Now reading: Chapter 860: Space Ring from God of Pets, a Eastern novel by Twelve-Winged Dark Seraphim.

Now the ring can move freely, but Chen Guan still couldn’t open the ring and could only summon Ming Fei.

Ming Fei placed the ring on her fingertip and said to Chen Guan with a smile: "I can sense it; this ring is not simple."

"Isn’t it just a space ring?" Chen Guan asked.

"Space rings are divided into two types. One type anchors the ring to connect to a space, which makes this space ring essentially only a space connector."

"The other type has an independent space created within the ring itself, which requires the ring to have space attributes and imnse power to open the independent space."

"What’s the difference between these two?" Chen Guan thought for a mont and asked.

"The first type of space ring is similar to our relationship with the Secret Realm. We are just a point of connection; the Secret Realm is not directly related to us. We rely open a channel into it, like drawing water from a river to irrigate fields."

Ming Fei continued, "Creating the second type of space ring is much more difficult. It requires supre spatial power to carve out new territory, and the difficulty is vastly different."

Chen Guan understood Ming Fei’s aning; the two indeed have fundantal differences.

What Chen Guan didn’t understand was, if they’re both used for storage, what’s the difference?

Ming Fei explained Chen Guan’s query: "The first type connects to an existing space which could be in the Divine Land, Secret Realm, or the vast star cosmos. Since it’s a real place, other creatures might reach it, and the environnt might change over ti; the space in the second type ring doesn’t have this issue unless soone opens it, no one can enter."

"Are you saying this is the first type of space ring, connecting to an existing place, though unknown where?" Chen Guan pondered, knowing if it were the second type, Ming Fei wouldn’t need to explain so much.

Ming Fei nodded firstly then shook her head: "Yes and no, that’s why I said this ring is not simple; it has the characteristics of both types, with its own independent space while being an anchor point to another."

Chen Guan finally understood why Ming Fei had so much to say.

Chen Guan pondered for a mont before speaking: "Can you sense what’s inside the ring’s space and the connected space?"

"I can only sense what’s in the ring’s own space; for the connected space, we would know upon visiting." Ming Fei pinched the ring with her fingers, and her Primordial Energy continuously flowed into the ring.

"What’s inside the ring?" Chen Guan asked.

"It’s better if you see for yourself." Ming Fei said and activated the ring. The space twisted, bringing both of them into the ring’s space.

Chen Guan was aware the ring space wouldn’t be dangerous; otherwise, Ming Fei wouldn’t bring him in like this.

The scene before them changed, and Chen Guan found himself inside a palace, extrely grand with walls nearly a hundred ters high, making one feel small within.

However, the colorful walls seed odd.

Looking closely, Chen Guan discovered that all the palace walls were shaped like bookshelves, full of books inside.

The walls Chen Guan saw were not the actual walls but countless neatly arranged books.

Chen Guan walked around the palace, finding it contained only a desk and chair, aside from the walls full of books.

Chen Guan considered many possibilities, even thought Ji Changsheng might plot against him, leaving sothing inside the ring to deal with him.

He also thought Ji Changsheng might have left massive resources to shelter the Ji Family in the future.

But having thought through every possibility, Chen Guan never expected Ji Changsheng would leave a room full of books for him.

"It’d take several lifetis to finish these books; what’s Ji Changsheng’s intention by leaving them?" Chen Guan couldn’t fathom.

Most human Secret Techniques and Skills depend on the Secret Core; only techniques without a Secret Core are basically useless.

So these books couldn’t be about Secret Techniques and Skills, and Ji Changsheng already told Chen Guan his strongest and most skilled Secret Skills, no need to leave more.

Chen Guan glanced at so book covers to know what Ji Changsheng placed in this space ring.

"Hmm!" Chen Guan noticed many familiar nas.

"Sand Scorpion... Sand Snake... Giant Centipede..." Chen Guan found that each book is nad after a Secret Spirit, likely real ones.

Chen Guan’s heart stirred, pulling out a book to read.

As expected, the books contained detailed information on corresponding Secret Spirits.

The Sand Scorpion book opened by Chen Guan included thorough details on the Scorpion’s talent, Secret Techniques, Skills, Treasures, Celestial Destiny Star, Celestial Destiny Secret Treasure, Secret Law, Secret Realm, and Secret Collection, along with body structure, habits and favorite traits — all recorded in terrifying detail.

The book also had anatomical diagrams of the Sand Scorpion, showcasing every inside and outside detail, including explanations.

Chen Guan couldn’t help but admire after reading: No one’s success is re luck; King Ji’s collection of Secret Spirit data, though not the world’s most complete, is very close.

Seeing this, Chen Guan not only felt un-disappointed but joyous.

Ji Changsheng might not have left him resources, but left a wealth of resources instead.

Chen Guan could slay Ninth Awakening Spirits, but fearing unknown powers they might use, he maintained his Secret Law at Invulnerable to All Techniques status, not daring to easily handle those mysterious high-level Secret Spirits.

With Ji Changsheng’s bestowed Secret Spirit knowledge library, Chen Guan can strategically hunt these spirits, and though Ninth Awakening Spirits require targeted planning, they’re not impossible to defeat.

He quickly examined the bookshelves again, soon finding their arrangent logic.

Blessed Land, Grotto Heaven, and Great Cave Heaven were categorized into areas, each divided into three awakening levels. Generally, it’s based on awakening level division.

Within each area, further differentiated into Ordinary, Rare, Uncommon, Unique, Unparalleled, and Secret God Quality classes.

Chen Guan went to the Great Cave Heaven zone, glancing at Ninth Awakening Secret God Quality section, noticing many archives.

Though mostly unknown to Chen Guan, so like Celestial Eye Evil God, he had heard about.
