65: Chapter 64, The Best and the Sneaky Villain!
Watching Xia Ziqi’s slightly embarrassed expression, waves of emotion rippled through Fang Yi’s heart.
Although Xia Ziqi was dressed simply, her beauty could not be concealed by her plain clothes.
Her delicate face featured tender and smooth skin, fair as snow, a slightly prominent nose, and cherry lips without a hint of lipstick, yet more alluring than if she had worn any.
Fang Yi couldn’t help but take a few more glances.
Just then, he heard Cai Cai’s voice calling out, and saw her pulling at the corner of his clothes, saying, “Uncle, I’m going to be late…”
“Don’t worry, you won’t be late with here,” Fang Yi said.
Having mounted the bicycle, Fang Yi told Xia Ziqi, “Pack up early, don’t tire yourself out.”
Xia Ziqi smiled knowingly, a smile that wasn’t coquettish but rather soothing and heartwarming, and then said, “Okay!”
Fang Yi cycled away on his old Phoenix-brand bicycle with Cai Cai, first dropping her off at school, then rushing to the company.
This daily routine of taking Cai Cai to school had gradually beco a part of Fang Yi’s life.
Upon reaching the company, Fang Yi parked his bike at the entrance of the Guard Departnt and asked Ma Haigang to lock it for him.
Just as he was about to enter the elevator, he suddenly glanced through the floor-to-ceiling windows and saw a blue Maserati parked outside, from which Shen Binan alighted.
And it wasn’t just Shen Binan, Ren Hao was there too.
Fang Yi’s eyebrows slightly raised, then he squinted his eyes and stroked his chin in thought.
Just then, Ma Haigang erged from the Guard Departnt and offered a cigarette with a sycophantic smile, “Here, Mr.
Fang, have a smoke.”
Ma Haigang knew this man had a special relationship with the president, as he at least drove the president ho every evening.
He must be the president’s bodyguard, a person Ma definitely needed to curry favor with.
Fang Yi accepted the cigarette and looked at Ma Haigang with an odd expression, suddenly saying, “Minister Ma, did you see that man over there?” He pointed in a certain direction.
Ma Haigang imdiately looked and saw Shen Binan and Ren Hao.
Hesitantly, he said, “Do you an… the man next to President Shen?”
“Yes.”
“I see him, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him before,” Ma Haigang said, puzzled.
“That man is a problem, he wants to harm President Shen,” Fang Yi said.
Ma Haigang was startled and blurted out, “That can’t be, but if that’s the case, why would President Shen still…”
“President Shen is being threatened by him,” Fang Yi said.
Ma Haigang was sowhat skeptical.
Fang Yi added, “Minister Ma, don’t say I didn’t warn you, but here cos your chance to make a mark.”
Ma Haigang was taken aback, “What… what opportunity?”
“Co closer.” Fang Yi whispered a few sentences into Ma Haigang’s ear.
At first, Ma Haigang was shocked by what Fang Yi told him, which made him sowhat fearful.
But after hearing it all, excitent filled his face.
Seeing Ma Haigang’s excited expression, Fang Yi patted his shoulder and laughed, “Minister Ma, if you accomplish a great feat this ti, I’ll have to congratulate you.”
Ma Haigang, thrilled, said, “Don’t worry, Mr.
Fang, I will do my best.”
With his instigation successful, Fang Yi did not linger and went upstairs.
After swiping his fingerprint card and entering the office, Fang Yi sat at his desk.
Unlike before, he didn’t sleep but took out his phone and opened a job recruitnt app.
Fang Yi beca engrossed in it, and Huo Xiaoxuan approached without him noticing, though he quickly spotted her.
“What are you looking at?” Huo Xiaoxuan, upon being discovered, asked curiously rather than showing embarrassnt.
“I’m browsing a pornographic website,” Fang Yi answered.
However, Huo Xiaoxuan didn’t seem embarrassed at all.
