God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World! Chapter 462: VV Joins Chaosknight??
IceQueen stepped forward after asking the question, stopping a few ters away from the armored figure. ChaosCleric stood slightly behind her while several ChaosKnight mbers gathered near the entrance, watching carefully. The players on the street grew even quieter when they saw IceQueen appear personally.
So whispers spread quickly through the crowd.
"That is IceQueen. She actually ca out herself."
"That person must be important."
"Who is that guy in the armor? I have never heard of him."
The red armored figure remained still, the helt facing IceQueen. The massive sword stayed on their back and their posture did not change.
IceQueen waited. Seconds passed without an answer.
ChaosCleric crossed his arms slightly, watching the silent figure. The onlookers were also growing curious because the person standing in front of IceQueen was not speaking at all.
One player whispered from the crowd. "Why are they not answering?"
"Maybe they are scared."
"Scared? That guy walked straight to ChaosKnight headquarters."
The murmurs continued quietly around them.
IceQueen did not rush the mont. She simply stood there with a calm expression, watching the armored figure closely.
After several more seconds, the armored figure finally spoke.
"I ca to give you an answer."
The voice was flat and slightly distorted by the helt.
IceQueen’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"An answer?"
VV remained still, only their jaw moving.
"I considered your request."
So players nearby leaned forward slightly, trying to hear the conversation better.
ChaosCleric frowned a little.
VV continued speaking slowly, almost deliberately.
"I have decided to join your guild."
For a brief mont IceQueen’s expression changed. It was small, but ChaosCleric noticed it imdiately. It disappeared just as quickly so no one else noticed.
The guild master of the ChaosKnight straightened slightly and spoke calmly.
"You made the right choice."
Her tone remained cold, but there was a clear trace of satisfaction beneath it.
The surrounding players reacted imdiately.
"Did he just say he is joining ChaosKnight?"
"That guy?"
"What is going on?"
ChaosKnight mbers also exchanged looks.
However VV was not finished speaking.
"There is a condition."
IceQueen’s gaze narrowed again.
"What condition?"
VV did not answer imdiately. The helt tilted slightly toward the guild building before facing IceQueen again.
"If I join ChaosKnight, I will be the third in command."
The murmurs from the players nearby instantly grew louder.
"What?"
"Did he say third in command?"
"That is crazy."
ChaosCleric’s expression changed imdiately, feeling that this person was too arrogant.
VV continued calmly, unbothered by the whispers and the gazes they were receiving from all sides.
"I want authority to make decisions that affect the guild."
Several ChaosKnight mbers stepped forward slightly, clearly unhappy with what they had just heard. The demand sounded too outrageous, especially coming from an unknown player with a not so impressive level.
One of them spoke under his breath.
"Who does this guy think he is?"
ChaosCleric finally stepped forward after holding back for a while.
"That is quite a demand," he said calmly. "You are asking for authority over people who have been in this guild since the beginning."
VV did not react.
ChaosCleric continued, slightly irritated by the lack of response.
"You want to walk in here and imdiately beco the third most powerful person in ChaosKnight?"
Silence followed again. VV simply stood there.
IceQueen watched the armored figure carefully. Unlike the others, even though she was irritated, she understood that this was the personality of the strange player.
Even though she was only tolerating VV because the latter was very skilled and despite being a lower level than her, she did not think she could last even five minutes against them.
If this had been any other player, IceQueen would have struck them down herself and sent them into the respawn circle.
ChaosCleric turned slightly toward her and voiced out his opinion.
"This is too much."
Several guild mbers nodded in agreent.
One of them muttered, "Even we had to earn our position."
IceQueen did not answer imdiately.
She looked at VV for a long mont.
"You are asking for a lot," she said calmly.
VV replied without hesitation.
"I do not join without influence."
ChaosCleric shook his head slightly.
"This is ridiculous. No matter how talented they are, this attitude is just too much."
VV added another sentence in the sa calm tone, completely disregarding ChaosCleric, who felt that his position was now under threat.
"If that condition is unacceptable, I will leave."
So players watching the scene whispered again.
"Is he serious?"
"He is negotiating with IceQueen like that?"
IceQueen’s eyes narrowed slightly as she studied the armored figure.
ChaosCleric leaned closer to her.
"This is exactly the type of problem I was warning you about," he said quietly. "We do not even know who this person is."
IceQueen did not respond.
Her gaze stayed fixed on VV.
"You believe you are capable of handling that position?" she asked.
VV answered imdiately.
"Yes."
The confidence in the reply made so of the ChaosKnight mbers frown even more.
IceQueen ignored them.
She continued watching VV.
The crowd remained quiet.
After several seconds, IceQueen finally spoke again.
"Fine."
The word made ChaosCleric turn his head sharply.
IceQueen continued calmly.
"You will be the third in command of ChaosKnight."
The ChaosKnight mbers nearby reacted imdiately, not expecting the proud guild master to agree so easily.
"What?"
ChaosCleric stared at her.
"You cannot be serious."
IceQueen raised her hand slightly, stopping further complaints.
"My decision is final."
She looked back at VV.
"You will answer directly to ."
VV gave a small nod.
"Understood."
They did not bow even slightly. The others clearly noticed this, which only made them more confused and intrigued by this person.
Throughout the ga they had never seen IceQueen treat another player with this level of tolerance.
Not even the current top player BrawlerX commanded such treatnt from her.
"From today onward you are a mber of ChaosKnight," IceQueen said.
Several players nearby reacted imdiately.
"That actually happened."
"He just joined like that?"
"Imagine soone walking into a guild and requesting to be the third in command."
ChaosKnight mbers looked uneasy, but none of them spoke further after a sharp glare from IceQueen. They gulped and looked away.
IceQueen turned toward the guild building.
"We will discuss your responsibilities later."
VV remained standing where they were.
IceQueen looked forward as she spoke again.
"With VV joining us, our next priority remains the sa."
ChaosCleric already knew what she was going to say.
"White Phantom," she said calmly.
ChaosCleric sighed quietly.
"If we find him first, things will change."
VV did not respond.
ChaosCleric watched the scene for a mont, then slowly shook his head.
He already had the sa thought again.
This was another mistake.
Even with this strange player and White Phantom... would anything really be different?
