Now reading: Chapter 110: Defeating the First Usurper from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

According to Gorath, the first usurper was nad Krag, and they were currently in his territory.

But before they headed to Krag’s hideout, Gabriel needed to make so necessary plans.

So first things first, he asked, "Tell about this Krag."

Gorath nodded and began to explain. "He’s known as Krag the Firecaller, and like his na suggests, he is a fla mage in charge of the outskirts. His n are known for being extrely fast but with low health."

"That ans they’re easy to defeat?"

"Yes, in a sense... but that’s if you can even catch them to begin with," Gorath replied.

Gabriel had confidence in his perception stats and speed. He was certain he could easily get rid of them.

"All right, lead to the base then," Gabriel said after listening.

"Sir Broken, will it just be the two of us?" Gorath asked hesitantly.

"Yes," Gabriel nodded with a slight tilt of his head. "Is there a problem? Or do you doubt ?"

"I dare not doubt a hero of the goddess!" Gorath exclaid passionately.

Gabriel resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Good. Lead to Krag’s base."

"Yes, great hero!"

"Hm."

"I an—Sir Broken!"

---

So ti later, under Gorath’s guidance, Gabriel arrived before the orc base, which was built out of wood and rusted iron.

They hid behind a protruding rock hill and observed the walls. At least 20 orc archers manned the periter.

But they were lax, casually drinking and chatting amongst themselves.

Slightly confused, Gabriel asked, "Why are they so relaxed? Aren’t archers supposed to always be on guard?"

Gorath sighed in defeat. "That’s how it is when you have no enemies. After losing my n and being chased out of my castle, the three usurpers no longer considered a threat."

"I see," Gabriel narrowed his eyes. "What about the other orc clans?"

"They’re very far from here," said Gorath.

Orcs were known to be barbaric and prideful. Gabriel knew exactly how to take advantage of that.

"Dark Fla Orb!"

Suddenly, when the orcs least expected it, an overcharged dark blast slamd into the front gate of their settlent, blowing it wide open.

"What was that?!"

"Are we under attack?!"

The orc settlent trembled, and the archers on the walls sprang to their feet, bows drawn.

Gorath took a deep breath and brought out a large war axe twice his size, making Gabriel briefly wonder how he could even wield it.

The two glanced at each other, and without exchanging another word, they charged into the settlent.

"Dark Fla Orb! Dark Fla Orb!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Before the orcs could even fire their arrows, the dark blasts exploded on their faces, leaving them seriously injured or outright killed.

From the gates of the settlent, several orcs surged forward like a tide.

’They’re indeed fast, but Gorath overestimated them,’ he thought as he summoned his greatsword.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

The first wave was easily cut down as if they were made of paper. It was like fighting a group of children with weapons.

He slashed, kicked, and stomped!

Beside him, Gorath swung his massive axe savagely.

He seed to be quite the capable fighter—none of the orcs even landed a hit.

---

So ti later, Gabriel and Gorath had killed all the orcs, including the archers.

"Phew!" Gorath panted heavily, resting his hands on his knees. "That was very easy. Although you did most of the work, I didn’t think we’d be able to destroy Krag’s n within an hour."

"Hm." Gabriel scanned the now-exposed settlent. There was still a presence inside—and it was far stronger than the rest.

’How is he not tired?’ Gorath wondered. ’Are all heroes summoned by the goddess this powerful?’

Suddenly, the two felt intense heat coming from the heart of the settlent, and their gazes snapped in that direction.

Gorath’s expression darkened. "It’s him—Krag," he said in a cold voice.

Gabriel squinted slightly and saw an orc about 5’6" tall. Its forehead bulged with red veins, and its eyes were bloodshot with anger.

"Gorath! How dare you involve an outsider in our affairs?!" Krag roared. "Do you have no sha?!"

"Tsk. You and your friends are the shaless ones!" Gorath retorted. "You lowlifes had to team up to throw off my throne after everything I’ve done for you."

"You shouldn’t have co back. I’ll kill you and this weak human!" Krag sneered, bringing his arms together as a fla built between his palms. "I’ll obliterate you both in a single skill!"

"I know orcs are proud and arrogant, but shouting out your plans has to be one of the dumbest moves," Gabriel shook his head.

Either way, he silently activated one of his skills.

At the sa ti, Krag unleashed a large horizontal fla beam from his palms.

The flaming beam tore through the land, splitting the air apart.

"Dodge, Sir Broken!" Gorath shouted, panicked that the hero-ranked warrior was still standing still.

Seeing the scene, Krag laughed boisterously. "Hahahaha! Keep standing there, disgusting human!"

BOOM!

The beam of fla smashed into Gabriel’s position, incinerating the ground and kicking up a storm of smoke and ash.

Gorath’s face paled. "S-Sir Broken?!"

He grew even more confused the next mont—the flaming blast rebounded back toward Krag.

The explosion threw the orc backward like a broken kite. He slamd into the nearest hut with a loud crash, splintering wood and iron, then rolled across the dirt as blood spurted from his nose and mouth.

The orc’s eyes were filled with disbelief as he looked down at the gaping wound in his chest... before he died.

"One down, two more to go," Gabriel said, deactivating Iron Body.