Instead, her eyes lit up with excitent as she quickly said, “Let see, let see quickly.” As she went to snatch Fang Yi’s cell phone, Fang Yi casually dodged her attempt.
Fang Yi glanced at her enormous chest, which filled her T-shirt to the brim, and it was obvious just how well-endowed the girl was.
“If you like this vibe, co to my house tonight,” Fang Yi playfully threatened.
“Go to your house?
That doesn’t sound good,” Huo Xiaoxuan said, though her face didn’t show the slightest sign of discomfort.
Fang Yi promptly changed the subject.
“Have you finished signing your orders?”
Huo Xiaoxuan nodded vigorously.
“All done.” Then, sothing seed to occur to her, and she stared intently at Fang Yi.
“You haven’t signed a single order, have you?”
Fang Yi replied, “Didn’t I tell you?
I have connections.”
Huo Xiaoxuan just humd in response.
Just then, Fang Yi’s cell phone suddenly rang—it was Shen Binnan calling.
Fang Yi imdiately left Huo Xiaoxuan behind and headed to the CEO’s office.
Once in the CEO’s office, Fang Yi made himself comfortable as if he were right at ho.
Shen Binnan looked at this overly familiar man and said, “You had no troubles last night?”
Fang Yi chuckled inwardly.
This woman eventually couldn ‘t resist and lost patience before him.
Feeling smug, Fang Yi said with a smile, “No trouble.
Just a little trip to the Guard Departnt.”
Shen Binnan stared straight at him, asking, “Did anything happen to you?” implying whether he had been mistreated or beaten.
Fang Yi grinned.
“Luckily I’m tough.
Despite taking a few hits, there was nothing serious.”
Shen Binnan narrowed her eyes and fell silent for a mont before asking, “Do you want to give you a day off?”
Fang Yi was taken aback before asking, “Are you actually being nice?”
“Since you doubt it, never mind then,” said Shen Binnan.
“Oh, and I called you here to tell you sothing—you don’t need to pick up from work these next few days.”
Fang Yi raised his eyebrow.
“Because of that Ren Hao?”
A flicker of surprise crossed Shen Binnan’s beautiful eyes before she nodded and softly humd in agreent.
Fang Yi didn’t push further.
Since Shen Binnan had said as much, he didn’t feel like ddling.
“Ms.
Shen, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave,” Fang Yi said, feeling sowhat annoyed.
Without waiting for Shen Binnan’s response, he walked out of the office.
This action slightly surprised Shen Binnan, who thought to herself how he seed as if he was mad about sothing.
Outside the office, Fang Yi lit a cigarette, trying to dispel his irritation.
“Damn it.
She really thinks I’m a pushover,” Fang Yi muttered as he exhaled smoke plus, deeply disappointed by Shen Binnan’s actions.

In the afternoon, Fang Yi didn’t go to Shen Binnan’s office since she had suggested as much.
Seeing no point in groveling, he instead went to sit in the security room.
Ma Haigang poured Fang Yi a cup of tea and even lit a cigarette for him.
With surveillance screens around, Fang Yi sat in front of them, lazily watching the monitors.
After a while, he saw Shen Binnan leave the lobby through a monitor.
“Minister Ma,” Fang Yi called out.
“Here, right here.
Mr.
Fang, what can I do for you?” Ma Haigang imdiately ca over.
Fang Yi asked, “The thing I asked you to handle, you’ve taken care of it, right?”
Ma Haigang chuckled slyly, his smile full of cunning.
“Everything’s done just as you instructed, Mr.
Fang.
Even if that guy drives a Maserati, or a Lamborghini for that matter, with flat tires, he can only stare helplessly.”
Both n laughed together.
Fang Yi’s laugh was refined, yet it held a hint of guile.
As for Ma Haigang, he laughed like a true scher, both appearing like villains plotting devious sches.
One a scoundrel, the other a cunning villain—when these two ca together, certainly nothing good could co of it.
