Now reading: Chapter 95: Sir Broken from God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!, a Game novel by MidnightWolfe.

"Broken Heaven, you are surrounded!" IceQueen declared, pointing her magical staff at Gabriel.

At the sa ti, the rest of the ChaosKnight Guild, who had blended into the crowd, also withdrew their weapons—a clear sign that they were ready for a fight.

"Um, Mister Broken, do we still get our rewards after the fight, or should we co back later on?" one brave soul asked.

Unfortunately for him, he didn’t receive a response or even a glance from Gabriel.

When Gabriel saw their weak, low levels, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Each of these people wouldn’t be able to withstand even a single punch from him!

What gave them the confidence to even approach him in the first place?

The air was tense for the other players. They were confused about what to do, torn between fleeing for their lives or staying behind to witness what could beco the first war between players and NPCs.

"Sir Broken, if you don’t mind, I can get rid of them!" At that mont, BrawlerX—the first player who had received a quest and reward from Gabriel—spoke up.

"Yes!" another shouted in agreent. "Although they have numbers, we have better treasures!"

"Please, Mister Broken, let us fight them!"

"Yes! The last thing I want is for ChaosKnight to kill him and I lose my quest!"

"Where would we even see an NPC as generous as him?"

IceQueen and ChaosCleric’s eyes twitched in anger when they heard this.

"If you help the NPC, consider yourself a traitor!" she shouted, her voice filled with fury. "You’ve been warned. So if you want this ga to be unplayable for you, go ahead and side with the NPC!"

When they heard this, so players hesitated—especially those who hadn’t received any quest or reward yet.

Calmly, Gabriel retrieved a biscuit from his pocket and began to munch on it. He gave a slight nod to Anna, who was standing beside him.

Through their connection, Anna could easily feel what Gabriel’s intention was. She stepped forward and raised her voice—cold and elegant.

"Anyone who does not interfere will still receive their rewards. However, anyone who sides with the ChaosKnight will be treated as an enemy and killed on the spot."

Several players sucked in a cold breath when they heard this. That sentence alone made half of them step back.

"We... we weren’t planning to help them anyway."

"I’m just here for the map, I swear!"

"Dammit, why does this ga seem so serious? I just wanna f***ing enjoy myself!"

Though so stepped back, a few brave players—grateful for Gabriel’s generosity—stepped forward.

"We may be weak, but we ain’t cowards!"

"If we don’t help him now, then we don’t deserve any of the loot he gave us!"

ChaosCleric sneered. "Fools. Do you really think you can oppose our chaosknight guild?"

"I don’t care if you’re Chaoskinight or any guild," BrawlerX growled. "You ss with Sir Broken, you ss with all of us!"

"Tch... Trash with loyalty is still trash," ChaosCleric snapped, raising his staff.

IceQueen narrowed her eyes and aid her staff at the group. "Fine. You want to die with him? Then we’ll grant your wish! ChaosKnight, attack!"

In a flash, the mbers of the ChaosKnight Guild charged forward like a tidal wave.

Gabriel calmly handed the half-eaten biscuit to Anna and took a single step forward.

As he did, his deep voice rang across the battlefield.

"Don’t interfere in this fight. I’ll handle them alone."

"But Mister Broken!" BrawlerX tried to speak, but Gabriel silenced him by raising a hand.

"Maybe another ti," he said, as he activated [Silk Combustion Thread!], the skill he had acquired from the Mother Spider.

Imdiately, flaming webs exploded out, engulfing the incoming players. Dozens were thrown into the air before crashing to the ground, HP bars instantly depleting.

ChaosCleric’s eyes widened in horror. "That... wasn’t supposed to happen..."

As for the rest of the players who had chosen not to involve themselves...

When they saw Gabriel unleash his power like a raid boss, they couldn’t help but cry out in admiration.

"Holy crap—did you see that?!"

"Bro’s fighting like he’s the final boss of a secret dungeon!"

"Wait... this is an NPC?! No way! That’s gotta be a hidden dev or sothing!"

More ChaosKnight mbers lunged forward, but Gabriel was already moving. He activated [Silk Combustion Thread] again.

The sa thing repeated itself all over.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

ChaosCleric stumbled back, trying to escape the thread’s range. He was now seriously pondering if they really thought they could overwhelm a Level 32 NPC with numbers—or had they just been that dumb?

He was leaning toward the latter.

Even IceQueen gritted her teeth. "Pull back and regroup! Don’t rush him—he’s baiting us into AoE traps!"

But it was too late.

"[Dark Fla Orb!]"

A sphere of pure destruction slamd into the left flank. Half the group was wiped instantly, gear flying through the air as red system notifications flooded everyone’s screens.

[You have been slain by Broken Heaven]

Naturally, because Dark Fla Orb wasn’t on cooldown, Gabriel abused it!

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!

Dozens of dark flas rained down from the sky like teors, slamming into ChaosKnight mbers one after another.

[Player "HotshotZero" has died.]

The scene was a massacre.

When he finally stopped spamming [Dark Fla Orb], only two ChaosKnight mbers were left barely clinging to life—and even they had fallen to their knees, trembling.

These two were the strongest: IceQueen and ChaosCleric.

IceQueen coughed up blood, her armor cracked.

Gabriel approached her calmly.

"Next ti," he said softly, "bring soone worth my attention."

Before she could even lift her head, Gabriel rcilessly stomped her—killing her on the spot.

Afterwards, he killed ChaosCleric, who had tried to log out of the ga as quickly as he could—but a bold error ssage flashed across his retina:

[Ding! You can’t log out during Combat]

"Oh shi—"

BOOM! Gabriel killed him before he could finish his sentence.

Silence.

Anna gracefully stepped forward and returned the half-eaten biscuit to Gabriel.

"You dropped this, my Lord."

He nodded, took a bite, then turned back toward the crowd—his unofficial "followers"—who were all frozen in shock.

It was at that mont that an announcent echoed:

[World Announcent]

[Player-Faction ’ChaosKnight Guild’ has suffered heavy losses in Red Fang City

’Broken Heaven’ has been flagged as a Catastrophic Threat. All factions are advised to proceed with caution.]

The forums exploded again—and this ti, no one dared to laugh!
