Now reading: Chapter 294: Gabriel’s Overwhelming Strength(2) from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

Gabriel didn’t dodge. He moved closer instead, startling everyone who was watching.

Andrew’s weapon was incredibly powerful, and Gabriel had witnessed its destructive potential. So why would he risk his life?

"Gabriel..." Sophie called out, her voice laced with anxiety.

"Should we do sothing?" A deep frown appeared on Ragnarok99’s face.

Right at that mont, Anna’s firm voice echoed.

’No, don’t do anything... if you interfere now, you’ll only get in the way of Master. Let him finish what he started.’

There was hesitation on so of their faces, but they could only watch, knowing the huntress was right.

Gabriel stepped into the thrust, chest twisting sideways. The blade skimd his ribs instead of piercing through, shearing off another strip of existence. Pain flared white-hot.

But he was already inside Andrew’s reach now.

He grabbed Andrew’s wrist with both hands.

He’d been targeting that arm from the start.

Now he used everything.

"Iron Skin!"

He used a skill for the first ti since the fight began.

Because Yumi was more focused on Garth’s condition, she had subconsciously dropped her guard, making it easier for Gabriel to act.

His muscles tightened, his grip turning into iron.

Then he twisted.

CRUNCH.

Andrew scread as his wrist finally snapped in the direction it was never ant to bend.

The Deletion Edge slipped from his fingers.

"No—!"

Gabriel’s foot moved like he’d practiced that motion a thousand tis.

He kicked the blade midair.

It flew away, spinning, then slamd into a far wall and embedded itself there.

Andrew stared at his empty, broken hand, pupils trembling.

For the first ti, real fear crept into his expression.

"...You," he said, voice low and shaking. "Do you have any idea what you just did?"

Gabriel looked at him with a calm, almost bored gaze. "Took away your toy?"

Andrew’s throat went dry.

Yumi paled, and she didn’t even realize when the words slipped out of her mouth. "Andrew, we have to leave. Now."

He didn’t answer imdiately; his gaze was blank.

’Retreat.’

Logically, that was the best move. But the problem was... would the blue-eyed nace let him retreat?

"Fuck this—we’ll co back later!" He made a quick decision and was about to move.

That was all he managed to do.

Gabriel was in front of him instantly. His hand pressed lightly against Andrew’s chest.

"Where are you going?" Gabriel asked, his voice still calm. "We’re not done."

Andrew’s body froze.

Sothing about the way Gabriel said it—quiet, not loud or threatening—made his skin crawl.

"This isn’t a PvP match where you can just walk away," Gabriel continued. "You ca here to delete . If I let you leave, you’ll just try again sowhere else."

He leaned closer.

For the first ti, Andrew realized he had to tilt his head slightly upward to et Gabriel’s eyes. Had he always been this tall?

"You were cocky a few minutes ago... arrogance without real strength is stupidity. Now die."

Gabriel’s cold voice, carrying the weight of divine judgnt, rang through the floor.

With Iron Skin active, his palm beca a hamr. All the power he’d built up—from his level-ups, from his extractions—all of it focused on that one point.

BOOOOOOM.

The sound wasn’t like a normal impact. It was like sothing inside Andrew buckled.

He flew backward, skidding across the floor like a broken doll, then flipped and crashed onto his back.

Yumi felt her world breaking apart as she watched the scene unfold.

She lifted her hand instinctively to cast sothing—anything—but the suppression field she had ramped up was now strangling her too. She’d pushed it too far.

Her head spun.

Gabriel turned his gaze toward her.

For a second, Yumi felt sothing she had never expected to feel in this world.

Pure danger.

She threw up both hands. "W-wait—"

He was in front of her, his big hand already tightly wrapped around her head.

"You wouldn’t dar—"

BANG!

Gabriel rcilessly smashed her head into the wall, the sound of her skull cracking echoing through the room.

Her mouth opened and closed silently as searing pain shot through her.

Gabriel seed surprised that she was still alive. He had expected her to die from that smash alone, but it appeared he had underestimated her resilience.

So he went for another strike.

BANG!

This ti her head cracked completely, and she died a grueso death. The others—especially the won—sucked in a deep breath when they saw the sight.

Although Yumi had been their enemy, none of them had ever imagined killing her like this.

Unknown to Gabriel, fear was born in their hearts that day.

A strange light flashed across Sophie’s eyes, but she didn’t look away.

With his hand dripping blood, Gabriel slowly turned toward the only one left.

Andrew struggled to push himself up again, coughing blood. His broken wrist hung uselessly. He tried to crawl toward the Deletion Edge, fingertips stretching.

"Don’t," Gabriel said.

He didn’t shout it.

He just said it.

Andrew froze.

His fingers trembled midair, inches away from the hilt.

Gabriel walked toward him, each step steady.

Sophie watched, heart pounding.

Ragnarok watched, strangely quiet.

Anna’s eyes were cold.

Cassie bit her lip.

Samantha’s eyes shone with a mad sort of admiration.

This was their leader.

This was Broken Heaven.

Andrew clenched his teeth. Pride scread at him to grab the weapon anyway, to swing until his arm tore off.

His hand twitched.

He looked up at Gabriel.

The anomaly was getting closer—red hair falling lazily over his forehead, expression unreadable.

He saw the future in a flash—reports, angry higher-ups, bla.

His breathing hitched.

He did sothing he hadn’t done in a long ti.

He felt scared.

Gabriel stopped about a ter away.

He tilted his head slightly. "You see it now?"

Andrew glared up at him. "See what?"

"You should have stayed where you were. Your death would’ve been less painful."

When he heard this, the Deleter couldn’t help but think back to Nox’s first words.

"..."

He... he truly hadn’t been bluffing then. His arrogance wasn’t baseless—he had the strength and power to back it up.

As that realization hit, Andrew saw a large foot descending upon him.

The last thing he saw was darkness.
