Now reading: Chapter 193: Bai Young’s Death from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

Gabriel’s lips curved into a cold smirk as Bai Young’s triumphant laugh cut off. The martial artist froze, eyes wide, his massive fra shuddering. A black aura spread from Gabriel’s hand into Bai Young’s fist—the sa fist that had crushed him monts ago. Now that grip trembled.

"You... what have you done?!" Bai Young snarled, his voice breaking. Panic burned in his eyes. He tried to wrench free, but Gabriel’s other hand clamped down like iron.

Decay spread fast. Bai Young’s bronze skin turned gray, the rot crawling up his arm like wildfire. Flesh dried, cracked, and flaked into dust.

The rot was moving extrely fast because Gabriel had overcharged the skill with a whopping 1000 mana points!

With a roar, Bai Young swung his golden sword down on himself. The blade hacked through bone without any obstruction; his severed arm hit the ground, already breaking apart into black fragnts.

"Arrghhh!" His scream echoed through the camp. Blood poured from the stump, but he clenched his jaw, convinced he had cut away the infection.

However, little did he know, it was already too late.

Gabriel had been holding onto him for quite so ti now, and the decay had already spread to his shoulder and chest before he severed the limb. Dark lines raced across his torso.

"No... no!" Bai Young stumbled, dropping both swords. In a panic, he pressed his hand against his chest, but chunks of his own body ca away in his grip.

From the sidelines, Ragnarok99 and Bunny stood frozen. Around them, the fight had stopped completely. Bandits, rcenaries, and refugees all stared at the horrific scene.

anwhile, Bunny’s stream chat exploded:

[Did he just make that guy cut off his own arm?!]

[What the hell kind of skill is that?!]

[Decay. It has to be. I think he used this sa skill back in the event!]

[Bai Young’s finished. This is insane.]

[Hahahaha! Sir Broken is the strongest!]

Gabriel walked forward, his steps calm and steady.

"You should never have laid a hand on ," he stated.

Bai Young tried to reply, but only muffled words ca out. He wanted to plead for Gabriel to make this stop!

The rot climbed his neck, half his face collapsed. One eye burst into black liquid. His cheek fell away, exposing teeth in a hideous half-grin. He collapsed to his knees, body breaking apart.

With one final wheeze, Bai Young disintegrated. His massive fra collapsed into ash, scattering into the morning air. All that remained were two severed arms twitching on the ground.

Silence fell over the camp. The strongest fighter they had was gone in seconds.

Gabriel didn’t say a word. He waved his arm, placing one of the twitching limbs inside his inventory.

A green notification blinked at the edge of his retina, confirming the kill and experience points.

But because he was yet to complete his advancent quest, all experience points were stored.

Gabriel dismissed it with a blink. Right then, the entire bandit camp erupted.

"He killed Bai Young! Monster!"

"Run! Run!"

So bandits bolted for the gates, others dropped their weapons and begged for rcy. Panic rippled outward. Refugees looked up, eyes wide with sothing they hadn’t felt in months—hope.

---

Kairos watched everything on the monitor. Bai Young was gone, replaced with a cloud of dust. Other screens showed his n scattering like insects.

Kairos’s stomach turned cold. This can’t be real. Everything he built was crumbling in minutes.

He shoved the two won off his lap, not looking at them as his mind raced.

The gates hadn’t stopped Gabriel. Armored vehicles hadn’t stopped him. Bai Young hadn’t stopped him.

Kairos’s face went pale as he realized only one option remained: flight.

"Boss, help us... that bastard’s heading here next," one of Kairos’s lieutenants rushed into the room, half-injured, followed by few Others.

"Cowards! All of you!" Kairos cursed under his breath, though fear stabbed through him.

The image of Bai Young’s final monts replayed in his mind. If that monster could do that to a Hero Rank martial artist, what chance did Kairos stand? He was no Hero Rank, not even close. He was just the cunning younger brother of two powerful n, placed here to play warden. Without Bai Young, he was nothing in a direct fight.

"Screw this." Kairos made his decision in an instant. He wasn’t about to die for this hellhole. His life was worth more. His brothers would understand—no, they’d avenge him. Yes, retreat now, survive, inform his brothers of what happened. Then they’d rain hell on this red-haired freak.

"Delay him!" he shouted at his n.

None of them moved... I an, how could they stop soone who turned the strongest person into dust!

"Trash!" he sneered, pulling a magic pistol and shooting one of them in the head.

BANG! Blood sprayed across the monitors and the lifeless body of that unfortunate bandit collapsed to the ground.

With terrified salutes, a few loyal or fear-stricken subordinates stumbled out of the chamber to try to slow Gabriel’s advance, though every instinct scread it was suicide.

Kairos didn’t wait to see if they succeeded. He had his own skin to save. He bolted for a side door that led to a stairwell. From there, he knew a route to the vehicle garage behind the mansion.

His heart pounded as he ran down the stairs two at a ti. "I won’t die here, I won’t die here," he muttered under his breath like a scared mantra.

Outside, Gabriel stood before the towering wooden "mansion" where the boss would be.

"Boss." BrawlerX walked up to him.

"What is it?" Gabriel asked calmly, not even looking at him.

"I interrogated one of the bandits and he said the martial artist isn’t the leader of this camp," replied BrawlerX.

Gabriel raised a brow. "So that ans the leader is still inside."

As he said this, he was about to move when a gang of ten bandits, apparently the last wave of defenders, charged at him.

Their resolve was clearly hanging by a thread, but cornered rats will bite.

Gabriel’s lip twitched with annoyance. With a dismissive flick of his wrist, he sent a Dark Fla Orb sailing into their midst.

BOOOOM! The orb exploded in a rush of black fire and searing heat. Bandits were blown off their feet, armor and flesh incinerated in an instant. The few who survived that blast rolled on the ground, screaming as dark flas ate away at them.

With the last wave out of the way, Gabriel dashed inside, ready to finish off the boss!
