Ye Qiu felt a pang in his heart upon hearing Xu Batian's inquiry. He knew Xu Batian would ask about these things.
However, he didn't mind. He had already discussed it with Lin Jie on the way, so he laid out the agreed-upon reasons to Xu Batian, who nodded slightly and didn't continue questioning.
He just asked Ye Qiu simply, having now placed a lot of trust in him.
Seeing Xu Batian stop asking, Ye Qiu and Lin Jie exchanged a glance and smiled.
At this mont, Xu Batian suddenly said to Ye Qiu, "There's sothing I need to tell you."
Ye Qiu paused, "Go ahead."
Xu Batian said, "Are you interested in going to the Golden Triangle with in a few days?"

Ye Qiu knew Xu Batian wanted to use him to accomplish one final big task, which was precisely the purpose of his undercover mission—to be close to Xu Batian to capture him.
Upon hearing Xu Batian's eagerness to propose, Ye Qiu felt a surge of joy and then exchanged a secret glance with Lin Jie, who nodded discreetly.
Ye Qiu took a deep breath, then looked at Xu Batian, and said, "Going to the Golden Triangle? For what?"
Playing dumb has its role.
Xu Batian chuckled, "To be honest, all the goods I've dealt with over the years ca from the Golden Triangle, from Andar and the General. This ti, I'm personally going to the Golden Triangle for a massive transaction."
"How big is the amount?"
Ye Qiu asked, but imdiately regretted it. After all, he's now Xu Batian's subordinate, wasn't this overstepping his bounds?
Lin Jie furrowed his brow.

Seeing Xu Batian didn't press him further, both Ye Qiu and Lin Jie breathed a sigh of relief. However, from Xu Batian's tone, the amount seed unimaginably large, leaving them full of doubt.

Xu Batian then said, "So, are you interested in coming with to see the world?"
Ye Qiu hesitated for a mont, then said, "Why ? I just started working by your side, and you..."
"You're quite the actor." Lin Jie looked at Ye Qiu pretending to be clueless, feeling contempt in his heart.
Xu Batian replied, "Haha, because I see great potential in you, and you're the most suitable. Plus, I trust you deeply."
"You trust ?"
Ye Qiu asked, "Why do you trust ?"
"Simply because you dare to ask why I trust you!"
Xu Batian's response left Ye Qiu stunned, then he chuckled, "You do things in such an enigmatic way."
Xu Batian said, "If you understood, wouldn't you beco ?"
Ye Qiu nodded, "What you say makes sense."
After pondering for a mont, he said, "Alright, I agree."
Xu Batian smiled again.
Ye Qiu asked, "When?"
Xu Batian said, "Wait for my notice. Rest well and prepare in the anti. I'll inform you when the ti cos."
Ye Qiu nodded, then rembered sothing and said, "Right, the thing you promised —I want to see Xu Lei."
Xu Batian was stunned, then looked at Ye Qiu, his anger subsiding montarily.
Feeling uneasy under Xu Batian's gaze, Ye Qiu still said, "This is sothing you promised , and I hope you keep your word."
After a mont of silence, Xu Batian said, "I can't let you do that, but I can have Xu Lei co to see you."
Ye Qiu nodded, "That works."
But in his heart, he sighed. He originally hoped to use this opportunity to find the location of Xu Batian's hidden villa, but it seed unlikely now. However, the thought of seeing Xu Lei made him happy.
"Alright, you and Lin Jie can go now. I'll let Xu Lei see you a bit later."
Following Xu Batian's words, Ye Qiu and Lin Jie stood up respectfully and left Xu Batian's room.
Outside, both Lin Jie and Ye Qiu heaved a sigh of relief.
Lin Jie said, "You're quite bold to ask."

For one, he could soon complete his mission and bid farewell to this crappy undercover life, and secondly, he could take the opportunity to see the Golden Triangle for himself. After all, the world is vast and needs exploring.
"Alright, let's go out for a good drink."
Lin Jie suggested.
Ye Qiu nodded, then left with Lin Jie, indeed needing so relaxation.
Just as they reached the entrance, they ran into Xu Jiao.
Seeing Xu Jiao, Ye Qiu paused, and Lin Jie did too, giving Xu Jiao and Ye Qiu a deep look, then said to Ye Qiu, "I'll wait for you outside."
With that, he left.
Xu Jiao watched Lin Jie leave, then rushed to Ye Qiu's side, looking at the unhard Ye Qiu with uncontrollable joy on her face, "Are you alright?"
"Of course, I'm perfectly fine!"
Ye Qiu replied.
Xu Jiao nodded, then bit her lip and hugged Ye Qiu tightly, leaving him stunned, "Hey, what are you doing?"
Xu Jiao said, "Don't move, let hold you for a mont."
Ye Qiu frowned slightly, wanting to say sothing, but feeling Xu Jiao's grip, he sighed helplessly.
Xu Jiao held Ye Qiu tightly and said, "Do you know, Ye Qiu?"
"Know what?" Ye Qiu asked.
Xu Jiao said, "I've been so worried these days. The two days you were away, I didn't sleep well, afraid sothing happened to you!"
"Haha, what could happen to ? Look, I'm fine now."
"Just as long as you're fine. If anything really happened to you, I wouldn't know what to do!"
Xu Jiao added.
Hearing Xu Jiao's words, Ye Qiu was at a loss for words.
After a while, Ye Qiu felt it was inappropriate to keep hugging and said to Xu Jiao, "Okay, Xu Jiao."
But Xu Jiao remained with her head down. Ye Qiu helplessly pulled her away, only to find Xu Jiao had fallen asleep without him knowing.
Thinking back to what she said about not sleeping well for two days out of concern for him, and seeing her able to fall asleep while leaning against him, he felt touched and sighed.

He carried Xu Jiao and walked outside.
Outside, he encountered Lin Jie.
Lin Jie asked, "What's going on?"
Ye Qiu replied, "She fell asleep."
"Where will you take her?"
Ye Qiu hesitated, then forced a smile and turned back.
Lin Jie said, "You wouldn't take advantage of Xu Jiao's sleep to do sothing, would you?"
Ye Qiu stopped, turned back to Lin Jie, and asked, "Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
Lin Jie nodded, "I think it's possible."
