"I need to start heading out now," Gabriel mumbled to himself, scanning the carnage his Crimson Judgent Greatsword had caused.

Trees were snapped, deep craters ran through the ground, and mountains of corpses littered the area.

From the bodies, a thick, bloody mist rose and drifted into the sky.

"Not even a single point was deducted." His eyes flashed as he admired the Greatsword with genuine appreciation.

For the past couple of days, he had gone all out, hunting monsters relentlessly—morning, night, and afternoon. The Crimson Judgent hadn’t taken a break either. It had effortlessly carved through every creature.

A part of him had expected at least a little durability deduction, but contrary to his expectations, the weapon’s stats didn’t even budge.

"Truly worthy of a Gold-rank weapon," he smiled, glancing at the horizon where the sun was slowly setting.

"Well, I need to head back to the city now. If not, I’ll be late for the mission."

After that, he began making his way out of the forest.

On the way, he opened his panel to check his status screen.

"It’s becoming increasingly difficult to level up," he frowned. He’d been slaughtering monsters for almost a week and had only leveled up twice.

Could it be that the Berserker class promises imnse strength but slower progress?

Now that he thought about it, no class awakening in Realm of Ascendancy gave a whopping 100 free attribute points at the start. At best, it was just a few attribute points, often tied to the nature of the class.

For example, if soone awakened a mage-type class, the free attribute points would likely go into Intelligence.

He decided to start tracking his progress more closely from now on.

Next, he glanced at his accumulated free stat points.

’I should probably save these. Who knows when they’ll co in handy.’

His gaze then settled on his Strength and Agility stats—both part of his class awakening perks—and a smug smile ford on his face.

With such monstrous stats, he felt overwhelming power flood through his veins. He genuinely believed he could bring down an entire building with just a couple of punches.

These stats shouldn’t even be possible for soone at Level 50—and yet, here he was at Level 22 already possessing them.

He could only pity his future enemies, who would challenge him with no idea of his overwhelming strength.

After exiting the wilderness, his first stop was naturally Damian’s Shop, where he sold off so treasures he had extracted.

After receiving the amount on his premium card, he headed to the closest hotel.

The staff there didn’t discriminate against his bloody appearance—it was rather common to see adventurers walking around covered in blood.

After washing up and changing into a fresh pair of clothes, he headed to the Adventurer Guild.

"Thought you wouldn’t show up," Lilly remarked as soon as he arrived at the entrance. She was wearing light armor that hugged her curvaceous figure.

"Sothing ca up," he replied.

"It’s fine. Not everyone has arrived anyway," she said, turning around. "Please follow ."

He followed her inside the building.

On the way, he asked, "Can you tell more about this ruin?"

Without looking back, she replied curtly, "Even I don’t know much about it. The only person with the details is the vice guild leader herself."

"Hey, Lilly! Where have you been?!"

Suddenly, a sharp shout echoed behind them, halting their steps. One of Lilly’s brows twitched as she turned toward the voice. Gabriel remained still.

"Has he arrived?" Alice asked, practically bouncing on her feet. Her tight jumpsuit-tunic clung to every curve, the fabric visibly strained across her large chest with every breath.

Twin daggers rested against her hips, swaying slightly with her excited movents.

Lilly blinked. "...Who?"

Alice scoffed and threw her head to the side in mock irritation. "You know who I an! Him!" Her voice ca out more dramatic than she intended.

Her eyes sparkled with anticipation.

"The red-haired one!" she finally admitted, cheeks flushing.

Lilly gave a noncommittal hum.

"Don’t you rember? Sister invited him for the mission, right? Don’t play stupid. Wait... now that I think about it, I caught you staring at his picture on your monitor the other day."

"Y-you..." Lilly’s eyes turned red. Her legs trembled. All she wanted now was for the ground to open and swallow her whole.

’This little brat!’ she thought, glaring at Alice—still oblivious to the looming figure just ahead.

Pressing her lips into a thin line, Lilly called out, "Alice..."

Alice didn’t notice.

She continued dreamily, "At first I found him really annoying—and his face extrely punchable—but now there’s just sothing about him. I feel... so attracted to him. Do you think he’ll even notice ?"

"Alice," Lilly said again, louder this ti.

Still no reaction. Alice was too far gone.

"He’s the only reason I even agreed to tag along."

"Miss Lilly." Gabriel finally exhaled through his nose.

That was the mont Alice finally noticed the figure standing beside Lilly.

"KYAAA!!—" She jumped three feet into the air, spinning around like she’d been electrocuted.

There he was.

"Would you mind showing the eting room so I can leave you two to... talk?" Gabriel said, his expression impassive.

Alice’s eyes lit up. She quickly regained her composure and stretched out a hand with a bright smile.

"My na is Alice Voss."

"Gabriel Reyes." He nodded, accepting the handshake. He was slightly surprised by the sheer confidence she radiated.

He tried to pull back, but couldn’t. Frowning, he looked at her face. She wore a wide grin.

Finally, she let go.

"You’re stronger than you look," he muttered, rubbing his wrist.

Alice giggled. "You’re not the first to say that."

Lilly sighed heavily. "Enough with the flirting. We’re already late."

She turned and began walking briskly down the hallway. Gabriel followed while Alice skipped along beside him, humming softly.

"Is this also your first ti exploring a ruin?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Yes," he replied, even though technically it wasn’t.

"Oooh, sa here! But don’t worry—I’m pretty strong, so I’ll protect you," she said, puffing out her chest proudly.

"I’ll be in your care then," he replied, half-mindedly.

They reached a large set of double doors. Lilly pushed them open without ceremony.

Inside the eting room, several people had already gathered. So leaned against the walls, others sat at the long table in the center. Maps, scrolls, and glowing mana stones were scattered across the surface.

"Gabriel!"

Suddenly, a familiar voice called from one of the seats.
