Li Yinong exchanged another glance with Zhang Shuishui. After a mont, Li Yinong slightly parted her lips and said, "Actually, for , it wasn’t sothing I noticed directly. It was after seeing your reaction, Mr. Fang, and then taking a closer look that I realized it. In terms of sharp observation, I’m a notch below Mr. Fang."
Unconsciously, Li Yinong gave Fang Yi another complint.
Moreover, Li Yinong generously admitted she was not as good as Fang Yi, showing a very uncommon openness.
Yet, Li Yinong’s skill in reading people is remarkably keen, with a ticulous mind not possessed by ordinary won.
Fang Yi remained calm, his gaze shifted to Zhang Shuishui, who said flatly, "I feel the sa."
Fang Yi nodded.
This Zhang Shuishui isn’t lacking in intelligence either.
"Now it’s your turn to talk, isn’t it?" Zhang Shuishui looked at Fang Yi, urging him.
Zhang Shuishui and Li Yinong both looked at him, sowhat anticipating his answer.
"Experience." Fang Yi stated.
And then, that was it.
After uttering those two words, Fang Yi had no intention of speaking further. They were watching him, and he was watching them in return.
And so, in the private room, they ended up just looking at one another, silent for quite so ti.
"That’s it?" Zhang Shuishui asked.
"That’s it." Fang Yi replied matter-of-factly.
"...What kind of an answer is that!" Zhang Shuishui said, annoyed.
Just two words, this answer is like no answer at all, who would believe it!
Li Yinong, however, was much more composed than Zhang Shuishui. She looked at Fang Yi and said, "Mr. Fang isn’t fooling us, is he?"
Fang Yi smiled and said, "If I’m lying, then I’m a puppy."
