Now reading: Chapter 219: Bug Fixers from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

Bug fixers? Was IceQueen indirectly saying that Broken Heaven was a bug and they wanted to get rid of him?

"Everything makes sense now," one of the players murmured.

"No wonder he could fight opponents far above his level."

"Dang — why are they taking so long to get rid of him? Shouldn’t it be possible with one push of the button?"

The mbers of the Chaos Knight felt better about themselves when they heard that Broken Heaven was a bug; the pride they had lost was gradually coming back.

"Guild leader, are you sure of what you’re saying?" asked ChaosCleric.

"Yes." IceQueen nodded confidently, then added with a subtle frown, "Although Father said he is a bug, I don’t know the exact thod he would use to get rid of him... however, one thing I’m certain of is this — Father always keeps his word!"

The ChaosCleric felt things did really make sense. He wasn’t a ga developer, but he knew so basic stuff.

If they were truly the creators of this ga, why couldn’t they simply erase Broken Heaven’s character? Or could he be a deadly virus that was difficult to remove?

ChaosCleric felt like asking IceQueen, but she was solely occupied with hunting Broken Heavens down, so he doubted she would know the answer either.

Thinking about the whole ga, ChaosCleric sighed and his mind couldn’t help but wander to a strange thought.

What if... this world was real and they were simply reacting to its natural events?

At that mont he face-pald and softly berated himself. ’Arg, I’m not even drunk and I’m having such wild thoughts that should be only possible when I’m high on illegal substances.’

---

News about the Broken Dawn guild spread across the entire Valerian Kingdom and caused quite a wave.

If the guild had been created by so no-na, it wouldn’t have been this big; however, since it was the main MVP of the just-concluded Inter-Guild Display Event, even those in the higher echelon of the kingdom heard about it.

They didn’t rush to form alliances with Broken Dawn despite knowing it had the potential to beco sothing great.

The reason they held back was what he had done to the Holy Church during the event.

After the humiliation High Cardinal Alfonso suffered at Gabriel’s hands, every sane citizen knew he wouldn’t be left off the hook so easily.

Even though Gabriel was very promising, would they want to risk offending the Holy Church? Not really.

They couldn’t afford the wrath of the Holy Pope.

In the black market rchant store, Damien’s fingers tapped across his desk; a serious expression marred his face as he watched the news headline.

Birth of the ’Broken Dawn’ Guild.

"Reports have just reached us that the MVP of the Inter-Guild Display Event has resigned from the Adventurer Guild to start his own guild — Broken Dawn. The question is... is this a rash or calculated decision? Did power get into his head so quickly?"

He clicked the remote, changing to the next station; it was the sa news, this ti a debate.

"I have seen several geniuses rise and fall in short amounts of ti because they beca too arrogant. Gabriel Reyes is walking that path — bet it won’t be up to a year. Either his guild will be destroyed or overtaken by one of the big five."

"The otherworlders seem to love him. If he’s smart enough and utilizes their immortal status, he might thrive."

"Indeed, the otherworlder seems to respect him a lot, but we all saw what Aria of the Olympus Guild did back in the competition... and I’m sure there are people with even greater skill. If he thinks he can hide behind the otherworlders, then he’s up for a rude awakening."

At this mont, Damien turned off the TV completely. He sighed. He had been thinking for a while whether he wanted to continue being partners with Gabriel now that the latter was independent — no longer under the protection of the Adventurer Guild.

’I guess life’s all about risk,’ he smirked. As a rchant, he followed market trends very well.

Right then he made his decision. "Let’s see how things go. Hopefully the Edgeburne military and the Tempest family don’t sweep in just yet and spoil the fun."

---

Back in the Adventurer Guild, unaware of the waves he was causing, Gabriel calmly studied the new guild status screen that had appeared before him.

[’Congratulations on establishing the Broken Dawn Guild.’]

Master: Gabriel Reyes / Broken Heaven

Capacity: 8/30

...

Gabriel scanned the interface calmly, his finger hovering in the air as if he was scrolling through invisible nus.

"Level one, huh," he muttered. "I wonder what level the big guilds are."

He was very curious; unfortunately, this was sothing exclusive to the guild masters of those guilds.

As for the capacity, Gabriel understood that this didn’t include the people back in the camp and only counted those he had asked to join his guild.

In the background, the murmurs from the players who had yet to live the scene soon grew louder; a few were still trying to coach themselves, hoping they’d be picked.

But Gabriel ignored them. He closed the window and walked toward the counter where the clerk was waiting nervously.

"Your guild registration is complete," the clerk said, forcing a polite smile. "Would you like to announce open recruitnt now?"

Gabriel shook his head and said firmly, "Not yet."

The clerk blinked and nodded more than necessary. "Ah — understood."

"If he’s not recruiting now, then when does he plan to?"

"Would we need to fill application forms?" Naturally, his decision sparked debate among the players there, but Gabriel gave them a deaf ear.

He simply gestured for the three players to follow him to the Kesla truck, and under the gazes of hundreds of players they drove off toward the wilderness.

Across the capital, the Holy Church held its own eting. In his holy chambers, High Cardinal Alfonso slamd his staff against the marble floor, and a spider-like crack appeared across it.

"That insolent child humiliated before the entire kingdom and still has the guts to create his own separate guild." His face turned crimson. "Broken Dawn? I will break his dawn myself!"
