Due to Xiao Tian temporarily sealing the main ridians throughout his body, the True Qi that lingered within and had not yet returned to the Dantian was unable to discharge due to external interference, causing it to rampage through the ridians.
The intense pain made Xiao Tian involuntarily groan, and blood uncontrollably spilled from his mouth, dripping onto the snowy ground.
This injury was already extrely severe for Xiao Tian, and for Sun Miaohan, who had already lost a lot of blood, it was even worse.
Therefore, Xiao Tian imdiately checked the condition of the girl in his arms, only to see her breathing steadily with her Liu i slightly furrowed, looking as if she were just asleep.
"Don’t sleep!"
Xiao Tian forced out two words between his clenched teeth, but was again struck by a close assault of sword energy from behind, causing him to spit out another mouthful of blood helplessly.
In his arms, the seemingly asleep Sun Miaohan suddenly frowned even deeper, and a drop of crimson dripped from her pink lips, causing him to instinctively press them tight.
In an instant, Sun Miaohan felt a tallic sweetness spread in her mouth, causing her to awaken instantly, realizing what had happened.
Sun Miaohan forcefully lifted her head, seeing Xiao Tian with blood spilling from his mouth, and hurriedly asked concernedly, "How are you?!"
"It’s the first ti I’ve seen you so anxious." Xiao Tian forced a weak smile and replied evasively.
Sun Miaohan, regaining so strength, was about to speak when a sharp sword energy fiercely attacked again, yet was blocked once more by Xiao Tian with his body of flesh and blood.
Just as the sword energy neared Xiao Tian, a flash of intensity flickered across Sun Miaohan’s beautiful eyes, causing the sword energy unleashed by Qiantai to halt, unable to advance a step further.
At the sa ti, a speck of blood red ignited in the center of Sun Miaohan’s black and white eyes, and as if it had caught a plague, it swiftly spread to her entire eyes, with blood-red light shooting out like sharp swords.
Anger!
This was the only emotion Sun Miaohan could sense at this mont. If she rembered correctly, the last ti she was this angry was in her childhood.
Back then, when Sun Miaohan was mocked for having no parents, she first displayed a beast-like majesty, attacking recklessly to the point of swapping injuries for injuries, truly scaring a large number of her sa-age peers.
If it weren’t for Xu Ming stepping in to stop her in ti, a bloody incident might have occurred.
Because of that, Sun Miaohan beca famous for a battle, and even so senior classmates who were older and stronger than her treated her with respect, while most peers kept a respectful distance.
In so sense, this is one of the reasons why she barely had any friends.
More than ten years later, Sun Miaohan once again awakened this kind of anger, the kind of overwhelming aura to tear apart her nesis was so intense that the sword energy released by Qiantai retreated rapidly, unable to hold its ground for even a mont.
Qiantai imdiately felt a heavy weight, as the long sword in his grasp began to hum, seemingly excited to et a worthy opponent, yet its master did not share the sentint at all.
Regardless of whether the sword was trembling with excitent or not, there was no doubt that the current Sun Miaohan posed a sufficient threat to Qiantai, so much so that he could no longer afford to underestimate her.
In an instant, Qiantai’s understanding of the Huaxia People was once again altered.
He had heard stories of the Huaxia People, who, rich in emotions and ticulous in thought, could boost their strength dramatically with such intangible things; unexpectedly, today, he witnessed such a thing with his own eyes.
However, in truth, Qiantai’s understanding at this mont wasn’t completely wrong.
Even Sun Miaohan herself couldn’t articulate clearly where her anger originated from.
There was, of course, anger at Qiantai’s intent to kill her, but was there also a part because of him?
Thinking of this, looking at Xiao Tian, who was leaning askew on her, Sun Miaohan shook her head, deciding not to ponder these trivial matters for the ti being.
After gently placing Xiao Tian on the ground, Sun Miaohan devoted herself entirely to imrsing in this overwhelming anger, her once lucid eyes turning blood-red again, like a Demon God descending upon the world.
Monts later, Sun Miaohan closed her eyes, and her Dantian suddenly began spinning at an unprecedented speed, the seals on the main ridians throughout her body were violently broken, exploding before fully dissipating, causing several cracks in her ridians.
The pain emanating throughout her entire body was completely irrelevant to Sun Miaohan in her absolute fury; the more intense the pain, the more it stimulated her to beco stronger, with her aura climbing another notch.
Though, subjectively, Sun Miaohan was indifferent to this, the physiological response of her body still caused black blood to ooze from her lips, harming herself before injuring the enemy.
Feeling the ferocious True Qi surging violently through her body, Sun Miaohan suddenly opened her eyes, and then with a single hand slapped on the long sword hanging at her waist.
The sword hilt, engraved with a blood-soaked phoenix, trembled fiercely, then spontaneously unsheathed with a whoosh, the mysterious patterns flashed across its snow-white blade, landing steadily in Sun Miaohan’s right palm.
Perhaps by coincidence, just as Sun Miaohan gripped the long sword, the last trace of blood-red sunset disappeared from the horizon, plunging the world into darkness.
As the light completely vanished, Qiantai saw a pair of eyes shimring with red light staring at him intently, causing an instant of fear to arise subconsciously in his heart.
Nevertheless, Qiantai lived up to his legendary na in the Ninja Realm; knowing it was unwise to clash with Sun Miaohan at this ti, he calmly shifted his toes’ direction, swiftly gathered the Shaking Light Disc and the grez Stone from the ground, and in a few flickers was about to vanish far away.
Just as Qiantai leapt up before he could feel relieved, an icy voice suddenly sounded from ahead.
"Are you thinking of leaving?!"
As the icy female voice settled, Qiantai was alard by a chilling breeze attacking him head-on, imdiately lowering his stance and gripping the sword hilt behind him with one hand.
"Clang!"
A perfectly tid tallic clash sounded, as Qiantai nervously drew the long sword completely, then, following his instincts and the True Qi circulations within his range, he promptly placed the long sword horizontally in front of him.
"Clang!"
Another crisp sound echoed, and Qiantai slowly released and then re-gripped his fingers on the sword hilt, alleviating the numbness in his palm from the vibration.
Yet, before he could catch his breath, Sun Miaohan in front of him traced a strange arc with her long sword, then several afterimages split from her as the center, enclosing him inescapably.
After carefully discerning, when Qiantai realized the sword shadows surrounding him emitted equally real, fierce fluctuations, making it impossible to discern reality from illusion, he finally sheathed the long sword with a chipped edge on his back.
Taking a deep breath, Qiantai suddenly brought his hands together, then curled all his fingers except the thumbs and index fingers, forming a rather peculiar gesture.
