95: Chapter 94, On Red Light Street!

Fang Yi scrutinized Bai Jingjing, who was smiling in front of him, but the hint of a smile on her lips held a faint bitterness.

Fang Yi sighed and said, “Do you want to go for a drink?”

Bai Jingjing countered, “Do you have money?”

Fang Yi’s face froze montarily; he took out five hundred yuan, but that was supposed to be given to the madam later.

With an especially intriguing expression, he thought for a mont and said, “How about we just leave, let Liu Lang hold the fort here by himself, and co back to redeem him when we have money?”

Bai Jingjing burst out laughing, genuinely amused.

She rolled her eyes and said, “You really have no sha.”

Fang Yi chuckled and said, “Not having sha doesn’t matter, as long as you can laugh, I’m already completely satisfied.”

Bai Jingjing suddenly fell silent, feeling a sudden warmth.

Bai Jingjing rarely laughed, but with this guy around, she found herself laughing more often.

No matter the situation, this guy always managed to make her laugh.

Ever since becoming the leader of the White Tiger Alliance, Bai Jingjing had always been stern and icy.

However, this rule was broken in Fang Yi’s presence.

Sotis, Bai Jingjing even found herself amused by this guy.

However, Bai Jingjing was not a woman adept at expressing her feelings.

Although she did laugh, she quickly recomposed herself and said sternly, “At a ti like this, and you’re still making laugh!”

“You could choose not to laugh,” Fang Yi shalessly replied.

“It’s not like I’m forcing you to.”

Bai Jingjing found she was at a loss for words.

Even though she knew that was how he talked, she still couldn’t help but be caught between laughter and tears.

As the night deepened, under the glow of tall street lamps, the night gradually edged towards the early morning.

On Red Light Street, Fang Yi and Bai Jingjing casually found a spot to sit down.

No one approached Fang Yi soliciting business because Bai Jingjing had taken off her cap and her beauty alone had deterred any madams from approaching.

Just then, a drunk staggered over to where they were sitting.

He looked at Bai Jingjing sitting on the ground, grinned, and flashed a smile.

“Hey, beauty, how much for one night?” the drunkard asked.

Fang Yi imdiately glared; damn it, as if he didn’t exist.

But Bai Jingjing replied, “Five hundred, fixed price, no bargaining.”

Fang Yi thought, “…” Your asking price is way too low.

The drunk actually took out the money, pulling out more than a thousand yuan, “Beauty, I won’t take advantage of you, the extra is your tip, hehe, co with master.”

Bai Jingjing robbed him of his money, counted it, and nonchalantly said, “Alright, get lost now.”

At hearing this, the drunk beca furious and was about to start a fight, but Fang Yi would not just stand by.

He stood up and slapped the drunk across the face, snapping him out of his drunkenness a bit and causing him to glare angrily with wide eyes.

Fang Yi, like a street ruffian, confidently said, “What are you looking at?

Don’t you know this is a robbery?

If you don’t leave now, I’ll kill you!” He had the ferocious look of a gangster.

In the end, the drunkard backed down, glaring furiously a few tis before leaving.

Fang Yi looked down at Bai Jingjing, who was joyfully holding the money, and said, “Doesn’t it feel great to achieve sothing like this?”

“Of course,” Bai Jingjing replied.

“Well then, I should get half of that money,” Fang Yi said.

However, Bai Jingjing shook her head, “No, I attracted the business, I should get the larger share.

But this is for you.” Saying this, Bai Jingjing handed a hundred yuan note to Fang Yi as if granting him a grand reward.

Fang Yi widened his eyes, dissatisfied, “I helped too, I should get the larger share.

You’re treating like a beggar.”

“You have a point,” Bai Jingjing conceded.

The next mont, Bai Jingjing raised her hand and touched Fang Yi’s head, gently rubbing it.

“What are you doing?” Fang Yi looked at her with a puzzled expression.

Bai Jingjing said, “Giving you a ‘like.’ When Jimmy gets mad, I do this to him too.”

“Your Jimmy isn’t a dog, is he?”

“Bingo!

He’s actually a Teddy,” Bai Jingjing replied with a sly smile, revealing a side of her that wasn’t usually seen amidst the rivalries between alliances.

I’m no Teddy!

Fang Yi muttered internally, just about to speak when suddenly, he sensed a strange aura, an intuition telling him that soone familiar was approaching.

On Red Light Street, a handso man leisurely walked their way, holding an umbrella, each of his steps as regular and precise as clockwork.

And there was only one person Fang Yi knew who could walk like that.

At that mont, Bai Jingjing noticed as well and said, “Huh, it’s not even raining.

That guy…

wow, what a handso man!

Fang Yi, look, he’s much more handso than you.”

Fang Yi: “…” Co on, just a bit more handso than , okay?

Don’t distort the facts!

The attractive man stopped one ter in front of Fang Yi, still holding his umbrella.

Fang Yi looked up and t the eyes of the handso man.

Bai Jingjing felt as if the surroundings instantly fell silent, all attention drawn to the two n.

“I an…

can’t you stop showing off?

It’s not raining, you look ridiculous with that umbrella,” Fang Yi finally spoke, knowing all too well that if he didn’t start the conversation, the other guy definitely wouldn’t.

The handso man smiled slightly, showing no sign of anger, “I just like to see you get annoyed.”

Fang Yi said, “Get closer here and see if I don’t slap you.”

The handso man just smiled faintly again, his gaze shifting to Bai Jingjing.

He made a gesture of invitation, and Bai Jingjing reluctantly placed her hand in his.

“My lady, you are truly beautiful…” the handso man said with a smile, about to bend down and kiss the back of her hand.

Damn it, I can’t take it anymore!

Fang Yi, furious, picked up a brick and held it in front of the guy’s face, shouting, “If you dare to kiss her, see if I don’t kill you with this brick!”

The corner of the handso man’s mouth twitched as he glanced at the brick, then smiled and said, “So she’s the woman you’re interested in?

Fine then, I won’t touch her.

After all, you can’t betray a friend’s trust.”

It must be said, the handso man’s deanor was incredibly annoying.

“I an…

how did you end up here at Xuan Cang, specifically to find ?” Fang Yi asked.

“Yes, there’s a big business opportunity I needed you for,” the handso man said.

“But I’ve washed my hands of that life,” Fang Yi replied.

The handso man, however, shook his head, still smiling, “A dog can’t change its nature.”

Fang Yi finally lost it and threw the brick at the handso man’s forehead.

Bai Jingjing, sitting on the ground, was utterly speechless, seeing these two appear familiar yet not enemies, starting their encounter with a conflict, with Fang Yi even throwing a brick, totally baffling her.

Yet, as the brick flew, the handso man dodged it easily, still smiling.

Seeing that the two were about to clash again, Bai Jingjing quickly interjected, “Sir, I don’t even know your na.”

The handso man smiled and said, “Lin Shang.”
