Just as he prepared to follow up and finish Joanna off, a large, powerful hand clamped down on his shoulder in a death grip.
Knox froze slightly and turned his head.

"If you want to kill Lady Joanna, you’ll have to step over this old man’s dead body first!"
Knox was instantly dumbfounded. "Senior Leo, what... what did you say?"
Before he could even react, the ground beneath his feet trembled violently.
A majestic, overbearing coercive pressure crashed down from the sky like a torrential downpour. It completely enveloped him. Rendering him utterly unable to move a single inch.
Knox shuddered.
He turned his head stiffly.
The murderously furious Alex. Walking toward him with a deeply darkened face.

Alex slowly raised his head. His eyes glared deadly at Knox. Raging fires burning within them.
Knox shuddered all over. But he still forcefully suppressed his terror and mustered his courage.
