As the man’s voice fell, an unexpected change occurred.

A piercing series of explosions suddenly rang out, and the ground seed to shake violently. The man imdiately panicked, quickly returning his attention to the surveillance screens, just in ti to see a squad of well-equipped ard troops appear.
“Dragon Team?!” The man’s pupils abruptly narrowed again, swiftly recognizing the origin of the ard squad.

Anger aside, the man hesitated for a mont before opting to fight.

Like a devout follower, the man whispered solemnly and then took the automatic rifle that hung at his waist, briskly making his way out of the surveillance room.

“We’re under heavy gunfire!” a woman’s voice rang out in the hallway.
Suddenly, a bullet struck the woman’s shoulder, and Zhou Haotian quickly caught her.
“Wang Ting, are you alright?” Zhou Haotian dragged her into the shadows.
“I’m fine,” Wang Ting shook her head and said, “Haotian, the enemy’s gunfire is too fierce.”
Zhou Haotian fell briefly silent and hesitated. Since entering, they had t with intense gunfire and had already lost two Yinglong Guards, suffering a disadvantage right from the start.
“Let’s hold them off for now,” Zhou Haotian said. “Brother Yi said there’s no need for us to fight to the death, just keep these people at bay.”

Fang Yi smirked without slowing his pace and kicked open the door at the end of the hallway, revealing a Biological Research Institute before his eyes.
Apart from the cold instrunts and the specins of creatures inside, there was no one there; they obviously had evacuated before Fang Yi had arrived.
Fang Yi stopped, lit a cigarette, and then began casually searching the biological research lab, seemingly looking for sothing.
