[AN: Would really appreciate it if anyone could point out any mistakes in the status screen so it can be fixed.]

The evolution had not just changed Gabriel's physical appearance, even his system status now had visible changes.

Most importantly, Gabriel saw that he could now learn ten more skills, bringing his total number of skills to a full twenty.

"What did you see?" Seraphina asked curiously when she noticed the intense expression on his face.

"Nothing. I have got a few skills gathering dust in my inventory. I have been wanting to learn them for a long ti. Now with the upgrade I can finally learn them comfortably," Gabriel replied in an enthusiastic tone, almost like a child who had just received a new toy.

"That is not bad… but I still do not get the point of you learning multiple skills. There are not more than three or four skills you actually like using in battle," Seraphina stated. "At least from my observation so far."

Gabriel nodded, agreeing with her. Most tis while fighting, he focused mainly on his swordsmanship and Blood Rush for short bursts of speed to catch enemies off guard.

The only ti he used multiple skills was when he was extrely lazy or wanted to get rid of enemies quickly. He was soone who naturally loved the thrill of fighting and did not want to stand back like mages who only spamd magical spells.

It was such a boring way of fighting. Of course, for skillful mages even that could beco exciting to watch, but Gabriel did not really fancy that style.

Furthermore, not using all his skills at once gave him hidden trump cards against enemies, sothing that could tip the scale of any battle, as seen when he activated his second class.

So with all this, one might wonder why learn more skills.

The answer was rather simple. The more skills one possessed, the better. You did not know when one might beco helpful in a life threatening situation or even in day to day life.

Gabriel explained this to Seraphina, and her eyes flashed sharply. "That is really a good idea… I should not use most of my skills often as well."

"I would not really advise you to do that. As long as it gets you out of the situation, I would say go all out," Gabriel corrected. "The goal is not to avoid using your skills. What is the fun in that? The goal is to use them as often as possible and make it hard for known enemies to predict what you might do next."

The two did not exchange many words after that as Gabriel shifted his focus back to his system screen.

His health points had increased to two hundred now, and beside the health bar there was a small question mark symbol.

He wished to know what it was, and a new screen flared to life before him.

[With each level up, your health bar now increases by 20 points.]

It was not new information, so he moved on.

The advancent quest was not so magical spell that made one suddenly powerful. This world worked by logic, sothing Gabriel had co to understand for a while now.

All it did was remove the natural bottleneck stopping him from advancing while improving and preparing his soul and body for the next realm of power.

As he was thinking, a new system ssage flashed before him.

[Ding. You have two unread ssages.]

Gabriel briefly scanned through them. The first ssage that caught his eye was

[Do you wish to equip the title Lord of the Eastern Camp?]

[Ding. You have large reserves of experience points. Do you wish to level up?]

Seeing the last ssage, his eyes lit up. This was what he had been looking forward to all this ti.

"Finally, I will not be stuck at level fifty anymore," Gabriel said aloud.

"With the amount of experience points you gained, I am pretty certain you will pass level sixty at least," Seraphina said.

Gabriel did not disagree. He nodded. "Well, there is only one way to find out."

Gabriel took a deep breath, ignored the first ssage, and selected the second one.

"Yes," he answered.

[Please brace yourself, or if possible find sowhere to sit down. Multiple level ups at once could cause disorientation.]

The earlier weakness from the advancent quest was still there. Gabriel was not soone who glorified pain, so he quickly exited the bathroom, sat on the bed, and prepared himself.

Gabriel leaned back slightly, planting both feet firmly on the ground as if preparing for impact. He rolled his shoulders once, then exhaled slowly. He had gone through enough system nonsense to know that whenever it gave a warning like that, it was never just for show.

"Alright… do it," he muttered.

[Ding. Level Up.]

[Ding. You receive 5 free stat points.]

[Ding. Level Up.]

[Ding. Level Up.]

The notifications ca instantly, one after another, not even giving him ti to react.

[Ding. You have leveled up.]

[Ding. You receive rewards.]

[Ding. You have leveled up.]

[Ding. You have leveled up.]

For a full minute the notifications continued, forcing Gabriel to grip the edge of the bed as he felt a sudden pressure inside him. It was not pain, but more like sothing within him was being filled and forced to expand.

It was an extrely uncomfortable feeling.

However, after several more seconds, the notifications finally stopped.

Gabriel blinked once, then stretched his fingers. The motion alone felt sharper and more controlled, like his body had been recalibrated.

"Done?" Seraphina asked, curious.

He did not answer imdiately. He was already staring at the updated screen.
