Now reading: Chapter 75: Joining a Guild [1] from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

Gabriel approached the half-destroyed chanic dummy with steady steps.

Edgar was currently away, and the only people inside the training room were him and Scarlet.

However, she seed focused on perfecting her technique and wasn’t paying attention to Gabriel.

’Let’s see what I’ll get.’ His eyes glinted.

The robot’s strength was equivalent to that of a Level 25 Awakened.

Gabriel was slightly disheartened that it wasn’t a higher level.

Based on his observations, stronger beasts seed to yield much better options than weaker monsters.

"Well, just have to make do with one." He narrowed his eyes and then muttered under his breath. "Extract!"

10 EP was deducted from his total reserve of 77, and a purple screen flickered to life before him.

[Synthetic Alloy Knuckles]

[Power Core Fragnt]

A look of disappointnt crossed Gabriel’s features when he didn’t see the option he was looking for.

He had been hoping there would be chanic class options, just like there had been with the cardinal.

’I guess classes are even much rarer to co by.’ He thought.

Still, Gabriel didn’t consider the EP points to be wasted as there were so options on the list that caught his attention.

’Synthetic Alloy Knuckles.’

Unlike the other two, which were more of a gamble since he had no idea what they did, the Synthetic Alloy Knuckles were self-explanatory.

Without wasting a mont, he selected that one.

When he did, a pair of sleek synthetic alloy knuckles appeared in his hands.

[Synthetic Alloy Knuckles (Silver)]

[Durability: 200/200]

[Description: Increases the damage of unard strikes. 10% physical damage when equipped.]

Gabriel was soone who preferred using either his greatsword or his fists. As such, these could go a long way on the battlefield.

Quickly, he stored them away before anyone noticed and then proceeded to use Extraction on two more dummies but still didn’t find what he was looking for.

However, he did increase his Perception by 3 and found a tal helt that perfectly matched the gauntlets.

When he saw the effects of the helt, a gleam of excitent shone in his eyes.

[Combat Visor Mk.I (Bronze)]

[Durability: 100/100]

[Description: A visor equipped with basic combat-assist optics. Enhances clarity and target tracking speed, making it easier to land precise strikes against fast-moving enemies. Grants 5 Perception when equipped.]

The helt was several tis better than his Raven Suit helt, which he had purchased for the rescue mission.

He didn’t use his Talent on the dummies again because not only was his EP sitting at a pitiful amount, but if he continued to use his Talent, it would raise suspicion.

So ti later, Edgar returned.

"Alright, that’s it for today. I can feel that with just a little more push, you both will master it," he said, holding the hand of a little elven boy.

Gabriel realized it was the sa boy who had been too anxious to even speak back at Neon’s settlent.

The good thing was that Edgar seed to be taking perfect care of them. The genuine smile and the boy’s radiant complexion were proof of that.

After speaking with Edgar for a while, Gabriel proceeded to leave.

"Wait!"

Scarlet called behind him, but he was already gone and didn’t hear her.

"You wanted to tell him sothing?" Edgar asked as he ca up to her.

"The upcoming event," Scarlet said. "He would be a good addition to the team. I wanted to officially invite him, but I doubt soone like him would want to be under soone."

"Well, don’t just jump to conclusions," Edgar said. "He was humble enough to train under ."

"That’s because it benefited him."

"Well then, I’ll be taking my leave. Thank you for the training session."

"It’s fine. Your old man did a lot more for ."

After a low, respectful bow to Edgar, Scarlet left as well.

Left alone, Edgar finally had ti to check out the destruction the two had caused.

A deep frown appeared on his face.

"The queen won’t be pleased with this. Each one of these will cost at least 200,000 valerian dollars."

The middle-aged man began to make ntal calculations in his head.

’Huh? What is this?’

He suddenly ca to a stop before one of the broken dummies.

However, there was sothing strange about this one.

The other ones simply had slash marks and fist holes, but this...

"Did they crush it to dust or what?" His eyes widened in disbelief.

---

"Where to, Master?" Anna asked as they walked through the streets.

Training had closed early, so most establishnts were still open.

"To the Adventurers Guild," Gabriel replied and didn’t speak any further.

When they arrived at the guild so monts later, he moved to the receptionist.

"I would like to create a guild," he said.

"A guild?" The receptionist blinked twice, as if doubting what she just heard.

"Yes. I want to create a guild," Gabriel repeated confidently.

The receptionist glanced at Anna, then back at Gabriel. "Um... sir, creating a guild isn’t sothing you can just casually do."

The nearby adventurers had stopped what they were doing and were now watching Gabriel with curious eyes.

"Did he say he wants to start a guild?"

"Heh, probably so rich kid thinking it’s easy."

"Doesn’t he know the requirents?"

Of course, Gabriel knew the requirents. After all, he had started his own guild in his past life as well.

However, there was a clear difference.

Back then, he had been a player, and there were pretty much no serious requirents. But now that he was a character in the ga, he didn’t think it would be that easy.

The receptionist, realizing he was serious, awkwardly cleared her throat and began to explain.

"To register a guild, you need to et the following requirents." She held up her fingers as she listed them out.

"One—you must be at least Level 35."

"Two—you must have at least three founding mbers present at registration."

"Three—you’re required to deposit 100,000 valerian dollars. And four—you must already be a mber of an existing guild with at least ten completed missions."

’It’s just as I expected.’ Gabriel thought inwardly when he heard the requirents.

He could easily raise the registration fee.

As for the mbers, that wasn’t really an issue either. If he spent so weeks in the wilderness, he could also increase his level to 35.

But what would be troubleso was the guild requirent.
