"I will accompany you," Sophie requested.

And together they moved through the central wing. Guards and servants bowed and stepped aside. So tried not to stare at Gabriel, but they always did. His na had been spoken too many tis today.

At the main doors, the guards opened the panels. Gabriel stepped outside first.

The first class area was relatively fine. It was when they got to the second class and third class areas that Gabriel thoroughly saw the state of the base.

The base looked busy. Damage from the battle still existed in a few places, but people were already fixing it.

Children ran between tents, laughing. Adults tried to stop them, but most of them gave up and just watched.

Gabriel walked through the main path at a steady pace. People noticed him quickly. Conversations stopped. Heads lowered. So bowed deeply. Others bowed once and looked away, afraid to draw attention.

"That is the new lord."

"He is young."

Sophie kept a respectful distance, tracking reactions without interfering. Seraphina walked close to Gabriel, her eyes moving across faces like she was counting threats.

They passed a supply tent where workers stacked crates. A man near the entrance almost dropped a box when he saw Gabriel. He steadied it and bowed.

"My Lord," the man said nervously.

Gabriel nodded once and kept walking.

"Food distribution has been reorganized," Sophie pointed out. "We removed the private line Henry used. Now everyone follows the sa system."

"How long before soone tries to create another private line," Gabriel asked.

"They will try," Sophie replied. "That is why Arnold suggested rotating clerks weekly and keeping two record copies, one with him and one with ."

Seraphina’s lips curled slightly. "This Arnold guy gets more interesting as the days go by."

Gabriel did not comnt, but he felt the sa. He was soone who naturally liked and valued people who excelled in areas he cared about, and this Arnold was proving to be exactly that.

They reached the outer section of the eastern side of the camp where the incomplete city stood, the place where half of the battle had occurred. So of the structures were being repaired. n hamred boards into place. Others carried spikes and rope. A few players stood nearby, watching the wilderness outside the fence to make sure a monster did not slip in and attack those working.

Leading these people were Samantha and Bunny.

Gabriel stopped and looked out. "Any monster activity?"

Seraphina’s blood rope had shattered here, which ant there had been a lot of blood spilled in this area, especially considering that several high ranking enemies had died here.

It was only natural that it would attract monsters.

Sophie nodded. "Small groups tried again this morning. They were handled quickly. The scent is fading, but otherworlders will stay active for days."

Gabriel nodded. A quest had probably been assigned to the otherworlders, and with their immortal status it was the perfect job for them.

Sophie looked toward the fence and added, "If sothing bigger cos, you will know. If that happens and I am not able to handle it."

They passed a cooking station. Smoke rose from a pot. The sll was plain, but people lined up calmly. A thin man bowed and spoke carefully.

"My Lord, thank you for saving us."

Gabriel looked at him and simply nodded.

"Focus on getting stronger so you can keep your family alive."

The man nodded quickly with a wide smile. "Yes, my Lord."

Sophie watched that exchange, her eyes softening slightly beneath her veil. However, she did not comnt.

They walked past more tents and patrol posts. Out here in the third class areas, especially in the eastern wing, things were slightly chaotic.

Although Gabriel wanted to keep the natural structure of the camp, the first class, second class, and third class system naturally created a hierarchy that pushed people to strive harder. That did not an he would ignore their living conditions.

He would still improve their lives.

But if they wanted the best living conditions, they would have to work toward becoming residents of the first class area.

...

anwhile...

The ChaosKnight guild base stood in one of the busiest parts of the Vermilion Kingdom, a tall building of black glass and steel that looked down over the crowded streets below.

Vehicles moved along the wide roads. Players filled the walkways, and rchants sold potions and weapons to passing adventurers.

From the upper floors, the whole district could be seen, and the hub had not slowed down. It was the kind of place where information moved fast, money moved faster, and every strong guild wanted a foothold.

Inside one of the upper offices, the mood was colder than the city outside.

IceQueen stood by the window with her arms folded, her face calm, though the faint tightness around her eyes made it clear she was still thinking about what happened at the eastern camp.

The room behind her was large and clean, with a long table, several seats, and screens showing guild reports from different regions. ChaosCleric stood near the center of the room holding a tablet, while an armored guild mber remained by the wall without making a sound.

ChaosCleric broke the silence first.

"We did everything we could on the na VV. Search history, player forums, combat records, ranking lists, private networks, even older ga accounts. Nothing useful ca up."

IceQueen did not turn.

"Nothing at all?"

"Almost nothing," ChaosCleric replied. "The only thing we found is that the account logged in recently. No proper history before that. No clear trail. It is like the person only just appeared."

IceQueen stayed quiet for a mont, then asked, "And the login point?"

"We traced it poorly," ChaosCleric said. "Without help from the developers themselves we can only track in ga activity, not their real identity."

She finally turned away from the window and faced him.

"So after all that, you are telling the only solid thing you found is that VV logged in recently."

ChaosCleric gave a small nod. "Yes."

IceQueen walked past the table and stopped near the center of the office. Her tone remained even.

"That tells enough. This is not so random beginner."

ChaosCleric glanced at the armored guild mber by the wall, then back at her.

"Do you have any idea who it is?"
